We called AA RAPID at 2:35am with a broken water heater that was gushing water all over our basement. Cesar from AA RAPID came 45 minutes later and saved our basement. Cesar was knowledgeable, professional, resourceful, extremely helpful and kind. We are very thankful.

I called AARapid Plumbing @ 6:00pm off the web looking for a 24 hour technician, I had no water at the house. Carlos answered and told me a Tech would be on site in 3 hours or less. I got a call 2 hours later letting me know he was 10 min. away. The Tech Cesar diagnosed and corrected the problem in less than 15 min. Great Service !!! 5 stars all the way, would use AARapid again every time.

AA Rapid is excellent! I love their fast service and professionalism! The company sent Cesar to fix my water pipe and he was able to quickly diagnose the issue and gives a lot of great tips and information regarding the situation. Ceasar was prompt and extremely thorough in evaluating and servicing my A/C unit which had no cold air coming through air vents. He added refrigerant but also gave me an assessment of my issue and what to do going forward. Great experience! Cesar was such a nice dude, and explained everything he was doing so I could learn as a new homeowner. The appointment took a long time because of the nature of the issue, but he was so friendly, that it was fun to just spend an afternoon hanging out with him. He got my AC working on a hot day, and was able to find a very obscure part for my leaking bathtub faucet which saved me a ton of money. My only gripe was that they were a little late to show up and the communication before he got here was a little lacking to let me know he was running late, but it ended up working out. Will definitely use these guys again!

My house felt like an oven, the thermostat jump from 70 degrees to 85 degrees with in a couple of hours. Call several companies at 7 pm no one answer. Call AA Rapid, and a friendly voice answer. They dispatch a tech, name Cesar with in an hour. Cesar is great. He is very professional, gets the job done quickly and cleanly. We have had two major plumbing projects in our 1950s house and have used AA Rapid and Cesar for both. In the first project, he worked with us finding a solution because we didnt want to drill into the foundation. And when we asked about using 3 inch pipe so that it could be added to in the future he was accommodating. We highly recommend AA Rapid.

The day before a snowstorm was predicted the main water cut-off valve in my townhouse started leaking (a lot). It was late morning when I called AA Rapid Plumbing with my issue. The staff on the phone were great and were able to re-arrange the schedule so that they could send me a plumber by 14:30 hrs. The plumber (Caesar) came on time and was extremely professional, while also helping to reduce my stress level. After the utility was able to cut off the water from the street, Caesar went right to work. He made, and tested, the repair in less than an hour. Everything was explained to me in clear and accurate terms before any work was done. Cold snap came hard this past winter and my furnace went kaput. RAPID was able to come out on Monday to check it out and provide me with a few options available. The furnace was well beyond its useful life, and the parts plus 4 days in a hotel room as I waited for it to get shipped would have cost me the same as a new furnace. These guys were able to get me a new furnace and install it that same day for a fair and reasonable price. Carlos stayed until 10 that night to make sure it was working well enough to keep my house and family warm, and finished up the next day. Fast forward to today. AC went today. Rapid came over and fixed it at no charge. This unit is original with the house, so I know I will need to get a new one. Hoping to get through this season, but when it comes time I am going to use Rapid no questions asked. I am very thankful to them and would recommend them to anyone who has problems.

The contractor did a nice job in fixing my leaking shower faucet in time. The estimate was reasonable. Scheduled an appointment for 10:30 am, and they came right on the dot. Ceasar made the diagnosis and provided honest recommendations. I thought I needed duct cleaning. He pointed out that only the vents are dirty, but the ducts are clean. That saved me a good amount. He also suggested using gravel around the condenser unit to keep mud out of the coil during heavy rain. His coil cleaning price is also reasonable. Overall, very attentive to details and very courteous. Will use them again.One suggestion to the owner: please clean out the voicemail inbox so customers can leave messages. It could be frustrating when no one is picking up the phone and no way to leave a voicemail.

