Starting with the good... customer Service was friendly. Pick up and drop off were very easy. Jacob was a nice enough guy. The cars exterior was very dirty, like it was just dropped off without time to deal with it. But it was a nice car and the interior was mostly (not thoroughly) cleaned. But none of that was an issue, really.I prepaid $44 for E-Toll Unlimited as I was using the car as a commuter while mine was in the shop, and I take several toll lanes per day, and I didnt want to pay their higher rates and fees. Well, almost two weeks after I dropped off the car, I noticed charges from etoll on my card. ☹ $30 individual charges for daily tolls and fees from the company. I called the number and they said my contract didnt show toll coverage. I told them I had my receipt and confirmation email as proof and I emailed it to them. They just flat out denied that it was paid for, 🤥 even though what I sent them showed E-Toll Unlimited $44 paid. I was called a liar, and told quite rudely there was nothing they could do. 🤬I called the Everett Budget where I rented the car and the manager on duty told me that my confirmation number shows clearly, that I did indeed pay for the toll coverage, but it didnt get put on my contract before it was sent to E Toll meaning they didnt know what I paid for. Since it had been a couple of weeks, there was nothing he could do, and I would have to call Budgets 800# and ask them for help. 🤪Two days, 4 emails, 3 phone calls with 15 minute hold wait times each... and I finally got somebody on the phone capable of handling the situation THEY created. Charges were reversed and I was ensured that no more toll fees would be incurred. I kept the case # and I will be paying close attention to my bank account, as they have demonstrated their assurances are not to be trusted 100%.After all this, the right thing to do to potentially keep a customer and just to make things right, would have been to offer me a voucher or a coupon for future services. I mean, I spent several hours over three days dealing with a mistake created by them and their systems failure and inability to fix the problem quickly and professionally. And instead of trying to make me happy, in the end, I was told thanks for choosing Budget, goodbye. Well, for this reason, I will never choose budget again. And if you do choose to choose them... tred lightly, keep your paperwork, and pay attention to the charges. Buyer beware.

I wouldn’t even give a 1 star. Vehicle had offensive odor smelled like something had died. The vehicle I was put in was not vehicle I had prepaid for. I was told it was upgrade. It was definitely a downgrade . My clothing and purse still smells like this car. Disgusting experience. I told 2 employees upon returning vehicle and they had nothing to say. I won’t be returning .

Booked a van for my family to drive back to California weeks in advanced. Yet when I got there they gave there last van to someone else. Even though I literally called the night before and they told me it would be there. End up with a bigger car that took more gas then the van and was told that was my only option,Since I had to leave the next day to return back home/ work. Never will use them again. Terrible customer service. Felt like they did even try to help at all. Was a take it or leave it attitude.
I was actually surprised at the efficient service I received. I had prepaid with a debit card as I dont own a credit card. The young man behind the counter let me know right away about a soft credit check, and had my contract right away to sign when the credit check was done. The vehicle was ready, full of gas, clean. It was a very positive experience.

The lady with curly hair who helped me had a very strong rude attitude like I was wasting her time when all I wanted was to pick up a pre ordered car I reserved online. She didn’t say anything particularly rude to me she just had an angry attitude the whole time like she was tired or frustrated with her job. I get that people have off days but this is the second time I’ve rented from this place and received a similar vibe from her. It really makes me feel like a bother instead of a paying customer.
Dropping off my car yesterday I was 30 minutes late due to traffic. Bummed. Went in today & they only charged for the one day I had rented the vehicle. Good people & will continue to do business with in the future! Thanks
This location should be shut down. We had no idea how horrible the area has become. Junkies, homeless vagrants all over it was horrid. We dont know how your employees can safely go to work, its that bad!

Every single time I rented from this place they didnt have the car or truck I reserved available even if the reservation was made weeks ahead of time. Every single time they have lots of excuses. Some time they come up with something and you endup getting some vehicle but not what you reserved. Their moving trucks are in horrible condition. Last time I rented a moving truck, reservation was done 4 weeks in advance, but when I arrived they said they didnt have anything available. They even had 2 trucks parked in their yard and when I asked about those 2 trucks I was told that the trucks are reserved for other clients that paid much more than what I paid for my reservation. Then I was advised to go and try at uhaul. Very unprofessional. I am done with this place forever.
The young lady that leased the vehicle to me was quick and kind. However i did receive a $18.36 charge and I dont know why, I returned the vehicle on time, gased properly, and 3 days later, my bank statement alerts me of this charge. Please explain????

