Amazing service. It was nice to know that the technician (Eduardo) wanted to spend a little more time with the car to get to the bottom of my problem and to make sure it was safe to drive. Constant communication from them made everything even easier. Would I recommend this shop? In a heartbeat. You spend a lot of money buying an amazing car, they make sure it stays amazing. Very professional. My service person (Derrick) was knowledgeable and knew right away what I was reporting on my vehicle was a known issue and assured me they would do everything to make sure the vehicle was checked for optimal safety. He updated me several times and realized when the completion of the update was taking longer than expected. He secured me a loaner so I could stay on schedule for my kids.Everyone from service team to loaner desk to front desk to valet— very pleasant and polite.
It was a tire blowout that made me bring my car in to this dealership. They eventually found other things that needed fixing. Adam contacted me at every turn to update me and I felt he was very honest with me. I especially appreciated that he made me aware that my warranty is almost expiring. I had forgotten that and I would have paid a lot more money for all the work my car needed. The service was also quick, and other staff members were very nice and helpful as well. I have a dealership closer to my home but I will be going to the Fairfax location from now on. Five stars to Adam and this dealership!!!

She is meticulous in her attention to detail. She has EXCEPTIONAL people skills. She treats you more like family than a customer. My service advisor Dena is beyond amazing! She is the best there! She answers all my questions and always helps in anyway possible. Always updates me with how my car is going and when the work will be completed. Never never had a bad experience with her. Helped me with loaner issues and got me alternative transportation. She has helped me for years and she has never failed. If anyone needs help go talk to her! She will help you you! Just all around amazing! Very first appointment. Wanted to verify if I needed brakes all-around, as advised by another local BMW Dealer Service Department. I wasnt sure I was receiving accurate information. So made this appointment to check.Bottom line: Service Advisor said No brakes needed. Drive your car and enjoy. Based on this information it is definitely a solid 4.5 . There was no work performed on my car other than an inspection of the brakes and rotors. Accordingly, the Service Advisor particularly, gave me the confidence and the belief that my car will be in good hands. I will go back to them for service.
I’ve been coming to the service center in Fairfax for years. Last couple of visits, customer service has declined both in initial phone contact to make my appointment and when I’m dropping my vehicle off. I waited nearly ten minutes and was not seen in order of my arrival and I was literally the only person in the arrival bay. The one individual assigned to check in customers ignored me completely. There used to be plenty of employees available to help customers, but even if it was an off day, it costs nothing for an employee to acknowledge the presence of a customer. On a better note, my service advisor Adam was great. Too bad it takes two layers of poor customer service to get to him. Will take my car elsewhere to be serviced from now on. Plenty of BMW service centers in the area.

The Fairfax BMW service department is excellent. They are professional and friendly in their dealings with their customers - and are very knowledgable and adept at explaining the service being performed. I find BMW service somewhat pricey, but their work is outstanding.
BMW of Fairfax Service Center is very polite, professional and clean. Def would utilize their services again. However, the BMW X5 45e itself is a Death Trap. Forcing people to stay in the car with no Air at all. Menu options allow this feature to be disabled but the car ignores it and BMW NA says this is normal operation. This issue in time will cause someone to die or be seriously injured, if it hasnt already! Be Warned if you are looking to buy a BMW Plug In Hybrid vehicle.

Frankie the account rep was responsive. I was disappointed that even though I had a tire replaced, wheel alignment, and tire rotation completed NONE of the tires had the proper tire pressure. They werent even close...I verified them before I drove off the BMW lot.For a $2,700 bill I actually do expect a thorough job. Sorry, if your mechanics think I am expecting to much.

They couldnt reproduce the noise I had complained of. Not sure how thats possible since its quite audible and consistent. I was busy that day and didnt have time to debate with them further. Will be taking the car elsewhere next time. 3 stars for a good oil change though.
The only thing that you need to know is FRANKIE JOHNSON (service advisor) is THE reason why you should go to BMW of Fairfax Service Center. Not only is she just amazing, but she will ensure that your vehicle is serviced correctly and for the best price. Because of this, I now only go to BMW of Fairfax Service Center and other service center just simple do not come close to her speed and professionalism. This is the second BMW dealer I’ve tried for service around the Beltway, and I’ll be returning here for future service needs. Service advisor Warranty repair and recall work performed on time. Kevin provided stellar service. Very knowledgeable. Made sure my car was charged before I picked it up. Great communication, called me proactively. Made sure I had plenty of Uber credit to get to work & back and forth from home for the overnight repair. Car was much cleaner than I expected for washing/vacuuming after service. Great experience!
Could not recommend this place enough. Very professional, responsive, and transparent at each step in the process. My vehicle had a frustratingly elusive issue, that the technicians and team were able to hunt down and completely fix (mostly under warranty and with a slight discount for the wait, might I add!). Shea was my service advisor this time and he was phenomenal, Kevin helped me last time and he was great too! If you have a BMW and need any services performed, this is the spot.

