Paid for the 40 dollar wash that claimed a “full service hand wash.” the center console and the doors were not touched. The seats were barely even wiped down. I asked the manager and she claimed that’s a detailing request. Before I even got into my car she started badmouthing me to other employees. I requested the manager and she started talking over him and I while we were talking. Waste of money and awful customer service. Especially from someone who is supposedly a supervisor. Added a few examples showing my car was barely touched.

Ive never written a positive review before, but am beyond impressed with how Splash staff fully detailed and shampooed the inside of my car. These guys are miracles workers. I had a large catering food order spill in the trunk of my SUV and the odor left behind was foul. They managed to eliminate the odor and get stains out of carpets. The cost was under 200 dollars.

Splash car wash do not go. Horrible cleaning car service . I spent so much money for nothing. I choose the premium package for deep interior cleaning, they would vacuum the trunk and leave inside super clean. Unfortunately they lied to me, my car trunk was not vacuum and inside had had some parts that was not cleaned or vacuum 😡.

5 Star detail service - very disappointed with my experience today. Extremely poor attention to detail!I had to repeatedly point out dirt, stains and spots that were overlooked by the detailing team inclduing Hectar(Detailing Manager). They forgot to clean the engine bay and boot and only did so when I pointed it out. Car was inspected by Anthony before handing it over to me.I took an additonal 3 to 4 hours after my return to clean my car myself. Sharing images of my car post todays detail as this is not what I expected after spending so much time and money. Extremely disssapointed! Rick

This place is a scam. My AirPods that were in the center console were stolen. I noticed as soon as I got home and went to grab them (I know they were there because I had just left the gym and put them there, I also noticed my center console was all messed up like someone had rummaged through it). Mediocre wash. They didnt even clean the door jams or wash my dashboard. If you go here, make sure you dont leave anything of any value in the center console. Not worth the trouble.

I would give 0 stars is possible. After being an unlimited member for 8 years, I just cancelled my membership. On a good day it usually takes 15-20 minutes to get my car washed. Yesterday it took 1 hour. The reason is that the manager decided to unload a freight truck with some metal beams, blocking the wash exit and thereby shutting the whole operation down during a peak time. Meanwhile everyone was stuck in the line to go through the wash and couldnt get out. I told the manager he should have scheduled the truck delivery for an off-hour time and he rudely told me he couldnt and that I didnt understand the car wash business. That may be true but Ive been in transportation my whole life and I know how to schedule a truck delivery.It gets even more unbelievable. During this entire time I was parked next to the vacuum crew. You would think the manager would ask them to clean some cars while they were doing nothing else as a show of good customer service for the delay. But no, I was told I only paid for an exterior wash and that was that. Meanwhile the manager and his assistant kept themselves inside and never came out to apologize to their customers or offer any compensation for the huge delay.To top it all off I also witnessed an elderly customer complain about a dirty window to one of the workers. He was immediately set upon by 4-5 Splash employees who began intimidating him by yelling and threatening him. It was a very uncomfortable situation and I felt compelled to run inside and fetch the managers out of hiding to deescalate the situation before it became physical.I cancelled my membership on the spot. The only response I received from the manager was a have a nice day.

Their detailing services are great and would highly recommend them. However, don’t go here for a car wash. It’s ridiculously expensive and you definitely don’t get what you pay for. I’ve noticed multiple spots many times that they miss when cleaning my car, very sloppy.

It’s the second time it happens. They should exclude vacuum from their services. Not recommend! There are other places cheaper than Splash Car Wash and they do a better job than them.

I have been to splash several times. The car is always clean but they must use the same rag that had something not for windows. Its always streaky and it takes a few times to get them clean.they really need to use separate rags to clean windows. Its like the tire spray or whatever they use to shine them is on the rag and they use it on the windows.

I paid for a package that cost somewhere around $27. My car was cleaned but not dried properly. It was dried on the driver side which was done by a male while the passenger side wasnt dried by a female who was to busy running her mouth to another heavy set older female. This caused water spots. I checked this morning to see how good the inside was vacuumed and it looks like it wasnt even touched. I went on 11/20 around 4:50pm. My last complaint is turning my radio station and turning the heat up on full blast. Your staff is not suppose to touch any of the controls on a customers car. Very unprofessional staff dancing around and using profanity. I will never return to this location

Got the Wheel Express service. They did a good job with my wheels finally! Normally they polish the tires and don’t wipe the wheels down. This time they got it right! Much appreciated!

