I dont normally post reviews.. but these guys are great and specifically knowledgeable to the car that I own. Handled everything I needed installed same day and the installation is top notch. As I type this, Im still impressed with how easy everything was for them. Great job.. no joke!

Had my car detailed yesterday at the Everett Car Toys. Spent 450.00 on the works for inside and out. Looked like all they did was take it through a car wash and vacuumed the inside. I took it back and was told well we can try to pressure wash the floor mats Please dont waste your time and money like I did. I will never go back

Nice guys approve you real slick take out payments weekly instead of monthly HAVE A HUGE AMOUNT IF MISC CHARGES ALL FOR LABOR HE SAYS... I mean hundreds. A few times throughout the bill!! My woman is going to come unglued haha

I know your busy but maybe try remembering to call someone back so they can come grab their car I sat inside for over an hour waiting to car back when I asked if it was done they pulled it out front immediately. Also when a customer asks howd everything go take a sec to explain what was the ending result not rush me out the door I will not be coming back to this car toys due to customer service experience

I was a “little” upset about my original purchase and would say I could’ve handled it way better!Arsh at the Everett mall way location in Everett was really patient with me..I’m sure it wasn’t easy either.He explained everything to me and was respectful, helpful and made sure I was satisfied with my services. Found Groupon for a car detail, so thought why not. I have a 2021 Kia I recently bought, so it is fairly clean besides some dirt and pet hair. I just wanted to keep up with the cleaning. Spent 70$ on the Groupon for interior detailing, and when I got there a young kid told me it was be 60$ more for my pet hair! I would understand if it was a large amount, but the hair is minimal! Tried to rip me off and when I asked if he could just leave it, he said no! Surprisingly unprofessional and displeasing experience. I will not be using their services again, and suggest bringing yours elsewhere if you’re looking to save money!

I like my new stereo- only been one day so I have yet to see how it holds up. I also bought new speakers.Took over 7 hours to install. I needed to wait around bc I was having them installed in my camper, which I sleep in. I got there at 2pm, left after 9pm. Reallyyyyy long time. I wasn’t able to install the stereo myself, so I’m happy it’s been done by people that do it for a living. Also really happy with the backup camera considering I backed into a car on my way to the store-YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am really liking having Bluetooth!They have good, fair prices. 2 new speakers, stereo, and backup camera all installed for $1000. I like their financing option! Only thing is half my dash doesn’t light up anymore. A bit annoying, but maybe it’ll fix itself. I’m usually parked by dark so I don’t think it’ll be so bad. It’s only 2 gauges that don’t light up now, gas and oil level, so not the most important.

Tana Soth was amazing! I went in because there was a short in my stereo, somewhere, and though I ended up getting way more than I planned, I couldnt be happier with my new stereo, the sound quality and the amazing interior detailing that my car desperately needed!

Extremely happy with these guys, had a little hiccup when we first started not their fault, had a broken speaker box that needed to be replaced. They ordered it and got it swapped out. Tim was great through the whole process and I now have the best sounding stereo system I have EVER heard.I would recommend these guys to anyone looking or the best sound system that money can buy. I brought in Led Factory Halo Lights and had them install the lights for me. Every week a light would go out and I’d bring it back and they’d fix it. After a few times they decided to hardwire it in. Worked for 2 weeks. Then one of my headlights went out as well a fog light and my high beams are out as well. It is very irritating that I had to keep coming back to Car Toys just for my headlights to go out again. In short, DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU NEED TO INSTALL HEADLIGHTS/FOG LIGHTS. Never coming back to Car Toys again.

I went in to get a stereo and left my truck there for 4 hrs and came back with a backup camera and a Bluetooth stereo same day install was definitely a plus!!! They were very helpful and informative only reason it took so long is im sure the backup camera since I didnt have one before and the steering wheel buttons. They told me it takes a bit extra for those things it killed my pocket but I feel it is going to be well worth it in the long run!!!! Thanks again guys!!!

Decent deals but installation is where they really get the money out of you. Went in for a $200 radio with a free backup cam and free installation promo they were offering, found the sign in the store, but when purchasing the manager said it was an old promo and tried to charge $936 for the whole thing. If youve got the time I recommend really shopping around first

I had been driving around and was listening to stock speakers when I got a case of the sad. I missed the audio clarity I had installed in vehicles past, and I was keen on getting the right upgrade. I stopped in to Car Toys and spoke with Arsh, and I was surprised at how *easy* it was.They are knowledgeable, and given my history with car audio installations (I had done so for many friends), they were able to meet me with the questions I had and allayed the worries I might have had. And when it came to the install, it came out clear. They even innovated a bit with the bass volume knob they had to install (kept the head unit) and set it in with where some other buttons might go with factory accessories. It worked out really well, and it was a very clean installation.If youre looking for some good price points with an audio upgrade, do talk with them. They offer other accessories too, such as dashcams, and if the install is as clean as my audio upgrade was, you wont notice a thing.