Very good service, but ridiculous prices. Almost $900 for 3 hours of basic recommended services. Im sorry $200 labor to replace an air and cabin filter. Then $80 for shop supplies??? Cant even imagine the price to actually have something fixed or repaired. Everyone was super nice, but these prices do not make any sense.
Dena Van is an outstanding service representative for BMW. She described the work required in detail and made sure I was informed about the progress every step of the way. I would recommend BMW of Fairfax because the work has been good and I trust Dena Van.
Robert was very professional accepting my 2019 BMW X1 for the appointment. He fully explained which services were covered by my warranties. The loaner car was the same model, with only 5 miles on it!By 4 pm I had a full diagnostic report with costs. While I could approve online, the would improve I would offer is to separate warranty repair costs from the total cost. One text with Robert cleared that up. My car was ready by noon the next day, washed and vacuumed.BMWs aren’t cheap to operate, you know any bill for a shop visit probably starts at $500. But the work was done well, and car is running great!
The service is beyond comparison. Every question and concern I’ve had has always been attended to promptly. David McNeill, my service advisor, has far exceeded every expectation. His professionalism and thorough knowledge of my vehicle gives me confidence and assurance that my BMW is cared for. I strongly recommend David and BMW of Fairfax, you won’t find a better service center for your vehicle.
I had an unexpected time restraint with my last service appointment. I told my advisor, Dena Van, that I had forgotten about a memorial service for a friend that was taking place that morning. As always! Elena took care of me like I was the only customer. I visited the service center for a routine oil change and Elena was able to explain the services my car needed. I was also unaware of my safety inspection expiration and she noticed that and took care of it. When I arrived at the service center, it took less than a minute for someone to attend to me. Thank goodness for highly trained mechanics! Sure sometimes they inconveniently find things I would rather not have to deal with but this time their analysis just meant replacing a cheap part. I have come to trust this service department.
I scheduled a routine appointment for an oil change but was told my car requested ~$1,200 worth of additional services. After declining the additional services and charges I waited three hours for my car to simply have an oil change. I wasn’t given any updates on the status of the work from the advisor and finally had to ask the front desk to track down the status of my car.
Ive been bringing my cars to this service center for many years. My experience with them has consistently been within the good-outstanding range. All advisors are knowledgeable and professional, but I must single out Elena T. who is the absolute superstar! Keep up the great work!

Wow! This was a great experience. My first time here and it was a little weird just pulling in to make the garage door go up but other than...smooth. lol. Shea greeted me and was happy to hear me ramble on about my cars situation. I had scheduled ahead of time so a loaner vehicle was ready for me. They kept in touch via text while my car was there. I did something incredibly stupid and locked the keys in the loaner car...BMW came out and saved me. Also, any issues are immediately resolved, and by issues, some were clearly mine. Conrad and Shea were amazing. I dont know all the people in the background and I thank them too. Will not hesitate to return to receive service. Highly recommend!!!

