Well, I finally switched carriers after a long drawn out 10+ years and them trying to work with me through everything to stay.I couldn’t handle the no service that I was receiving. You get what you pay for I guess.Mitch, a wonderful customer service manager at Verizon, walked me through the whole switch to Verizon. I am absolutely in love so far. Horrible experience. Condescending and aggressive attitudes. The main person in charge can’t take no for an answer. I said no a million times. Respect my answer even if it isn’t what you agree with. My family wanted to upgrade one phone, not the rest of the line. I’m not sure what was so hard to understand about that. My elderly mother who speaks little English asked me to translate what they were saying and the two employees literally stormed out of the room with such an aggressive manner. I’m not sure if diversity training is implemented in Verizon’s training but it seems to need to be. We were later told by the main person, “I can’t wait until we’re done with this transaction.” We’ve been loyal Verizon customers for 18 years. We are going to switch. This was just out of line.Mitch, however, was great. He was really helpful. He was the only patient and kind service representative. Thank you Mitch.
