The women enjoyed talking to each other rather than helping me with mailing. When I asked a question it was if it bothered them to answer. There were ZERO customer service skills and when finished she just walked away without even acknowledging the transaction was complete.

Waited in line for 10 minutes while the Manager conducted a lengthy training exercise on the other checkout line talking to the employee and ignored the line forming. Then i found out that both knew less about their business than I did as neither knew about Surepost shipping or to offer me First Class USPS service which was half of what they tried to tell me was the least expensive method. Came off as bumbling and incompetent and generally oblivious to the impression they were making. Left. Took package to the Daphne store where I usually go and got it mailed in 3 minutes for $6 instead of the $12 they were claiming was the least expensive. Just a ridiculous and silly experience overall.

Don’t bother to set up an appointment for their advertised notary service. They let you set it up on line and confirm the day and time. They even send you a reminder the day of the appointment. Once you drive there they inform you that they don’t participate as they are not a corporate store. I can’t believe UPS would appreciate that exposure to such bad service. Avoid this store if you can.

Great place to ship and also drop off Amazon returns. The staff is always friendly and helpful with my shipping needs. Sometimes there’s a wait but they move quick and I’ve never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes. 👍🏼

Refused to ship my laptop for repairs because the outer shipping box was a liquor box and they will throw it away and did not offer any solutions or additional shipping options. Attempted to call customer service, however the main number does not offer any customer service options and refuses to allow you to speak to a human being.Store was also allowing people in without a mask despite their own posted policy on the door.

The store sold to new owners end of 2019 and it has been a nightmare since they took over completely. All the friendliness is gone and its a battle to get a single smile, I have no idea why anyone would buy a store if they dont like the customers. Parcels get scanned in late or not at all the wait line are out of control because staff is poorly trained . This used to be the best UPS store ever I truly miss the old owners and staff

Their phone immediately flips to voicemail during advertised hours of operation. I needed to inquire about a refund of charges for a misdirected package that has not yet been delivered, and the UPS website stated that I must contact the store directly to address the issue. This is rather challenging when no one answers the phone. Attempts to reach this location or a live corporate customer service agent have failed. It seems that UPS as a whole intentionally goes out of its way to avoid direct contact with customers, based on this experience. Im very disappointed, as UPS used to be much more reliable. Apparently, Ill be eating the shipping cost of the misdirected package and potentially lose the package, as well.

I read online that ups made color prints for .50. I could probably do better at the library, but the store was on my way and it was just a single print, so whatever. What they dont tell you is that they dont print it for you, you have to use their computer, which would be fine, except they charge you for the use. I used their computer for maybe 2 minutes. It ended up costing nearly $4 for a single piece of paper with a bit of color on it. There was no signage anywhere posting any of these costs, nor was I informed by the staff who pointed the computer out to me. Never going there again.

This is my office away from home. The staff is super friendly and you can always count on a warm smile and hello.They have most of the supplies I need to ship and also I think they do graphics design.Always a pleasure to go here.

My printer broke so I understand charging 17 cents a page to print something for me but when I arrived I was told it’s $3.00 for sending them an email. A dang email doesn’t cost anything, come on man.

I visit the area often and needed to fax some documents. I chose to do business with The UPS Store in Fairhope, I was amazed at the lack of customer service and high prices. When I entered the facility I was not acknowledged nor asked if I needed assistance. Eventually, a man who I believe to be, the manager assisted me. He was rather rude and not particularly friendly. I only needed to fax a couple documents but was made to purchase copies of my documents, because they couldnt fax front and back he explained?! I ended up paying for copies, I did not need, and double to send a fax. I was extremely disappointed with the service and prices of this facility. I will never grace my presence in this store again.

So unhelpful and RUDE. Im not knowledgeable about mail so I asked questions and told my helper i didnt know what I was doing so I would need help.... the check out person treated me like an idiot. The check out person next to us was helping her customer and letting her know HER shipping options and my helper did not. So when I heard the different options from the OTHER consultant I preceded to ask her what my options were because I wanted just standard normal cheap shipping but she acted like it was SUCH a burden to change the shipping details and let me know the options. *my consultant to her coworker* well she heard you talk about that option now she wants it* UMMMM YEA??? Is that a problem for you to do your job???? I had three small items so it really made a difference which settings they were because I know it should have been a cheap and easy send. Teach your consultants customer service and how to help customers get what they need. I had small, not time sensative packages and it seems like basic common sense to DEFALT the customer the cheapest shipping option unless they specifically ask for the better options. I probably still over paid for my tiny packages because my consultant was so rude that I just took whatever she did.I dont care if I asked her 15 questions its her job to help me and inform me what I am buying and doing.

CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! I had an issue with delayed shipment, and asked to speak to the manager, just my luck she was the manager. Teresa is her name. So, I respectfully explained the situation, of the delayed shipment, she quickly let me know there was nothing she can or will do about it, she and her husband owned the store and she answers to noone but her husband so I could not speak with anyone else about helping me resolve the issue at hand. I was embarrassed for her, the way she conducted herself during a customer issue that could have easily been resolved. Instead of being solution oriented, she chose to be combative and defensive, when I no longer wanted to speak with her. Very unprofessional, & rude, with no compassion or concern with the business of what could have been a long term customer.I live in Fairhope so I will make sure I tell my friends and family to do business elsewhere. Teresa, Fed ex would like to thank you for the new personal and business accounts I sent their way, not to mention mine of course! No amount of on the job training will fix the unprofessional, and self absorbed disposition you displayed over a fixable problem. Thank you for directing me to a business where I am appreciated.

A relative went to mail a brown envelope from this location and asked the attendant to put it in a UPS envelope so that it wouldnt rip open. She stood there and watched this attendant pack the envelope, but didnt see her put it anywhere but under the counter. When I received the UPS envelope, there was nothing inside. They claim there is nothing on their cameras that shows someone stealing, but really, it just fell out?? Wouldnt call me back and when I did speak with them they treated me as if I was wasting their time. I had to report to UPS headquarters. Wouldnt trust something valuable to ship out of here.