Excellent service. We had an unidentifiable leak under an upstairs carpet. They came within 45 minutes as promised (gave all fees up front on the phone for same day service and all other service fees upon arrival and assessment). Great Service! Had a broken PVC pipe (may have been my fault). Luckily I was able to get the water turned off before too much damage occurred. I called around 730 pm for an after hours fix and they dispatched a technician that was very friendly and helpful. Straight forward good service.During the last days of summer my house air conditioning system was just blowing hot air. My neighbor across the street refer me to Rapid Plumbing, heating. He told me, that they are near Oakton, in the border line with Fairfax. Sure enough I call them around 2 pm and by 4 pm Cesar the technian was taking my outside unit apart.The outside unit needed freon gas, they recharge it and my house started to gradually cool down.First of all will like to thanks my neighbor for referring Rapid and second Rapid for coming out and rescuing my family from the heat.

Thank you to AA Rapid and Caesar for fixing our AC on this rainy, humid Saturday evening. The dispatcher suggested we pay the extra $50 to have it serviced on Saturday since they were booked on Monday. We had air circulating but it was not cool so we chose not to wait knowing more hot, humid weather was coming. Caesar replaced our evaporator fan and capacitor after finding water in the fan motor (the last technician apparently left a drain cap on so the water could not drain out). Caesar and my husband had a good time diagnosing the problem (and talking about a lot of other things). The water probably shorted out our fan motor and blew (literally) the capacitor. Caesar freely discussed the current problem and other issues with our aging AC. We appreciated that he was constantly working and his candidness.

I just had rapid out today to fix my AC unit. It is a Sunday they got to my house in Vienna in less the two hours and got me up and running. Great company great service!

Cesar came out twice this week to fix plumbing from a botched contractor job. He was able to help us the same day and re-did plumbing for a new shower and re-did the drain of a new tub. We can now start putting together our bathroom and tiling without worrying about leaks. Cesar is very professional, he really knows what he is doing, and he does high quality work.

It was one of the worst experiences we have ever encountered. They fixed our plumbing problem and we were left satisfied. Within a month, the plumbing problem was back. Called the company back several times until they picked up. They asked us if we had warranty, which was odd. Its their company so they should be aware of their warranty policy and have our records on file. They said they would call back within minutes to let us know when they were available to come fix the problem again. They never called back. Once again we called the company back after a few hours and no one ever picked up. Very unprofessional and irresponsible.We had to call Michael & Son Services which was completely the opposite of this company. They were professional, courteous, considerate and stick to their satisfaction guaranteed policy. We had a problem with a water leakage and we called Michael & Sons again, they pulled up our file and asked us if the plumbing problem had gone away since the last time they had fixed it. They assured us that if it was to ever come back, we could just call them within the warranty period.Lesson learned, never call this company ever again. They dont stick to their warranty policies and seem to not care about whether they do a good job or not. And when they dont do their work the right way, they dont care to fix it like most companies do.

Disappointed. Im a dental office manager and when I made an appointment with them the guy I talked to said they could come out to the office at 7:00 am before we opened at 8:00 am. I got to the office at 6:45 am to wait for them, then at 7:38 am I get a call saying they are running late and wont be able for make it for another 45 minutes to an hour. Frustrated but considering I still needed the service I said OK. Well then comes 9:20 am and still no one showed up or called. At this point I contacted them to cancel the appointment. I was told they were 5 minutes away but I was too fed up at this point. The person I talked to said his guy was lost, dont get me wrong I understand people get lost but to me lost is 10-20 minutes late, not two and a half hours. If you are that lost you should call the client and ask for directional help.

**PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE CALLING AA RAPID**Im going to be as detailed as possible because I feel it is my civic duty to warn people about this place and not be swindled out of your hard earned money.My AC recently went out and I noticed the fan on the exterior unit wasnt working. After searching online I ran across AA Rapid and it had pretty good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I scheduled a appointment for the next day, was given a time window of 8AM-830AM and told there would be a 65 dollar service fee that would be included in the price if I decide to use their services.The next day comes and Im waiting for the service guy. 845AM rolls around and I get a call, sorry but our tech is running late hell be there in 45 min. Ok I guess I need to call work now to tell them Ill be late. 9:45 rolls around and I get a call asking for my address again and that the tech will be there in 15 min. 10:15AM comes and he finally shows up. Im not very happy at this point but I want to resolve my AC issues.I showed Cesar to my backyard and he told me to turn on my AC, the fan is still not working. He takes my unit apart and he looks at the fan. He warns me that he sees a little oil on top of the motor so that could be the problem. He then proceeds to meter my capacitor to make sure it is working and to confirm if the motor is indeed done and needs to be replaced. He showed me that the capacitor is showing 240 volts so the motor definitely is the issue. I was quoted $250 dollars for the fan motor and $400 for labor, totaling $650.I had watched a few YouTube videos on AC fixes and nothing I saw looked like $400 worth of labor so I was thrown back a little by that amount. In my head I calculated 30 min of work to change out a fan at $400. That is a labor rate of $800/HR, lawyers dont even charge that much and they are the biggest swindlers of all. I told Cesar Id have to think about it and I used my phone to Google the price to change a fan and nothing came up to $650. So I told him I wasnt going to do it and Ill just pay the service fee today. He asked if I was sure and said ok itll be $79 for the fee, Ill go outside and clean up. Please notice I was told $65 on the phone the day before. I tell Cesar this and he responded $79 is what weve been charging this summer. During his clean up he kept feeding me lines about denying the service, are you sure its really hot now, Im just trying to look out for you. I paid the $79 and he left.I found out that one of my friends works as a AC repair man so I took pictures of my units internals and sent it to him for some insight. I told him that my fan motor needed to be replaced. After he looked at the pictures he told me that he didnt think it was my motor but my capacitor that needed to be replaced. I asked how to test a capacitor to see if it was working and it was definitely not what I witnessed Ceser doing when he tested it. A capacitor is a way less expensive fix than a fan motor. Also being advised by my friend that I could do the job myself I purchased a new capacitor and installed it the same day, it took 15 min. My AC started right up and is now back in working order, the fan motor is perfectly fine. Also when I was doing the work myself I noticed Cesar did not put my unit back properly. There were 6 screws missing (why would you take my screws???) and the panels were not put back correctly.So to conclude, I paid $79 to wait 2 extra hours for Ceser to come to my house, take apart my AC unit, con me into fixing something that wasnt broken, steal the screws to my AC unit and didnt put it back together properly.**PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY**

Was replacing a water pressure reducing valve (PRV) on my own yesterday, and everything went well, until I had to remove the old union locking nut assembly from the existing PRV. Would not come off no matter how much strength I tried. At 9:30 at night, decided to give AARapid a call, and they said it was possible to send a technician over within 1 to 1.5 hours. Technician did arrive a little bit later closer to 11:00PM, but it was pretty dark outside. The technicians name was Cesar, saw my problem, and suggested a method to pry off the existing fitting. Luckily for me, Cesar was able to pry off the existing fitting with a pair of pliers/wrenches and a really big torch. I enjoy DIY wherever possible, but I dont think I wouldve had the muscle to do what Cesar did. Cesar then proceeded to to attach a new fitting, along with the new union locking mechanism, and finally, the connection to the new water PRV was complete. Turned the water back on and no leaks. Cesar did very good work, and the price was very competitive, minus the emergency fee (it was late, so I understand the need for the emergency fee). All in all, it only took Cesar about an hour or so to complete the job.If I had to make one complaint, its that after Cesar had soldered on the new fitting and union assembly, he left the old locking still attached at the very bottom of my water pipe! Yes, It probably wont harm anything, but it is still a huge eyesore to see the useless extra locking nut still there, which is what was caused me to call a plumber in the first place.
