We recently bought a 2021 Subaru Forester from Fairfield Subaru. We had a great experience from the first call to Tony Richardson up to the signing of loan documents with the Finance Manager. Tony made sure the SUV is clean and ready before we left the dealership. Tony also explained all the features of the SUV and he also made a courtesy call few days after our purchase. Their Subaru Love Encore Specialist also contacted us to schedule a meeting to discuss any questions about the car. Overall, the customer service is excellent and we are hoping we will also receive an excellent customer service with their service department.

We purchased our first Subaru (2021 Ascent) from Fairfield Subaru on Sunday. It was an overall fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this dealership. My wife and I had our two kids in tow (a 3-year-old and 4-month-old) so, needless to say, we wanted to get in and out as quickly as possible. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and accommodating and, yes, they got us out in record time! Our salesperson, Jeff, was wonderful from beginning to end and, most importantly, we never felt anyone being pushy, sleezy car salesman tactics, awkward and uncomfortable haggling, etc. All around, great place, great people, and we are very happy with the car!

We had a frustrating experience at this Subaru dealership. I had set an appointment to test drive a used Outback. The price seemed right and the service over the phone was great. However, when we arrived the outback had a large dent and chunk missing that was not disclosed. The tires were near bald, and the inside was filthy. My biggest problem with all of this was that our salesman, Tony, was absent for the whole appointment. I asked to see several other similar cars and he unlocked them and left. I am very disappointed with the service. I am accustomed to the salesman being present and answering questions on the vehicles. I understand it is different times with Covid, but we were outdoors, in masks, with more than enough space to stay apart. I feel like I would have driven away with one of those cars today but I felt uncomfortable with the lack of service.

The car we got is amazing and we love it! The sales guy was awesome and they worked with us on the price we wanted and the monthly payment we were wanting. The only reason why they dont get a 5 star is because the finance guy we were singing all the documents with was ridiculous and very rude to my wife and I and even made her have to walk out of the room because he was so rude and wouldnt listen to her.

Service fail at Fairfield Subaru. I scheduled a simple oil change online late last week for today at 1pm. At noon, I got a text telling me that I could now check-in. So, I drove over to the dealership to check in and possibly get in early. Instead, I was told that I’d still have to wait until 1pm since the mechanics were all out to lunch. Okay. The check-in text is not a real option. It’s just an appointment reminder disguised as a check-in feature. That’s unfortunate. So, I drove home, waited 30 minutes, and then drove back at 1pm. I signed in and the young woman at the service desk was very nice and helpful. After the preliminary paperwork was completed (and just to double-check), I asked if I would be able to make my 3pm appointment, since it was only now 1:10pm and I just needed a simple oil change. I was told that that was not likely since there were a lot of cars ahead of me. What?! I signed up online last week for this appointment. Why would I now have to wait 2 to 3 hours for a simple oil change? Why were there cars ahead of me? I had a 1pm appointment. And I showed up on time. Very frustrating. So, I cancelled my appointment and drove home without getting my car serviced. Not good. Evidently, the online appointment system is just a ruse to get you to show up at their dealership. It has nothing to do with actually reserving a time for your car. UPDATE: I went back again today (three days later) for a scheduled service appointment only to be told (once again) that I had two cars ahead of me--each taking 90 minutes on the rack. That means that I would have to wait at least 3 hours before they even got to my car and another 90 minutes beyond that just to change the oil. Not only that, the service counter was simply overwhelmed with 8 or 9 customers waiting in line and only one person behind the counter. They eventually got a couple extra people to help out, but still the wait just to check-in was 20 minutes. So, what is the point of scheduling an appointment if you still have to wait hours just to get a simple oil change? The staff were certainly personable and pleasant, if overwhelmed. But the system they have in place appears to be designed to only allow for people to drop-off their cars and come back the next day for pick-up. If you live alone and dont have another person to drive with, then youre out of luck. I was not offered a ride home or pick-up (which would have been difficult in any event since I live about 10 miles away). So, my only option is to wait at the dealership while they change my oil--which should only be a 15 or 20-minute process anyway. But to have to wait 3 to 4 hours or more for an oil change is simply intolerable. They even offer a so-called Express Service--which is clearly nonsense. A pure P.R. scam. Needless to say, this is a very poorly run service department. I am more than disappointed. In fact, I will now go elsewhere to get my car serviced.