Have been here multiple times and always a good job - this most recent experience? Absolutely terrible. I get that there is a lot of dog hair to vacuum, but at least make an attempt at it. For 35$ you should at least try for a minute or two...... it was clear they didnt even bother with the back seat/trunk of my car. One star given simply due to the fact that I feel bad for giving zero stars, and not even sure if it is possible to give zero stars......

Spent $37 for the “works” wash today. Came home and had to vacuum the back of my car out because they forgot and had to wipe down my tires because it was done so poorly. I’ve been going here for 3 years and it’s declined in service every time I go. Will be looking for a new car wash now!

I have been to Splash in Wilton so many times. They were clean and good. This one kinda got my stomach upside down and made me question the business. One of the employees passed in front of me two times. Spitting at least there times everytime he passes. He wasnt wearing a mask. And blew his nose using a tissue. Then came towel my car without washing his hands. The inside didnt look good to me either. Im done here

Hi, sorry I didnt leave an explanation to my poor rating. I meant to. We brought our car to get the full wash and clean. U stay when they do this. No one started working on the inside of our car after it was washed for over an 1 1/2 hours! And it wasnt because they were busy. There was only one car in front of us. All workers were working on that car. It created such a backup that we couldnt even pull out when our car was done. We were there for 2 1/2 hours. So inconsiderate of our time. Bring a book!

I really had to show them what was not done on my vehicle. And I have the unlimited wash so Im gonna give them another chance. But I have to say the manager on tha day was willing to go over the car again. Bu my se is do it once and be done.

Beware of deceitful employees. I walked up to my car after the wash service and my sideview mirror was cracked and sitting on my front seat. I was not given an explanation about what happened. I called over manager Billy who told me several times that the side view was cracked before it arrived and he just removed it and put it on the front seat because it was loose. The mirror was NOT cracked before arriving so I asked him to pull up the camera footage. The footage showed the mirror did indeed fall and crack while the car was being washed. Instead of an apology, Billy asked why the mirror was loose as if it were my fault. He and his employee were caught trying to cover up their mistake. He made me fill out an incident report which he insisted management would not accept. When I asked for a refund, Billy asked why? I stared at him wondering if that was a serious question. I told him because I dont have a sideview mirror any more. His only response was a laugh. Seriously. A laugh. I was lied to when employees tried to cover up their mistake, I never received an apology, and I was laughed at when asking for refund. Shockingly poor customer service from Billy and the staff. Now I sit and wait for a response to the incident report which, as Billy says, management wont accept.

First thing, I got an interior detailing on a dirty car and it came out clean looking and smelling. It was an amazing job! Unfortunately, I did not get his name.I did get Jasmines name and she was pleasant company while I waited. We had a little conversation, but the most impressive part was watching her and a coworker diffuse a potentially explosive customer. It was pretty awesome! He went from irate to apologetic and pleasant once they gave him a proper and thorough explanation of his bill.Kudos

They used some sort of tire shine or equivalent on the floor mats that left them quite slippery and smelling odd. I assumed they would dry and be fine. The following day they were still slippery and stained everything touching them with a dark oily residue. I had to take them out of the car and scrub them thoroughly to get the stuff off. For the money this should definitely not happen.

$30 car wash should include simonez shine but this price will only get you a exterior wash and interior cleaning.. but in reality an exterior wash with glass cleaner... The vacuuming is sub par with only visible areas so those crumbs in the edge of seat and under are for the critters. I had to ask for a rag afterwards to wipe down my cup holder, door, and plastics and the female worker mumbling under her breath stating if I expect for my car to be brand new. With that mindset no wonder the service is not worth the price...

Always do a great job. Got the full five star detail for my car after 6 months of snow/ice gunk and damage and the interior was full of dirt and dog hair. The car looked like new afterwards, it was wonderful. They also maintain appropriate mask wearing during COVID which I appreciate. They did a great handwash for my boyfriends SUV as well.

I just washed my car at this place for the first time and they did a terrible job. They charged me almost $30 to wash only the outside of the car and vacuumed the inside, that is it. The outside that they even washed, the mirrors are dirty, and left water in my gas tank area. $30 is what most places charge to clean exterior and interior and for that high price, one will think they will do a good job but it was beyond terrible. I know they were getting ready to close on about 30 minutes and not sure if that impacted the job they did but will never ever go there again!