Ive had a number of things pop up with my car and Karina has taken incredible care of me. She goes above and beyond to ensure Im back on the road asap. Honest, straightforward and communicative, what else could you want? I was a client of hers over at a different local BMW dealer prior to this, and now use Fairfax BMWs Service Center. Ive never even been tempted to change dealerships for a salesperson, but having a service advisor you can trust is priceless!
Brought the car in for regular scheduled maintenance with a few concerns. Derrick and the BMW Service Tech took good care of my vehicle and kept me updated throughout the entire wait.Waiting area have enough snacks and coffee to keep you sane and the ability to leave and come back if need be was not an issue if I had to venture off on my own.BMW Fairfax has yet to let me down.
I arrived for an oil change and to remove a tiny small dent. I also would like to add the service rep Karina did a good job to ensure my vehicle was serviced properly. I was told since my vehicle was purchased in Alexandria my paperwork was not in their system. I contacted the service center in Alexandria a service rep explained I have full coverage and the service rep needs to request a service claim on my behalf. I’ve contacted the service rep several times regarding the claim just going back and forth and still no resolution. However, I think the contract of having coverage with Assurant is extremely backed up and the process to start a claim takes too long.The waiting room is clean, with delicious coffees, and snacks.
This was the first time I brought my car to the dealership, and while it definitely cost a lot, their customer service was superb and worth the cost. Unlike other mechanics Ive used, I know exactly what I am getting done, exactly what it costs, and I dont feel taken advantage of or in the dark about whether I am getting value for my money. Also, they assured me that they stand by their work. The one downside was that they were a bit delayed finishing my car because of some sort of backload. However, my agent and his assistant were very apologetic and kept me in the loop the entire time.

Went in for an early low-oil light concern; came out with a $1800 bill for replacing a valve cover that wasnt necessary. I dont mind the prices either, I understand the premium, but it was the lack of transparency and hard-stance sales tactics used. The service rep didnt even sound like he knew what the technician was recommending or why my low oil light was triggering. Someday Ill learn my lesson and find an honest local mechanic instead of this place......smh.
I recently purchased a BMW 3 series from BMW of Fairfax. They were recommended to me by a friend and also from TrueCar. Neils was my salesman and he took me on a test drive to see which model I liked best. He was patient and answered all my questions. He knew and understood that the market is terrible for buying a car right now due to low inventory and chip shortages, but still Neils helped me to get the best deal I could find. I will be continuing business with BMW of Fairfax .
I was out of town and had low tire pressure. It turned out that I had a bolt puncture my tire. It was mid-afternoon on Saturday before the holiday on Monday. I called the dealership and they instructed me to come in immediately and they would fit me in. When I arrived they were super busy! The valet and service advisor were very professional and very kind and assured me I would be taken care of. I had a nice experience at BMW of Fairfax. Thank you.

I needed a state inspection on my older model 435i and was debating between going to a nearby gas station or driving a little further away to BMW of Fairfax. I’m so glad I chose to go to BMW of Fairfax Service Center! The place was crowded and I was told by Karina Gonzalez that it may take 2 hours. Ugh! But, I would rather wait in the comfortable waiting area there with A/C, drinks, snacks, and a tv than at a gas station. Karina took great care of me. I was out in less than an hour. Not only was a state inspection done, but my car was vacuumed and washed, and they topped off my fluids and checked my tires. You don’t get that extra service for free at a gas station!

I purchased a new car. For the past six years, I have been driving a Mercedes and the Sales professional--Brian (ask for him by name) was highly knowledgeable about the vehicle that he showed me and I test drove. He was honest and had my best interest in mind when making recommendations. I ended up ordering a car since one was not available on the lot. Had to wait a bit, but the car came in a whole month early!! He got me a fair deal including a few extras.The vehicle was ready for me to pick up on the day promised with only 5 miles on the odometer (newest car, I have ever bought) and going through financing was extremely professional, quick and easy. Brian then took the time to show me all the options (there are a lot) on the new car--most importantly safety configurations, synchronization with my phone and personalizations just for me.I live in Potomac, but went to Fairfax BMW because of Brian and his professionalism. The salesperson at Rockville BMW didnt even bother calling or checking back with me, even though I visited the dealership twice and expressed my interest.I would go back and purchase from Brian and Fairfax BMW anytime and would highly recommend him.

I was skeptical with my previous visits and was a bit uncomfortable. But this visit was different. I worked with Robert Curry in service. He was very professional, very detailed, he even told me what to expect ahead with the time line of my vehicle. He took his time and made sure he was correct with the questions I asked. The fact is, he is the man!

I have been working with one of the Service Advisors Shea while my BMW is being serviced on for the last week or so. Throughout the entire process Sheas communication was outstanding and was also understanding when a family emergency came about to put the service on hold and restart it when I return. I know he is doing his job, but the stress he had relieved me of to be able to get back home was greatly appreciated.

