Thank you to the entire Republic Team but especially Steve, Kim and Trish! Steve went above and beyond his duties and made our sons entire week!!! (Therefore making ours as well). They went out of their way and got our son balloons (that said you’re so special), sunglasses, a water bottle, shirt, coloring book and toy truck among other things!!! There are such kind and thoughtful people in this world and this team are some of them!!! They didn’t have to do anything for our son, it made his day just watching Steve drive and seeing the truck. But they went out of their way to make a little boy happy and that’s what it’s all about! Thank you for your service and kindness!
Horrible service missed our last two pick-ups which happens very often also never comes on the days they tell you your scheduled for im actually on here trying to find some one else and the girls on the phone do not come off friendly at all actually you can thank the girl that is working on this date for the loss of our business i get these are hard times right now but they are hard times for everyone not everyone can blame it on COVID and keep it moving
I had a billing problem. Their service for my business has been reliable for several years now with their driver Luis always being courteous and professional. I reached out by email to customer service. They responded same day and connected me to the appropriate person to fic the problem. Kimberly reached out and everything was taken care of the same day. I was pleasantly surprised by their quick and consumer friendly staff.
Just recently rented a 30 yard dumpster for our property clean out. The quickly responded when contacted. We had the dumpster delivered next and it arrived first thing in the morning! When we were ready to have it picked up they were also very quick to respond and the dumpster was picked up the next day! We also recently reached out to Republic for a quote on starting a new contract, again they were very responsive, worked with what we needed and came in with the best price! Highly recommend!
My experience has been nothing but positive with Stephanie Pacheco. She is always helpful and responsive. Whether it relates to billing questions, or requests for a change in size or the need for a roll off - her customer service is outstanding. We have never waited long for a response, delivery, or pickup and appreciate having her handle our account!
I rented a 15 yard dumpster from Republic for a month for a large renovation. Account Manager Lisa Dillon was very responsive and helpful. She knew exactly what I needed and got the dumpster delivered on time with short notice.The driver Will Guyton did a great job fitting the dumpster in a tight spot. He was also very communicative and polite. I was very happy all around with the service. I plan to use them again for my next renovation.

They show up when they are supposed to, try to accommodate us when access to the dumpsters is block. The drivers and the account manager have been very easy to work with.
I have used Republic Services for years for my trash removal and recycling. While I have had my issues over the years, I can not say enough about Kimberley Soares far as Customer Service goes. If there is a problem, she takes care of it. She is always, kind, patient, respectful, and most importantly effective! Whether correcting a missed pick up or assisting with additional pick up needs, she is incredibly responsive and always manages to handle things in a professional manner. It is unusual to find people who genuinely care about customer satisfaction and strive to put the customer first. Kimberley comes though on all counts. I hope Republic knows what a gem they have in her-she is one in a million.

Fresh Start Market just became customers of Republic. We shopped for a local removal service that aligned with our companys philosophy of supporting local businesses. Kimberley at Republic got us set up with both trash and recycling dumpsters quickly and provided us with posters we could print for our employees so that they would know what we can recycle and what we cant.Republic offered us great pricing compared to other companies we considered. Were grateful that we wont have to worry about removal services and Kimberley answered all of our questions and concerns. Looking forward to working with Republic.

I received great customer service from Kimberly my account representative. She answered allof my questions and made the drop off and pick up of the container process worry free. She ensured I would be notified prior to the drivers arriving and I was. This was very helpful. The drivers were the best too. Going out of their way to fix minor lawn damage due to frost and freezing. I was shocked that they went out of their way to help even after I insisted that it was not necessary. I highly recommend using Republic Services.

Absolutely the worse. Terminated services contract and only gave ten days notice. Discussed this and was told that another company purchased the contract and again was never notified. Asked about notification said they sent a postcard. Never received. To top that, they never notified us that the totes (all 22) were purchased by the successor company now I have 44 totes on the property. Have to give a star to post but they dont even deserve that.