I have a 2018 honda clarity, I used to go to this car wash, but then i stopped going because the service was so bad, i went today because there was a power outage and car wash i go to, had no power...... mean while i go to splash once again and there vaccuum job was awful crumbs still everywhere, i had to rewipe down all surfaces because it has soap residue on it. And to top it all off they threw away some important receipts of mine that i need to return stuff to a store. And i also payed for a wax and do not look anything like a wax at all.terrible job. Im very unhappy and very unsatisfied with the work they do at splash. I will no longer be going here. And i suggest no else to go here either.

The people are very nice and work hard but after paying extra for the wheel package and then coming home and having to wipe my rims down and apply my own wheel shine to the wheels it’s kind of frustrating. I keep up with my car and there was some light brake dust on the rims. After leaving you could clearly see that the wheels were never even touched. Shame on me for not catching it before I left but I should not have to stand over them and point out things that they missed especially when I specifically asked and paid for the service.

They NEVER get my whole car

Splash used to be a great car wash. Today, I spent $31 for a sub-par wash that would have been cheaper and much faster elsewhere. With only 3 cars ahead of me, it was 12 minutes before they even started on my car. In all, it was almost half an hour. I wouldnt mind as much if the job was well done, but most was poorly done. Dust on the dash was half-done, windows and mirrors were only the center - you know, the easy part. It wasnt because they were short handed; just lots of guys standing around or moving slowly. At 2pm on a Sunday, I was expecting better. For $31, I was expecting better. I get emails from these guys like every other day, asking me to give them money. If the product was better, maybe I would.2019-02-03 Update:.I shouldnt have to clean my interior after a wash. My rear passenger side was totally clean inside, but when I got home to unload, big wet muddy footprints, I suspect from someone using my interior as a step stool to wipe the top of my van. Yes, I was alone in the car. Simple wash, but still took over a half hour. And didnt get the service I asked for. If I hadnt been watching, I would have paid for something I didnt get. Theres no quality control here. No one is looking out for the customer, only Splash. Couldnt even redeem my credit, even with 2 people at the register trying. I get angry every time I try this place, thinking next time will be better. Why??

I had my car fully detailed at the Fairfield Splash car wash, they did an AMAZING job! My car is a low mileage beauty that only comes out in Summer, and I give it only the best care. Fairfield is a slight drive for me, but I will continue to take my car to the Fairfield Splash car wash to get the best service from Christian, Billy and the rest of the Team there! Wash is not worth the price they dont even vacuum your car properly. Lets also bring up the hand wash did not get everything off the car. I wash my car a couple times a week but this place was a sad excuse for a car wash.

This place is awesome if you want someone to sort of wave a wet rag in your car’s direction, and then take your car home and clean the windows again.Huge bird poop on the windshield was just smudged around, interior windows were just barely wiped down the center. They told me I’d have to wait again until they did the other cars before they’d re-do it, so I just left....I didn’t have another 30 minutes to kill.I honestly think someone was trying to get fired, they did such a laughably poor job.

Bad experience! $170 for a detail/wax. That wouldnt be so bad if it was done well & without confrontation. When we came to pick it up My husband had to argue to actually get what we paid for. They claimed it had been buffed...then why was there still bird poop present. Now driving it this week we find they didnt vacuum inside corners at all or wipe well inside. There is dust on visors. Really!!! Feels like robbery! Def will not b back ever!

I know an hour before close on a friday is not an employees favorite time. it should not take 30+ minutes to get a car through the wash when there are only 3 cars in front. and when the car comes out of the wash and is finished and its still dirty and dirt is coming off with a simple finger wipe, one should not be told if it doesnt come off during the wash you need a full detail. the car was detailed a week before. it had pollen and some flowers that had fallen onto it and just wanted a wash to keep her looking nice. also the dash was left looking dirty. i probably couldve washed it in my driveway better, cheaper, and faster, and next time i will! Edit: after looking in the car, it received the most piss poor vacuum job ever. A complete waste of money. This car wash used to be good.

Place charged my 135 dollars for an interior clean, when the other guy came to clean it he told me it was a rip off and that the guy charged me for the wrong detailing. He didn’t do anything about it.... Honestly annoyed and my car didn’t even come out that clean. Save yourself the money and go to the Car Wash on Kings Highway Cutoff!!!

I have been using your services over 10 years (because its hand washed),but I still find the need to do over what I paid for in the first place.The car is not thoroughly washed (lower portion of front and back) nor completely dried.I have to ask to clean the inside rear window, which should be done without asking.The employees work ethic reflects that of management.Your motto should be: We treat your car as if it were our own) and employees should feel proud their job was well done, not just okay.

