Don’t approach them for any rental related inquiries, their listings are trash and the landlords they connect you with are horrible

I made an online purchase. I never received a confirmation by email. None of the numbers in FB and on your page are available your Realty is confusing. I think I lost my money. If you are going to make a purchase with them online please be careful.

The first was a studio, then I got engaged and my fiance and I used it again to find a house to rent.I remember things did not stay listed for long. You have to know what you want and be ready to jump on it.

6 weeks ago I moved into 112 Gregory ave. Passaic NJ to have it all lost to a fire this past Saturday 4/15/17. I spoke to Linda who is a broker and they are not going to charge me a fee due to my loss. Very Generous. Awesome customer service. Highly recommend.

I have been using Home Hunters since the early 90s when I rented my first apartment and have referred many people there over the years. I just signed up again last week and already signed a new lease. After reading a few negative reviews I was wondering what people really expected for $150. These are listings that are normally charged a whole months rent on. The whole reasoning behind a 4 month service is because it might take a few weeks not everyone is as fortunate as myself to find a place in two days but it definitely NOT A SCAM and I would recommend to anyone that has some time to look.

They are NOT NOT NOT a scam! they give you a lot of listings and it is up to you to call the places. they will help you with what ever you need, and they are in-expensive. i forgot to freeze my account and they gave me another three months. if i need to look again, i will be using them.

I had a bad experience with Homehunters. Most of the homes that they gave us were filled and they didnt remove the listings. Also alot of they listings come from Craigslist.

Dont even waste your time. This is biggest scam to date. They take your money tell you they are here to help you find a place. Once they get your money your on your own. All the listings are bullshit, rented or occupied. The guy i spoke to wont even answer my calls anymore. I had my account for over 6 days and still no new listing. Its all a lie. This guy wants ur money and doest care if u find a place. I been trying to contact them for over 4 days and still no answer save ur time and money its a scam and i will dispute this thur my bank to get my refund.

I didnt know what to expect when I entered Home Hunters because I had seen the ads on Craigslist and thought they were a scam. I was immediately welcomed by Mark and explained that I had signed a lease but had 2 days to get out of it after being poorly treated by the real estate agent that I paid $1300 to. Mark offered to help me find some apartments and offered to partially refund the cost of the service if I decided to stay with the lease I had signed. They have been in business for 25 plus years and are definitely NOT a scam! They are a perfect company for people that dont have extra money for the realtor fee, and dont mind making some calls and setting up appointments to view the apartments. Well worth the fee they charge for the savings on the realtor fee.

I registered for Home Hunters service because so many listings I found on Craigslist were through their service. I also saw a lot of their listings on Trulia as well. I did a google search and read positive reviews and negative reviews but the negative ones I felt were just the particular peoples experiences (nothing personal) and that no service will always satisfy people. I also saw they were in business for 25. Everything seemed legitimate so, I bit the bullet and signed up. I knew the areas I was looking in was limited but since I found so many on Trulia and Craigslist, I felt there was enough to warrant me signing up with them. Well, almost half of the listings I received have already been filled. I read that in previous reviews but I thought that maybe in a few days it would be updated... well 2 weeks later, I still see them listed. One man I spoke to told me it was filled over 2 months ago! It made no sense to me because it said it was just listed a few weeks ago. The other rentals I saw, never returned my phone calls and I realize that could be the people as well but it is very frustrating when you spend that kind of money and do not make any head way. New listings are added but I am lucky to see one new one added every 3 days or so. Again, I realize it could be the area in which I am looking. The other frustrating thing is that every time you need change your criteria they say you can email them but good luck getting a response. I had to call in order to add the cities and criteria I selected. Plus, I was actually able to register without even inputing a password! That should have been a clue but I was so desperate that I overlooked it. I wish I never spent the money. No, they are NOT a sam but in my opinion, their service has been useless. I cant get my money back but at least if I can prevent someone else from making the same mistake, it would be worth it.

This is a scam. All they do is grab a bunch of listings from newspapers and websites, throw them on their list, and never update them. Youll find one after another listing on Craigslist and Zillow that is only responded to with, Check out our listing service with no additional realtor fees! Yeah, except the $200 they want before theyll even give you information about the listing. STAY AWAY and FLAG any ads you find that they respond to.