Quick and easy return of my rental.
Budget Rental put us in horrible situations and a huge financial burden. We reserved a truck 1 month prior to our moving date. They informed us we could pick up the truck in the morning of our moving day. However, the day of moving we were told notified our truck would not be ready until noon. Unfortunate, but we understood. We realized we’d just be time crunched and nothing traumatic would really come from it. However, 12:30 pm came around and still no call. We called around 1:30 and were told it was still not ready however they’d give us a call back. 15 minutes we received a call from corporate later and we were told they did not have a truck for us, it was in the shop and there was nothing they could do. My wife called our city budget again to see what else could be done and we were notified we would have a truck by the next morning. We had to post pone and add on cancellation fees of movers, nanny, flights, cleaning ladies, even our landlord’s contracted move out date! The next morning came and no call. Our reservation has been cancelled and we have been on hold for over an hour to communicate with someone. No one has been pleasant or understanding. They tell me if they can’t find our reservation the call isn’t productive and transfer me elsewhere. To top it off we have another day of cancellation fees as well as another families cancellation fee who has been waiting for us to pick up a bed and bedframe and had to reschedule their cleaning ladies as well.
Made a reservation for a moving truck several weeks in advance, when I arrived there to pick up the truck they said they dont have anything available and advised me to call corporate or go to uhaul. Called corporate and after about 2 hours being on the phone with them I didnt get anything. What a mess. What a dysfunctional company.
This is the friendliest Budget facility I know and I swear by them, you won’t go anywhere else and get such wonderful treatment from folks that make you feel like family rather than just another customer. The service is speedy and accurate, the attitudes of the staff is like non other rental agency I’ve ever experienced before which is why I don’t go anywhere else, they care.
I had to wait for over 30 minutes for them to process other customers, even though I was there & in line first. By the time they were ready for me, they had given the car I had reserved, and all similar cars, to other customers. The saving grace; they upgraded my car at no extra charge.

We certainly had a pleasant rental experience at this facility. The employees were top notch and were quick to answer any questions we had. I reserved and prepaid for the car rental online for a very reasonable price for the week and it was ready when we arrived. There were 3 employees at the counter to help this busy business when we arrived and two when we returned the car. The car we rented was almost new with almost 7,500 miles on it and it performed beautifully for the 2,700 miles that we drove it. I am very pleased and would recommend this clean facility in Everett to anyone. I definitely will choose to go here when I rent a vehicle again.

We had a reservation but after our several calls to the company to confirm they finally called the day we were supposed to pick up our moving equipment to let us know that it wasnt available. Understandably we were livid, and had some words with them. In response the owner cancelled all our reservations completely saying he could no longer work with us and told us to go to Uhaul, which we did. Let me tell you, best decision we made!The unprofessionalism is astounding, anyone thinking of using Budget to move ought to pay the extra dollars to go to Uhaul. Dont make the mistake we did and cause yourself this kind of grief.
These people were very helpful in getting me car last minute. They had good rates for the area and like I said gave me the car with just a hours notice. I would definitely recommend them. As well when I had to return the car early because of a flight change they had no problems with refunding me the unused time.

Just so you know their business hour needs to be updated on Google. We were freaking out about them being closed on Sunday after noon because we were supposed to drop off our rental at 6pm. They are now open till midnight and they provide shuttle to the airport. Very friendly and fast.
Theyre always prompt and courteous, but they arent the best organized and many times my FastBreak isnt ready to go by the time I arrive.
After pre-ordering online I found out that you have way more flexibility if you go in and set up your order. Dont be tricked buy the online discounts. Call them in the office and ask first if you are not sure :) Great clean and nice cars!
I placed a reservation for a truck online...I advise anyone dealing with this company to do it over the phone..their website doesnt keep track of how many trucks are at the different Budget lots so they just keep reserving them at the website and when you get there you are lucky to get what you reserved so take this as a word of caution..MAKE YOUR RESERVATION DIRECTLY AT THIS LOT BY PHONE. They told me this at the counter. i was lucky enough to get what I reserved but they said this isnt always the case. They also forgot to put down the mileage when we started so we had to guess.
As far as rental places go this was definitely on the side of the better. I have used this location for four years, and about ten times each year. I have yet to rent trucks, though I have in the past from other Budget locations. I do more than enough travel and often use this office for its convenience. If was to gage them against another organization, (such as Enterprise, Dollar, Thrift, etc) I would mark them high (4) of the margin. When I travel by plane I often get the luxury of using the other services above. Yes, rental is a tricky game with a debit card, they dont exactly pick-you-up, wording on any contract should be read, and the customer service is far worse at any given airport.The cars I have gotten were always clean, and ready. If anything had cropped up with dents, dings, tires, faulty readings, or any discrepancies of the pretty luxuries in cars the staff has always been in attention and receptive.A note to the reasoning of four stars versus five. I have not rented trucks from them thus I can only speak about my involvement on one side of the issue.
Our experience with Budget was a nightmare! The car we received was filthy both inside & out, but that was only the beginning of our troubles. We returned our car with a full tank of gas, but upon checking my bank statement I saw that Budget charged us a huge amount for a gas fill-up when the tank was full!! When I brought it to their attention I was treated rudely, unfairly, & with absolutely NO respect. I am STILL trying to get them to refund me the amount for gas. I have provided proof of purchase & everything else they have asked for. For some reason they seem to think Im trying to scam them out of a tank of gas. Ridiculous! They will lose far more business from us & others than refunding us the amount for a stupid tank of gas. Im embarrassed for them!!!! I would give them a minus 100 stars if I could!