When i was looking for a car, i first started in the Subaru in walnut creek and it wasnt my favorite experience, especially with some parts of the car problems not showed so we skipped them. Then when my family was able to come together to take a trip, we came out to this Subaru in fair field and There is so much i love about it. From face value the prices are fixated from the start, so you know what prices you are getting yourself into. They also had REALLY good customer service to the point where it felt like you was actually talking with actual humans with stories! The car i got was a really good one and they have all been super nice to me and my family, gotta shout out Larry and Emadb for being so kind! im definitely gonna keep in touch with them, the their playing field is very fair!

I was ready to purchase a vehicle today you would have had a sale today I wondered with in your lot for 45 minutes not a soul in site found what I wanted on your show room floor. Came in to ask questions and felt like I was pressuring the sales to make a sale.. long story short an undisclosed dealer got the sale today.. sometimes I under dress on purpose to see if Im judged.. I paid cash today.. other wise your dealer has a nice selection of options colors factory modified ones which I really liked.. o well your company will still do well and I hope lots of sales have a great one and thank you for letting me look at your vehicles .

Service seems slow the last two visits. I stood around about 15 minutes before being acknowledged today. Last time I waited over half an hour while my wife took off from work and waited for me to get checked in and provided with a loaner car. Both times I had an appointment for service.

I came in last month searching for a used car since mine had recently broken down. The salesman Luis started helping me and was kind to letting me test drive a couple different cars. Seeing that it was my first time purchasing a car, he made it clear that they had great deals for there new models as well. Just bought a used Impreza and had a mixed experience. Sales staff was great and super helpful when they showed the car. They give you the option to test drive alone or with a sales rep which is nice. Buying was seamless and super easy.On to some of the bad, I got the car checked out by a local mechanic as soon as I took it home, and he found some problems that should have been caught by their safety checks before they sold the car. Some fluids needed changing (it even had the wrong type of coolant) and some important bulbs were out. The sales rep told me they had changed the oil and done a smog/safety check before selling the car, but I guess it wasnt completely thorough and they missed some things.Credit to the dealer, they let me bring the car back and are currently fixing all of the issues that should have been caught; the mistakes they made in their initial checks only cost me some time and trips back and forth to the lot. Overall the staff is great and they seem to care about their customers, just be careful about buying something used and definitely get it checked out by a trusted mechanic.

I finally own my first new car my family has had Subaru’s since I was a kid and I now own a 2021 Crosstrek Sport. Super Happy Fairfield Subaru made this experience pleasant. They’re always super helpful when I’m there. It’s been quite busy lately but they’re efficient in getting people checked in and assisting us with any questions. The staff kept a great attitude even though they were swamped and assisted me with my oil change/tire rotation. Lastly, the manager noticed a leaky battery and replaced it for free!

They are not honest! I went to check a 2010 Subaru Outback. Test drove it and brakes felt loose. I was told by an agent that it was because of the car sitting there too long. No other mechanical issues. Well I decided to come back the following day to take it to the mechanic before making any decision: radiator was leaking, engine was leaking, rotors were gone, timing belt hadn’t been replaced, and so on! They told me it was in great conditions! The radiator was new and still leaking! you could tell the previous one had exploded by looking at the hood.I thought I was in good hands but I will definitely buy a used Subaru at another Subaru dealer or from a private party.

Theyll tell you that they will call at the end of the week for an update of a refund but call never came. After 3 weeks and getting frustrated at the manager, they finally helped me. He said I remember telling you that it will take some time. And I told him that I remember him telling me he will call me at the end of the week. And started making excuses of how he cannot call everyone. THEN Dont tell people you will give them an update when you wont. He didnt even bother to apologize wow. Horrible.

I just purchased a Subaru here last weekend. I was happily surprised by my sales consultant, Larry Naples. He is not your stereotypical car salesman! Larry seems to know his product. Car shopping can be overwhelming. I did my homework before going in, so I knew which model I wanted. Still, I had to sort out new v. used and all of the different features available. Larry was friendly, patient and knowledgeable, but not pushy. He helped me identify which car best suited my needs and wants. I didnt feel pressured, and the best part is, I left there with the perfect Subaru for me! Thanks Larry!

Although we did not purchase a car yet, Larry was very informative and friendly when we asked questions. I didnt feel pushed to buy a car right at that time, but he helped me come up with a few good options. Planning to go there again soon and I definitely will want Larry helping us out again!:)
