Friendly employees, work that was completed was exceptional. The only thing I would make sure when using this company is make sure every job you want completed by them ensure they break down everything on your invoice. Cutting down a tree does not include stump removal. I would not recommend!

We had 5 huge spruce trees that had to come down due to an ant problem. All were very close to our house. Jon and another gentleman came and set up the boom rig and were cutting trees in minutes. Jon has some serious hand eye coordination! Definitely would recommend them.

In mid May, 2020 we had an emergency situation with a 60+ foot tree that had cracked at the base, and was leaning toward the house. If the tree were to fall on the house the damage would have been significant.I made a call to Fairbanks Stump Grinders and within twenty minutes they had someone at my house to look at the situation. He called in the crane truck which showed up in another twenty. The three guys from Stump Grinders moved more like a SWAT team than a company that provides tree service. I called this evening for help on removal of hard pack snow as our road was a mess.They answered promptly and gave me a slot for the next day.My friends ending up performing the job the same night before Stump Grinders could get there but I appreciated their quick response and great attitude. I heard from others that they did a good job and fully anticipated that they would follow through as requested if needed.

The service Fairbanks stump grinders provided me was amazing. I had a hundred foot spruce tree with a crack and rotten roots leaning toward my home and it looked like it was going to fall at any minute. When the wind blew the crack in the tree would expand and contract it looked like the tree was breathing. I called them after hours in a panic and they came over with their crane truck a within a half hour and took care of it. There was only 10% of that tree keeping the rest of it up! Not only did they do that, but Jon inspected several the trees around my home and found six others that had similar issues. Since theres a 2-hour fixed rate for the crane truck he made sure that he used the entire 2 hours to cut down the remaining six trees at no additional charge. Jon and his crew very friendly, personable, and safe. They let me watch the whole process and kept me well informed. I highly recommend Fairbanks stump grinders.

They did an awesome job with hard pack removal. They have also been the only ones to actually come and do the job on our crazy steap driveway, we have tried over ten individuals over 5 years and no one would touch our driveway. These guys just removed 6 birch trees from my backyard. The were very efficient and professional. They performed the work safely and worked as a well oiled machine.

Amazing job today by Fairbanks Stump Grinders. 10 stumps - 7 spruce and 3 birch. Completely obliterated in under an hour for a very reasonable price. We were blown away when we got home. We actually have a front yard now. We cut down 7 70 spruce during the early snow storm last Nov. and we had stumps, some of which were 3-4 tall. We got home and there was no sign of them and they didnt charge us any extra. Honest company, great customer service and prompt. I highly recommend you hire them. Cant recommend them enough in fact and I dont even know them....

Jon and his crew did a fantastic job removing my birch trees. By far the best tree service company Ive dealt with. I had another tree removal service come out a few years back and all I can say is it was a night and day difference. They got rid of all the tree stumps as well and did it all in a very fast time. Called to inquire about rates for residential hard pack removal. The initial response was, Sure, we can do that. Whats your address? I gave him the address and he asked, Wheres that located? I told him, Chena Ridge. and the response was, My equipments broke. and he immediately hung up. If you dont want the job, just say so, dont suddenly have destination based equipment failure. Now Im left assuming you dont take care of your equipment and Im better off going with someone else for the trees I wanted removed from my property this summer.