This Company, or perhaps just this location (god, I hope just this location) is a flat out scam. Im going to try and keep this somewhat short... My wife and I reserved a 16 moving truck a WEEK in advance for a small local move. 16 was large for our move, but I figured no big deal, Ill play it safe. We show up 10 minutes before opening time Saturday morning. Walk in the door when they unlocked. They tell us they have no 16 or smaller and that we would have to take a 24. A 24 TRUCK! (BAIT AND SWITCH) this might as well be a semi truck. Not only was this truck absurdly large for the move we were doing, but it was in god awful condition and could barely get from point A to point B. I got to our apt and realized that this truck was so large and unstable that I literally couldnt move our belongings in it without the truck acting like a blender to our things. Anyway, I called them and told them this just wouldnt work and that I was going to return the truck. Well I got back and when I came in the miraculously had a 12 available now. Well, that 12 truck actually had been reserved by another person, but they said first come first serve, well just give HIM the 24 literally, they said this. Well, being desperate to get a truck, I took the 12 truck AND a 25 mile credit to compensate for the mix up. Well, I returned the truck a little late, about 30 minutes late, oddly enough just the time it took to work out the 24 shenanigans that morning. This incurs an additional $10 charge. Alright, I get my bill, they charge me nearly $200. This is impossible I say. I call customer service, he rattles off a bunch of nonsense and tells me these fees make sense even though none of his numbers add up to what is plainly listed online. Also, I still have not received any invoice for any of this. They gave me some random persons invoice. The customer service said they were going to send me a copy by email, but it never came. this is all I will write, believe it or not, its the short version. Just, just dont use this scam of a company.
Was in a crunch at the last minute as enterprise screwed me over. Got a car reserved at last minute. Picked the car up with no problems and I even got a brand new 2016 car. Drop off was easy as well.
Very mixed experience here. After arriving on time for my moving truck reservation--then waiting about an hour in line--the manager announced that they were out of trucks. Lame, considering I and the half-dozen others in line had made reservations weeks in advance. However, the manager gave me a killer deal on an SUV. This worked out OK for my needs, but I sympathize with those whose moving plans were completely screwed by this groups bad business practices. The fault may lie further down the supply chain so I dont blame the crew on shift, but either way I recommend renting with caution.

Made a reservation for a moving truck a week in advance received a confirmation immediately and a reminder two days before. When we showed up on time they told us our reservation has been cancelled the night before because of lack of inventory. This was my daughters last day of her lease and the only day she had off from work to move. Very bad customer service. The employees didnt seem to care. Fortunately we had enough relatives we figured it out. Later, that day we got the phone call from Budget. I thought maybe a truck had come available, but they were calling to say our truck had been cancelled. I told them I had already been there and found that out. They apologized and said they were making phone calls to every one because they still had people coming in.