I appreciate Lisa Dillon at Republic. Previously I found the company cumbersome and unresponsive. Since Lisa has been dealing with me things have changed radically....she follows up, she updates our account in terms of reopening from COVID...she is knowledgeable about how to make it easier for me to navigate by having one person to deal with at Republic.
Dealing with the company was difficult at first. I got conflicting info from 2 different reps and the website didn’t give me accurate info on the sizing that was available. I only had a short about of time in the day to complete the task of finding a dumpster and didn’t need the run around. I almost gave up on them but then I got a call from Paul. I could not have asked for better service. I told him what I need and the frustration I was experiencing. He offered to go look at the space and meet to discuss possibilities. We met next day and he told us the best option. He emailed me everything the same day. The conversation covered everything I need it to and I trust his opinion on the dumpster choice. If anyone in my area needs a dumpster rental, I will definitely be telling them to give Paul and call.
The first thing I want to say is that I NEVER-EVER leave reviews for anything. I live in the woods and I have had a 4yd dumpster from Republic Services for approximately 15+ years(since it was BFI) and recently decided to shop around to check the rates of other local disposal companies. All I can say is that Associate Account Manager Mary Horsman in the FR office is the ONLY reason I decided to stay with Republic Services. Mary Horsman goes above and beyond any customer service that I have ever experienced and I only wish other customer service reps were 1/2 as attentive and knowledgeable as she is. I can honestly say that the only time any account discrepancy or issue was ever brought to my attention BEFORE I was aware of it was by Associate Account Manager Mary Horsman. Mary has called or emailed me any time she has noticed any irregularities with my account! It feels like I have my own personal customer service representative looking out for my best interest regarding my account with Republic Services. I cannot write enough positive things about my experience with Associate Account Manager Mary Horsman. Shes always been honest and upfront with me regarding my Republic Services account, whether I liked the answer or not; and has definitely kept my best interest in mind when we discuss my account. I dont want to praise her too much because Im being selfish and want to keep her as MY customer service rep with Republic Services. Thank You Associate Account Manager Mary Horsman.

Always having issues with pick ups on scheduled days and when you call customer service they always have a different excuse. My pick up day s are on Thursdays and today is Tuesday and they still haven’t picked up my trash. They are consistent on taking their payments on time 🤦

I was a customer for five years. I stuck with them even when everyone on my street dropped them for Dooley’s or ABC. We had problems, but nothing big. Then came December. They didn’t pick up my recycling for 30 days. I made 8 calls to customer services. Promises were made by staff. Nothing happened. I always heard about a “ticket” being sent or a “manager” being notified. After pick up I canceled service. Now their barrels have been sitting out front since the New Year. I was told they’d be picked up for a $60 charge. They have not been picked up. I’m considering pursuing legal action if this company continues to bill me for services not provided. DO NOT HIRE this company. All the stories about missed pickups and poor customer service are true
Missed trash, recycling and large item pick up numerous times. Customer service hold over 30 minutes for each time.I’ve called 2-3 times each day since missed pick up. Each time they tell me they have escalated the situation to a district manager and assure me trash and recycling will be picked up by end of day. Yet each day nothing. Promised returned calls by end of day but again no return calls.I will be calling town and ask that they be removed from preferred vendors list.

Make several false promises.. missed twice trash pick up twice in three weeks an have been given 2 dates that they were going to come back and get it...... And still waiting. If I could give this no stars I would. Not responsive is an understatement. They dont pick up rubbish and or recyclables we call, they say that they will the next day,, they dont. Many, many times this has happened meanwhile we are speaking to someone 1000 miles away. Time to look for a new carrier!

If you’re looking for a garbage collection company, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Republic services is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I started new service with them over a month ago. Trash cans were supposed to be delivered on July 27th and trash pickup starting the same day. 3 weeks later, no trash has been picked up, and no bins delivered. I had to take my garbage to the landfill myself to get rid of it costing more money. They managed to send me a bill in the mail without ever providing a service as well. I called them about the issue 10 times over the last 3 weeks before cancelling service today.
Multiple missed pickups. Customer service is based out of south carolina and has no way to contact this operator. Requested a call back several times with no response. Cancels requests for missed pickups without resolving the issue. Would not recommend this service to anyone.
Without a doubt the worst company to deal with. They canceled a dumpster contract after the dumpster was dropped off at a friends house. The division that dropped the dumpster refuses to pick it up and the only answer she gets is they are working on it. For the cost of the dumpster rental you would think they would have better customer service. Glad to see the generic response to everyones reviews. That alone shows how much they truly care about customer service. The attorney generals office is being called.
Ive been calling about our couch outside since the end of June! It is now August 7th!!! The 2nd week without anyone picking it up we cut it into 3 pieces. They kept telling my husband and I that someone was going to be coming by to get it.. Im beyond infuriated!!! I dont understand why they keep telling us its scheduled and no one friggin comes!!