The experience was textbook perfect starting with my phone request for an appointment. Once there i was greeted by Danika Edwards who listened to my request, and suggested several other services . The work was completed several hours later and all is well.
Pulled up to my appt. on time on 8/31/21 and they took my M235i back right away to get the oil change done, while I was there they checked my backseat seatbelts for a recent recall. Robert Curry helped me throughout my visit. He was so easy to talk to and made everything go swiftly. 10/10 service from him ! After I had gotten my car back my digital dash had a unfamiliar screen on it and I wasnt sure how to fix it, so I drove back and went to ask Mr. Curry to have one of the service men fix it, he said he could take a look at it and he just pushed a button and changed it right then and there! thank you so much again ! - April

THEY WATER DAMAGED MY CAR! I took my car to get a brake fluid flush. They said they would take care of some recalls and that I should leave the car with them. It took them longer than they promised to get it repaired. When I went to pick it, paid my service and waited for 20 minutes, one of their managers came out and told me it would take them some more time to get my car because there was water inside and they were vacuuming it.They accepted no responsibility for it and on top of that offered to do a water check service for $200 + wherever they can make up to say that something is wrong with my car. They probably left the windows open during a thunderstorm.Just know that if something happens to your car while under their care, they will accept no responsibility whatsoever. Be warned...

On my bill I noticed a list of services that were never offered. Oddly the list was under the heading of Suggested & Declined. I wrote back to the service writer but have yet to receive any response. below is my return emailDear Karina:I was impressed by the level of service provided by BMW of Fairfax but noticed on the bill that there were additional options that you never mentioned?!! I am sad that I was not given the opportunity to receive the VIP Detail listed in the “Suggested & Declined” column ?!The wiper blades need to be replaced and I Love RainX products. In our very nice conversation I did mention that I had put some serious miles on the car in recent months so the tires sure could use rotating and I am wondering why this service was not recommended by you or any of the staff .I was glad that the service did not take the 2.5 hours you estimated but I would have been willing to wait so that the service needed was complete.I hope we can communicate better if I have my car serviced at your facility in the future.Have a nice weekend. Brian at BMW helped us get our new x4! The inventory issue had us ready to give up when Brian and his team came through to help us secure a brand new 2022 fully customized car. Brian is a bmw expert, he’s knowledgeable, friendly and reasonable. The entire staff was very professional and we felt comfortable during the entire buying experience. Right now with the shortage of vehicles, other dealerships are being dismissive, rude and cocky. BMW Fairfax is a class act and doesn’t treat their buyers any differently just because they have “the upper hand.”We are former Mercedes owners and we are never going back! Thanks to Brian, his GM and the finance team for working with us to get us the best deal.

I went to BMW of Fairfax to get my tires checked out because they were losing air repeatedly for a few weeks when I drove. Told them to check for the usual culprits (nails). They replaced a problem rim but insisted the other tires were fine. After 3 days I picked up the car and within 10 minutes of driving the TPM went off on the 3 problem tires and alerted me to low pressure. I took it elsewhere immediately and they found nails in 2 tires and a puncture in another tire. This is the third bad experience at this dealership and I have had it. Will never go here again.

I took my BMW X1 to the service center on a Friday for routine maintenance and to have the two rear tires replaced. After returning to the center and picking up my vehicle, the tire pressure monitoring (TPM) system showed that the right rear tire - one of the new tires - was underinflated. This happened before I even left the facility. I thought it was just a case of the tech needing to reset the TPM system. The service advisor took the vehicle for a short drive to reset the TPM and when i re-received the vehicle, i made it home without issue. When I got back in the vehicle a few hours later, the TPM system kicked on again.So after the weekend, I took the vehicle back to the service center. It took 2-and-a-half hours for the techs to discover the issue wasnt the TPM; rather, it was a cracked valve stem. I repeat 2.5 hours to discover a leak, a leak that caused the tire to lose a third of its pressure in an hour.This experience does not inspire confidence if I need to go back to the center for an issue that is more serious or complicated.
Car was dropped by towing company. They performed the work and deliver the car on same day to my satisfaction.

When you have a BMW type car that runs on gasoline, this is where you go to wait for 1-2 hours while they change the liquids and do other kinds of periodic maintenance. It is a nice lobby with snacks, televisions, leather chairs, and BMW sch-wag but I suspect these kinds of establishments will very soon be a thing of the past.