If I could give them a minus 5 stars I would. when family came from Denmark, the original car they got from budget at the airport said oil change required on day two. We called budget, and they said all they could do was trade for a different car. Came to THIS place and were given a car with stains, multiple dings and scratches, and dings in the windshield. Then the cracks grew!!! The man was rude and dismissive and did not care at all.Had to take it to SeaTac to trade it in for a different car. Never Budget, never again

DO NOT rent from here or Budget in general. Also be warned that if you are unfortunate enough to rent from them, they actually close at 12pm on Sunday. They will allow you to schedule a noon return time on Sunday, then proceed to lock the door in your face and charge you for an extra day (plus a late fee) when you show up at noon to return your car. Customer service with corporate is hilariously poor and would rather argue with you than credit a day and retain a repeat customer. Thankfully my credit card company has much better customer service and was able to take care of the false charges. There are plenty of other options for car rentals, dont waste your time or money with this joke of a business. Even if their rentals are budget they still manage to find a way to give you less than what you pay for.

I have used Everett Budget Car Rental on several occasions when we visit our grand-kids. Service has always been personable and we always had the car that we had reserved. I shall continue to give our business to Everett Budget Car Rentals.
After being on hold for 10 minutes I was kicked over to an automated system that was unhelpful. When I called back the customer service rep put me back on hold without listening to me. So I called back again and when he asked me to go on hold I said, No. He responded with, Well Im with a customer, and put me back on hold. I called again and it went straight to hold. I called back again and it sent me to their corporate line.It was quite possibly the single worst customer service call I have ever been on.

I had terrible customer service on my last visit to this company, so I changed my opinion about this company and decided to change my review. The woman at the reception was rude and not friendly. Perhaps she did not like my appearance, or she does not like people with an accent like mine. Maybe she didn’t like me or she just doesn’t like her work? I dont know. I cant read minds and cant know the reasons for her hidden aggression and her unfriendliness towards me. She was absolutely unprofessional, and she did not have the keys to the car that I had reserved. I lost time while she was looking it, but I was absolutly patient and rented this car. The car was dirty both inside and out. My mood was bad throughout the day, but despite this I was positive the next day becouse I was going to book another car for the next trip with my wife. I was hoping there would be another employee in this office, but there was only she and another employee who was busy. You know, she didn’t even want to help me choose another car. I got a huge negative experience from customer service in my life, and I left this office with the firm confidence that I would never return here again. I shared my car rental story with my internet communities, and I found people who had the same negative experience as me with customer servise in this place. I don’t know who hired this unprofessional rude person. Maybe she is managing this office, or she is owner of this Budget office in this area, but in any case her attitude to her work and customers are very bad for the company’s business.

I used to rent a car from Budget every single month and on all family vacations. I no longer do. They have hiked the prices up so much that it is surprisingly cheaper to rent from Enterprise. Never thought I would see that. They can no longer call themselves Budget, they are anything but. Too bad, you just shot yourself in the greedy foot.. Enjoy the losses.
WORST customer service I have ever had. I had a confirmed reservation to pick up a moving truck here, and when it came time to pick up the truck, we drove out there only to find that they didnt have a moving truck for us despite the reservation! They only had one huge truck that wouldnt fit into my driveway and a smaller one that was broke down. The worker there had nothing to say other than that he simply just didnt have the truck.It was a colossal waste of time and we went with Uhaul after that to find a truck.
The worst customer service at the Everett location. Reserved a car for pick up before they closed. We knew we were going to be a minute or two latebecause of traffic so I called when we were about 15 min away (from a 40 min drive to get there) and asked if it was going to be a problem. The response was they didnt know. We arrived 2 minutes late and they would not help us then called the police because we demanded an answer on why since we had already paid and they had all my info on file. Left without a vehicle. Filed a formal complaint with corporate per instructions from their 1800 customer service number along with the BBC and AGs office.

If I could give this place a half of a half of a star I would. We made a reservation a week before the date we needed a truck. We received a confirmation, and figured all was set. My husband recieved a call less than 24 hours before our scheduled pick up stating that they didnt have a truck available and told us to try calling penske. I then called the store to find out if they had anything else available since we did have a confirmation. We were told no, they had nothing. They also informed us that their computer system does not sync with the online system. When i asked why that was my problem, they said it wasnt but it was not theirs either. So, I got the number for the corporate office and recieved a call back 2 hours later.Needless to say, the customer service was less than desirable.
Today I got here 11:58am the guy is very rude in a non-professional.Never go there again.
Terrible customer service. Terrible experience. We walk in the door and were not acknowledged by the 2 men standing at the counter. Stood there and stared at them for a while and finally asked if they would help me. The guy that checked us out was literally putting his shirt on as he checked us out (he did have an undershirt on.) He didnt say anything the entire time he checked us out. The car we reserved wasnt available and we asked for a different car. He was rude about it and basically only said no. Id take an uber from a blind guy before I rented a car from these people again.
