I was Helped by Darla! I lost my registration and she was so kind and honestly pretty fast. There was a long line when I showed up but to moved very quickly. I couldn’t have been waiting longer than 15 minutes before Darla called me to her window. This was my first time at the UMV and I’m impressed

Needed to get my real I.D. Decided to go to UMV and the atmosphere alone gave me a good vibe. Line looked long but I was in and out in 10 min. Manager helped me and even sang to my kids to keep them entertained as I was doing paperwork. Great experience and will always use this place.

We have a decent sized fleet of work trucks. When the time comes to renew tags or we need anything done, UMV saves us time handling our issues. They have always been very friendly (something you won’t find at the DMV) and very efficient (something you DEFINITELY won’t find at the DMV), which saves us a lot of time and headaches

This place was great! I went there for a first time registration and title and it was so easy and the line went fast. Went to the DMV first to discover an appointment was needed and they didnt have any for over a week. Worth the fees and will go back to transfer a license next, rather than trying to get a DMV appointment.

MAY 2021 - Just heard they updated the prices. So, the picture of fees is now outdated.NOV 2020 - Went in this afternoon with my Mom. She had to get a few things done. There wasnt a line so there was no wait time. The lady that we saw was really nice and patient. It was definitely a great experience. We were able to come in, do what we needed and be on our way.

In and out service for three titles saved up over the last year. When there was a question about a signature on one title signed by the seller in the buyer section, there was a discrepancy, the associate cross checked the signature and determined that the seller did in fact sign the doc, just in wrong place. Ive had Title Woes Before and would have to hunt for docs and come back which sucks. Leave it to the experts and go with UMV. Line out the door, totally worth it!

I needed to do some title and registration work on a vehicle. It was accomplished in like 20 total minutes including waiting my turn for a reasonable fee. I will definitely be heading here for DMV business in the future. If the actual DMV was like this, there would be no complaints about going to the DMV.

Would not accept my Colorado marriage license that I’ve used to obtain a passport, social security card and Alaska teaching certificate. They told me they have “higher security standards”. They said they could issue me an ID with my maiden name I’d I wanted. Ridiculous.

Went in to get drivers licence renew. Waited in line for almost 15 minutes. Upon reaching the front of the line it seems that people that walk in and just start talking at the window get the service. This happened 2 times and on the 3rd time i did say something to the person at the window and she stated that it was her kid and that she did not care. At that time i just left. it is nice to see that a business does not care about a customer that has been waiting and will just do as they please. I will never do any business with these people ever again and will pass this on to others. DMV is a lot better at customer service thank this place.

Stood in line for 20 minutes, they only had 1 other person being helped. Was told at 5:20 that i would have to come back another time. They close at 5:30 why couldnt i be helped if the.other workers were not busy? Because they cant be troubled with helping a customer. Lost my business.

Was able to renew my commercial registration over the phone, and the customer service rep, Napua, waited patiently while I compiled the documents she needed. Even followed up with a return phone call to complete the process. Finally, real customer service!

I went to the Fairbanks UMV today with the intent to change a title into my name for a vehicle I purchased. I was able to accomplish that in a very timely manner and with excellent customer service. I was not planning on being able to get my AK drivers license today though and asked about it on a whim. My AK drivers license expired while I was overseas and I ended up having to get one from Texas. I was able to effortlessly make the switch back to AK and I left as one very satisfied customer. What a phenomenal service! Id been putting these 2 things off for months because I didnt want to get off work early and make the DMV dredge. This place is open even on Saturday until 6pm!!! Highly recommend :)

Can be a little pricier than the DMV, but the customer service is outstanding. Haley was incredibly helpful with helping me get my real ID set up. And the few other times Ive gone in the service is always on point!

I would give this zero stars if I could. I went in and made an appointment for fingerprints a week in advance. My husband and I showed up that day 10 min prior to the apt and we waited and waited and then we got the paperwork we needed to fill out. Then had to wait some moreIt’s not a smoothly ran business at all. I understand they get busy but when people make an appointment and have to get back to work it’s ridiculous to have to wait an hour from start to finish

The people were kind, funny, & helpful. You can get finger prints taken here and documents notarized. If you need prints be sure to call in and make an appt. They only take them on certain days.

Hi I just move from from Houston Texas to Alaska Fairbanks I like this place the customer service is very good they help me finding my paperwork and process my driver license fast Best customer service

First day wasnt bad but had to return as needed to retake one of the written test, didnt mind that as maybe should have read the book.However, when I returned the next day, they did not set me up for the right test even though I had presented the printout from the test the day before. Unfortunately, because of thier error, now I have to wait till tomorrow to retest. 😨😨😨😨😨😨. Sure is a long drive for their error and it will cost an extra 40.00 on top of the license fee. Maybe on should try DMV instead, if nothing else, would be cheaper.

Thanks to Myriah in mailing, you guys lost a customer. Current Army regulation requires me change my LES to whatever state I am serving in. Law states I can register my vehicle and dont have to change my DL or ID to that state but can keep my home of residence as my place of residence. when I talked to DMV they said I could keep my residence and get my vehicle done. My hope was to get t his done quick. thanks for nothing.
