Called Progressives roadside assistance claim. Got an operator in a foreign land, couldnt understand, 32 minutes and several requests for a supervisor, got a lad in Clarksville, TN. She understood me, but let me know that the $5 I have been paying for three years for roadside assistance was only good for a local tow, and since my dealer is in Mobile, they would need a credit card to pay for the truck. GOOD BYE PROGRESSIVE, this Platinum Customer is GONE.

My property and flood insurance prices have been consistently increasing over the last 5 years. I decided to shop our insurance. I called the Myrick Agency in Fairhope and gave them all of the information from our previous insurance company. They were extremely fast and easy to deal with. I have a little higher coverage than previously and my payments have gone down 150.00 dollars a month. It was a great experience I would recommend them to anyone in our situation or anyone looking for home owners and or flood insurance.Thank you baby

I’ve been with the Myrick Agency for about a year and a half. My homeowners has been cancelled now THREE times because of non-payment from the Myrick agency! I have to call them every 6 months to let them know my homeowners is cancelling. They say oh it will back date and we will take of it. One time they did not take care of it and I had to call several times and it took several weeks for me to get my homeowners reinstated. Not to mention, every time it cancels the insurance company has to come out and do an inspection. In all, there is no reason I should be getting cancellation letters when I use a insurance agency and when the money is there in my escrow account just the agency needs to pay it. Just be aware you pretty much have to hold their hand to make them do exactly what you want. Yes, they’re nice on the phone but don’t expect to get a phone call returned! Save yourself some time and find a more professional business to handle your homeowners insurance.

Horrible customer service. Rude. Huge increase in rates with no warning. No communication. They hardly answer phones or return calls and when you get someone, they are rude. Can’t get any information. Worse company I’ve had to deal with. They don’t want to help.

Had Myrick for almost a year - they cancelled my policy, said they would fix it, never did, didnt inform me of changes made to my policy that increased the policy cost, then didnt invoice for the increased rate, plus let my policy lapse. They are also unorganized, they originally sent me someone elses policy instead of mine - data security?!?

Tried calling to get a quote. The lady who answered the phone needs training. Very rude. Didnt even make it far enough to get the quote. She abruptly transfered me to a calling service basically hung up on me.

My wife and I recently moved from the area in August of 2020. It has been a struggle to get resolution as to the refund on our homeowners policy. We supplied all the required documents but someone in the office failed to send the documents to Orion. We lost two month of premiums and to date we have not received our money. I have called repeatedly and have even left messages for Mr. Myrick. He has never returned my call. Interesting that he would always call back when we were giving them money. It was cheap insurance so I guess you get what you pay for. Buyer beware.

After hurricane Sally flooding, Sept. 2020, here in Seminole, AL, I am currently trying to challenge a very low-ball and very incomplete flood policy insurance payment signed by their office. The Bennets, Ed and Miranda, have rarely returned calls and refuse to effectively contact the appropriate parties. As agents, they have offered no value at all in my claim process. Plan to change policies as ASAP.

Too busy to help with my concerns .They lost my business after the agent Sylena could not see any time to help me with my account. So I asked her to cancel my insurance and after 4 months later I am still having issues regarding Chase wanting to charge me for their insurance after she told me she had it canceled. They cashed the check from Chase....What a jacked up mess.NEVER USE THEM!!I am now happy With State Farm.

I went in an told them that I need insurance the lady said yes we can help u we went in her office an she wrote us insurance in matter of minutes at least thats what we were told then few days be later we get a phone call saying we need a home inspection so I called around an got one cost money to have them come out an do the 4 point inspection that I was told I need so emailed everything to her she said it was good. oh I forgot we also paid 340 for our down payment an 150 for home inspection an she say she cant write the insurance she was sorry an we could get our down payment back but not the money we paid for an inspection so after 2 weeks of this we still have no insurance

If I could give less than one star I would. I had a terrible time dealing with this company and only had this insurance for a year. In that time I never made a single claim and received three different cancellations notices from their underwriters. Buyer beware, if your buying a home choose your own reputable insurance company. Dont let your finance company do this to you!

The worst insurance agency I have ever used. They cost me many thousands of dollars after they refused to provided my bank with the proper insurance coverage documentation required for my mortgage, the bank then forced other insurance coverage, and then when they finally got the documentation back I was still out over $4000. Keep in mind that this was after numerous calls from my banker and myself. It was so bad that I considered hiring a lawyer to sue them . I’m not sure if they are just incompetent or passive aggressive or what, but it is extremely difficult to even get anyone on the phone that can help you. Myrick himself Will only return calls if you force him, and keep in mind this is after they have taken your money in their commission. The entire experience was incredibly stressful and infuriating.

When we moved to Fairhope six years ago our realtor introduced us to the Myrick Insurance Agency. At that time the agents at Myrick researched the different available policies and brought me the best deal with the coverage that we need. Every year Martin Myrick would review the available plans that are available on the market and at one point they suggested a switch that saved me hundreds. I would recommend Myrick to anyone who is moving to the Fairhope area.

I received a letter in the mail that my wind and hail insurance is being canceled, that myrick brokered. . I called Evan several times to try and get it resolved but he never returns your calls. I switched insurance companies and got better insurance for the same price. Horrible customer service. He knew about the issue for 6months before. If he had of just taken care of the issue or returned my calls,I would not have questioned how much I was paying. Its really a blessing that he didnt follow up.

Absolute terrible experience. Called them on Feb 6th in a panic because my insurance dropped me after a claim. They give me a quote...I send in a check....then I get a call on the 28th (last day that my insurance is valid) staring there is nothing they can do for me. Simply unbelievable and a terrible customer experience.

Poor Customer Service. Every year I have to call to get them to send the bill to my mortgage company. They will NOT call the mortgage company for you to fix their mistake. You have to call and get the mortgage company to pay the renewal premium. All the Myrick Agency is good for is to take your premium and NOT PROVIDE CUTOMER SERVICE. If that is what you want then purchase your insurance on the internet not from this agency. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I also had to call several times before I received a return phone call.