They missed a months worth of recycling pickup. Every time I called they claimed someone would be out that day to pick them up. When I called to cancel they scheduled a barrel pickup for 3 weeks later. They did not come pick them up and Im currently still fighting to get rid of them. They also claimed they would give me a refund which they have not yet. Overall worst company ever.
Without a doubt the worst customer service ever!!! You call would be through many voice machines before it reach an actual human. And the lady on the National center call are so so so RUDE!!! She get irritated so easily when you ask her a question. She must be really miserable working for the company. Avoid at all cost!
I had no issues for the first year but these past two months I’ve been forgotten quite a bit. Recently, my pickup is scheduled for Friday, I was missed and they would pick up Monday but Monday came and nothing. Called again and was told that they’d pick up Tuesday still no pickup just a ton of trash in front of my house now. Spoke with four reps so far and with a supervisor and was told there’s a delay?! Asked to be connected to local people as I’m speaking with people in North Carolina but that’s impossible. Horrible business practice! No resolution other than wait maybe they’ll be there tomorrow. Oh but I have a reference number so maybe that’s supposed to appease me?! Do not recommend and will be switching companies once my trash is actually picked up.Update.. were into week two and still the same issue. DO NOT USE this company!
I shouldnt even give this company a rating at all, I have called them for the second month in a row with questions on my bill, they quote me a price and I never receive the correct price I have been quoted, I am switching trash services Monday. I cancelled service at the end of last month and I shouldnt be surprised that they still havent picked up my trash cans..Im just gonna drop them off at the dump. I love that they suggest that you private message them and there is no way to even do that..Im 46 and I have never dealt with a more clueless company with such bad customer service.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer of over 15 years, never had a issue. We get a new driver and all of a sudden its problem after problem! Rep came out to review the site a few months ago said we were all good. And out of the blue I get an email saying were closing your account due to safety issues?? Shouldnt the rep have said something months ago or even years ago! The kicker is we have a company to run and they say they are picking up our dumpster in 1 day, so they give us one day to find a new company. Horrible company and even worse customer service!!!! I was told a rep from my area would give me a call about why I haven’t been serviced and I still have not received a phone call.I’m extremely dissatisfied with the overall company. Absolutely infuriating company to work with. My tax dollars pay for them to come pick up trash and recycling and it is too difficult for them to do anything properly. I have never experienced anything as poor or lazy from a trash company in all my years of owning a home. With all of their 1-star reviews here, Im honestly shocked at how little they care. Youd think seeing all of the negative feedback would force them to change the way they (ineptly) operate, but alas.
I cancelled service due to missed pick-up and customer service was horrible. They charge you$30.00 per bin to end service but that info is only available on the website in fine print.
Horrible company to deal with. I’ve had to call this company several times to adjust my bill due to them increasing rates without notifying me prior. They adjust the bill back to normal and then increase again months later causing me to have to place another phone call. Finally called to cancel service and they surprise you with a $30 fee pickup per container and are extremely rude and unsympathetic and then proceed to hang up on you and refusing to transfer you to a manager. I do not recommend this company. Terrible customer service.

This company is unreliable! One of the ONLY ways to get the company to pick up the trash & recycling is to tell them on Twitter they missed yet another pick up. I have always paid my bill. The company never has a problem taking my money, but does have a problem taking my trash! The most recent missed pick up was 5/16, and I was told on 5/17 that since I waited until Friday when I got home from work, to call them my trash would be picked up Monday, 5/20/19. It was NOT! On Friday the rep told me the company would pick up the trash that has accumulated due to the 5 missed pick ups. It was another Republic Services lie. The bags of trash I had to keep inside my house are now outside waiting to be picked up AGAIN. I wish I had read the company’s reviews before I became a customer, and you should too! Two reps have had the nerve to ask me why the trash was not picked up! If I knew why I would not have called. This makes me believe the only people with the company who do their jobs are those who process bill payments! This company is nothing but a sham. It rarely picks up trash, yet sent me a bill for an amount above what was quoted. Another time I was charged extra because some customers did not recycle enough (their explanation). One time when these clowns did show up, they left a sticker on my trash can that stated the trash could not be picked up because one side of the trash can was against a solid surface. I had never been told this was a policy, and had been a customer for awhile. Someone was able to EXIT THE TRUCK AND AFFIX A STICKER TO MY TRASH CAN, BUT COULD NOT MOVE THE CAN TO A POSITION WHERE IT COULD BE LIFTED INTO THE TRUCK! It was irrelevant to Republic that the company had never informed me of the change. Also, the trash cans are routinely left in the street. I place them at the edge of my property, but somehow the automatic lift on the truck deposits the cans in the street. Save your money, prevent headaches, save the time you will spend on the phone speaking with customer service when your trash is piling up, and DO NOT do business with this unreliable, shady company. If you do, when you read this review, go find the contact information for the Better Business Bureau, a lawyer and your state’s Attorney General. This will save you time when you have to file complaints because your trash was not picked up.