I got a car was here today and paid 28 dollars. I am not satisfied as the inside was not vacuumed there are smears on the interior. The exterior has water spots and was not fully dried properly. Not happy at all.

Too many employees for the amount of time I spent getting my car washed. I had 5 vehicles in front (not a busy day) and it took 20mins to reach the washing point. I’ve been at different splash car washes but it has not taken this long. Overall not fully satisfied with the cleaning process missing the quality that others have.

I like this chain - there is a really good one in Darien too. Forgot to give them a coupon - and the guy comps me an entire wash - so he doesnt have to back it out. They did a great job on a very dirty SUV - luv em.

Hi I went to splash hand wash in Fairfield I asked for in and out the guy said to me you’ll get the full service I said meaning vacuum also he said yes and if you want mats wash will be extra four dollars ended up paying $28.99 plus tax I wouldn’t mind if I got a clean car but they didn’t vacuume it and didn’t vacuum the carpet not even the doors pockets, and on the outside the mud on the rims didn’t clean properly, I asked the guy he did a fast vacuum and I said thank you, but I won’t go back again.

My wife bought me a gift certificate for Christmas for a full detail. Used it last week and wow, my truck looks better than I thought it could ever look again. Thanks Splash!

I went and got a wash and after parking my truck at work I noticed they missed dirt on every fender and there were still bugs on my front bumper and grill. On top of that it looks like they did the windows with a damp rag and no glass cleaner. I had to do them again to see without streaks. I paid over $30 and got a wash that was no better than a $10 community fundraiser. I will not return to this location and stick with Shelton where I get the wash I paid for.

I have to say for my first time coming to Splash in Fairfield was phenominal. I came in last on the 10th Saturday and even though it wasnt too busy there was enough guys there to get in and out and I needed to be somewhere else at a certain time and my car was clean and ready by the time I walked outside. I was happy with the service and time. I even bought some gift certificates thanks to one of the managers Bill, he knew what I needed and convinced me on it. Great job guys, Ill be back soon.

Staff was friendly. I ordered the works and they did a good job. Left off a star as they missed some of the glass on the inside and didnt do a great job on the wheels. However they also cleaned some gunk off the windshield left from a mount. So overall I would go back, just give a better look before driving away.

Terrible! As a long time user of this Splash Hand Wash today was the day that I finally said I will not be going back. As the resent weather has drawn a lot of salt onto my car I decided to go and get my car washed. As they brought my car out front I noticed several inexperienced employees being trained and I watched closely as they were under little guidance, sub par to the workers I was used to. As they finally finished up after a long 45 minute wait I closely examine my car as I always do after a car wash and noticed a large amount of small scratches all around my car. I immediately mentioned something to an employee to get their manager. The manager on duty is named Billy Lozada who was polite enough to take an incident report from me but was unreasonable when it came to comprehending how the scratches were created. I look forward to speaking with the corporate office and getting a quote from a reputable paint specialist who can repair this damage done to my new car. As a member of a large car community at Sacred Heart I will strongly be encouraging no one else to go here until there are better experienced workers and the damage done to my car has been paid for. They took extra care to get all the leaves out of the wheel wells of my truck before the wash and it came out spotless. I love that they wash the cars by hand and the service was the most friendly around.

Customer for almost 20 years. The quality of fairfield location keeps slipping and it’s really bad now. For $30 you guys need to make sure cars are clean all over. Looking for alternatives.

A little expensive but so worth it. The hand wash provides a thorough cleaning and it doesnt scratch your cars clear coat like most automated car washes.

My car is 3 months old so there wasnt that much to clean. However, for $35 plus tax I would think that the interior doors and door jam would have been wiped off and a little effort would have been put into cleaning off the bird droppings from the back of the car.

My car was green with pollen. I wanted to see if their rewards program from Darien actually works and went to this site while I was in Fairfield for my 3 day rewash. After another friendly greeting they scanned my car and low and behold they gave me a free rewash. That’s awesome! I was very impressed and even decided to get my interior detailed with the money I saved. I went through the store to pay and they had similar items as the other store and they also had this cool train that runs around the ceiling. I can see the kids enjoying that. The cashier, Shantell(sp?), was very nice and doubled check that my car was ready for pickup. All in all very impressed with overall service, price and that FREE rewards program they have. Thank you

Got my car washed today 1/10/18 around 1:45 and had an item stolen out of my center console. Also don’t even think they attempted to clean the all weather mats that clearly had loose dirt particles
