I went there and got my suspension done they said that my exhaust needed to be fixed i told the guy what i wanted a stainless steal exhaust for my mustang a 3 inch and me and the owner talked about it he wasnt happy. i told him id take my car somewhere else the owner then belittled me told me if i wanted a v8 i should have bought a v8 i do not reccommenen them to anyone the owner then called my house because i did not want there services anymore. y would the owner call your house if i did not want to take my car there anymore ? it was very unprofessional and he was very rude

Great honest mechanics Mike & Dylan will not just tell you what you want to hear, they do not over charge you and they do exactly what they say theyre going to do in a timely fashion. Been going there for approx 7 years with zero issues or problems. Would highly recommend for all your regular car maintenance or issues. They are very honest, fairly priced, and did great work on my car. They were pleasant to deal with I was offered several different options as well as their suggestions. The owner and the mechanic Dylan were both great and helpful. I will definitely be a returning customer for my vehicle needs.

Suggest you go to other sites like yelp and mapquest to get the real reviews for this place!!They are bad reviews on all the other sites that dont erase bad ones! I find it odd that a lot of the anonymous great reviews are on their site!Do not go to Mike at Performance Auto! Had to call the police to get my car back! Gave me an estimate for $164.69; when it was done he called me and told me that it was over $200 more than that. Asked him why it was a lot more and he told me he forgot to put the hundred dollar oil pan into the estimate. When he had originally given me the estimate the oil pan was in the estimate because he had named all the items to be included. Then could not tell me what the other $110 on top of the hundred dollars for the oil pan was for. Told him I would come and pay him but would take him to small claims court for the money. I would be walking down to get my car right then and asked him if anyone would be there at 5 oclock. He said he would not be there but his employee Dillon would be. as I approached the building from Davol street the garage door was closed with me car in it. I parked and when my boyfriend looked in the garage window he saw him walking away from my car. He had still been at my car why I wonder since plenty of time had gone by from when we saw garage door down, parked and went over to look in. Dillan said that he had just bought the car inside and that he was locking the car up because he said I had said I was coming down to get my car and he claimed I said I wasnt paying them and this is why he claimed to have locled my car back up. If I wasnt going to pay them why would I be bringing them to small claims court? That is not what I told Mike on the phone. I tried to pay them with my credit card and had paid with card when I paid once before. Dillon now said I could not have my car without cash. I was already there and since I walked down there I did not have my pocketbook and almost 400.00 in cash on me. I repeatedly tried to offer to pay him 100.00 and the rest on my card. He then insisted on cash or I would have to leave my car there in the garage and they would not give it back. His story was now to say that the original estimate did not include the oil change (Mike told me I would have to leave the car there in morning so the sealant for oil change could set all day because it had to dry; does that sound like the estimate didnt include oil change?) When I called the police in front of Dillon he tried to leave before they got there. He said it was now 5:03pm and that they were closed and he was going to lock me in there and turn the alarm on so that when the police were getting there and I went outside he said I would be breaking and entering. I refused to leave and luckily the police came right them. When they came they had Dillon call Mike who said he that all he ever wanted was for me to be happy, took $100 off the bill, I paid them with card and cash, and I got my car back. Not Ok .

Mike is a great mechanic. Wont go anywhere else.