Talk about a dumpster fire of a business!Republic Services is without a doubt the worst company I’ve ever dealt with.I should have known this would have been a nightmare from the beginning when they refused to deliver a town recycling bin as is required by their contract with my town.In the almost three years we utilized their service we never had a correct bill and I always had to correct their math on what one weeks missed trash would be.Sometimes they wouldn’t pick up for weeks. If you requested a response from them all you got was a generic auto send email from salesforce that doesn’t even address you by name. I received many of these all the same week after week. In desperation I turned to a Facebook chat get customer service because I had not had much luck with customer service the previous four times I called requesting a refund.On this special occasion, they came on Saturday, trespassed onto my property and emptied my bins (Note that at that point I had asked for a refund for the week rather than a pickup which is why the bins were not at the end of the driveway). Then threw the containers back into the middle of my driveway.Does not honor town or individual contracts and tries to charge for recycling when they cannot. Failed to give adequate notice of billing changes.My house is on the way to the dump and a republic services truck passes it every day.On several occasions trash was removed from my bins and left on my yard by republic services personnel.I called and chased for three weeks once notified of them leaving the area and they never came to pick up trash or their bin (8 calls, multiple emails, and Facebook chats across the month).
Worst dumpster company! I will be reporting them to BBB better business buenu as well. You sit on the phone for over a half hour, to find out the day they are suppose to be at a site delivering. That they have no record! How is this company still in business. I will have my business change dumpster company as well. I hope this post saves the next person aggravation.

Absolutely terrible. Theyve missed pick ups more than half the month & so far nothing at all this month. Complaint call doesnt make a single difference- and oh, people, make sure you request your $$ back after missed pick ups. Thats the least you can do & CANCEL THEIR SERVICE immediately after, because theyre not changing the way they operate anytime soon.

I had multiple customer service episodes with representatives who answered the 800 telephone number. The representatives were poorly trained, incapable of sorting out the billing problem that their company created, and unwilling to seek advice from their colleagues. This happened multiple times. The supervisors with whom I spoke where equally uninformed. It was only after I filed a complaint that a helpful and informed representative from Fall River, Massachusetts called me and straightened out the problem. (It too 2 minutes to fix their computer code error!) I now have to call them back with another question and am dreading it. ********Avoid this company at all costs.******
They dropped off a dumpster and for 2 months didnt come once, after calling everyweek I finally canceled . Do not waist your time .worst company in the world. Ive giving 1 star because the call center people were very nice and professional but thats it .
Absolutely terrible. EVERY single time I call in to schedule a pick-up, they dont come so I need to call back. Then they typically say they will be there the next business day between 8-5 so I make sure no one is parked in front of the bin and we keep the parking lot cleared (which is already pretty tight to begin with. A company with about 10-15 vehicles and we have about that many spots) only for them not to show up and I have to call again. Then they eventually come after 4-5 phone calls only to receive my bill and see that were double charged for each call I make. So they then need to remove it and credit our account (another call) so in order to get my bin emptied EVERY week, it takes about 6 phones per pick-up and a whole lot of hassle. I have complained and complained and complained since its probably happened the last 8-9 pick-ups and nothing is EVER done.
I have called customer service 5 times to get a dumpster removed. I have a case #62998908. this went out to reps and supervisors at Fall River supposedlyNo one can remove this dumpster until the rep Kim Soares looks at it. I have called her 4 times and have not received a call back. I just called her again and miracle of miracles she answered!!!! She cannot help YET because she has to talk to her boss Stephen OBrien ( she does not have his number) and confer with him about removing my dumpster. Kim says she will call me back after she searches the Republic property for her boss.How many acres is the Property?It has now been 11 days since the first call.Hamco Restoration has had many dumpsters with Republic for many years......but no more.Customer Service cannot help you and the service rep cannot help you. There is no direct number to the Fall River facility to call. Get someone else for your dumpster needs.
If I could give zero stars I would. I have canceled my service due to the incessant amount of missed pickups. I have been waiting since November for my barrels to be picked up by the company. I’ve called no fewer than 20 times and have gotten no results. This is the worst company I have ever worked with.
Do not use this company. They are on a two week “delay” and every time they “schedule” a pickup for my trash, they don’t follow through. I pay too much for this company to just skip pickup weeks like this. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I am switching garbage pickup companies ASAP.

They dont pick up when contracted, no one ever gets back to you when you call customer service (though customer service is very nice) no one has an idea. I was billed for 2 months of service after I cancelled and they removed their dumpsters (which took 45 days after cancellation). How does one company operate. DO NOT USE EVER!!!
If I could give zero star I would. My trash has been sitting on the curb for a week. Skipped pick up, delayed pick up, called 22 times in a week, trash containers still sitting there under a 90F sun... flies, smell, it is disgusting. Customer service is most unpleasant and condescending people I had to talk to.