I was warned about going here for auto electronics but I had a gift card from my truck dealer to get an auto start installed. I myself was in the auto sales and service industry for over 20 years in WA and AK so I am pretty familiar with the equipment and install routine. Ill try to be short, I was lied to about features several times in their attempt to upsell me. Even the sales manager lied about how a two way remote works and I hate to use the term lied but he did. So I eventually had to step out and visit the manufacturers web site for details about what I wanted. Then the price quote was shocking. A good $200 over any other local quotes and what I expected to pay, but I had the $200 gift card so it was a wash. I figured at least Ill get a good install. Well its in and works, even though they left the run timer on 10 minutes when I asked for it to be set to 15. I can deal with it.Fast forward to today, I go to program a remote and the instructions require you pressing the valet switch. Well I learned my valet switch was on the antenna on this model. But I dont see my antenna anywhere. After digging under the dash I found they left it coiled up and zip ties to the unit! No wonder my range sucked.

I just wanted to have a nice stereo in my truck. I dont know where to begin with how terrible my experience was.These guys ripped me off, broke my dash, and didnt do anything to fix it.The bill they gave me says misc. all over it with no explanation for what I purchased. The sub they sold me blew two days after purchase, while listening at a reasonable volume. They installed it pressed against the back seat. Ir was super hot, only where the seat was touching it. When asked why, they told me to cut the hard carpet to fit it in properly...isnt that what I paid for? Proper installation?Android auto worked for about 2 hours and will not reconnect, they offered no help on this issue. The USB port they installed is loose and spins freely.They broke my custom dash in several places and somehow broke a door light and all of my heater vents.They told me they filed paperwork with corporate and would be contacted in 5 days...its been over three weeks, no word from anyone.Do not buy from them, find a local shop.

Went here wanting to upgrade my stereo system that another shop didnt do very well. I asked a ton of questions about this and that and both arsch and another guy there both helped me put together a system that meets all my wants and needs. Very happy with how it all turned out. Also did a great job doing a detail on it. They also did a great job with installing all of the components I bought. Thanks

Nice work on the new sound system! Only flaw though is that the person getting me the speakers thought a 6x9 would fit. However, I mentioned it to them that it could not (them meaning the original person and another person at front desk). The worker waved it off. After the work was done, the install team told me they had to change out the 6x9 just like I said. The price was adjusted properly but they didn’t take my opinion seriously. Other than that did a good job and worth the money. Also, if they give you an estimated time to finish it most likely isn’t that. Went in to get the install done at 10 and they said it would be done by 4pm. Turned out I ended up going to get it at 11pm at night.

Waited almost 5 hours to have car stereo installed wasnt even worth the wait

First, let me start off by saying I had a long bad history with CarToys. BUT, I went here because of their financing options and figured I would at least be able to get something functional done.Due to how things are these days I needed to add a Dash and Rear cam because insurance fraud is is becoming an epidemic. As well I wanted to add some base and get android auto. I had Carplay already but with how questionable Apple has been, Im switching to Android. So all in all I wanted a new stereo, sub woofer, and cam set.I had speakers and a stereo installed by Foss Audio before this but the dash kit was awful and put the screen way to low for me to use it effectively. Not to say Foss does bad work, they have been great I used them allot in the past over 3 Cars and sent many people to them.But, something I asked CarToys for was a floating screen receiver and a new dash kit that would make the screen high. I gave a price I wanted to pay and they went above and beyond to get me everything I needed for the price I gave them and boy did they deliver. I got everything I needed. They only problem was that the dash kits that are supposed to work for my car were all bad with climate controls. Not CarToys fault as Metra made them; the dash kits all disabled my defroster and killed by ACs ability to blow air from the leg vents. So what did the rep at CarToys do??? He found a solution and upgraded my stereo to work with a system that made all my Climate controls and my car sensors to be displayed and monitored through the receiver screen. What happened? It worked perfectly.They did not give up and made it right even though the Metra part issues were not their fault. They wired it perfectly. My car sounds amazing and I could not have asked for better. Unfortunately, I dont remember his name but the guy who made all this happen that the mega attractive Mexican guy with the awesome eyebrows. Look for him. If it helps ID him the receipts say sold by employee PYZZ and employee AR132411 hes got to be one of them.My bad history was the CarToys in Tukwila and because of them, I found Foss Audio [who are great]. But the Everett Location CarToys has given me faith in the company. I recommend the Everett Location Hard Core. Great Staff and they dont turn away. I even brought them a pie for the great work and effort they put into my car.

They did an awesome job, eventhough I had to go back a couple times to get the steering wheel buttons to work. Arsh was awesome and made it still go smoothly. Will buy there again.

I wanted to get a new stereo system for my car but I was very hesitant at first because I wanted to make sure that it was affordable for me. Arsh was able to help me find the best budget friendly speaker. If any one is around the area and looking to upgrade any parts of their car, I would highly recommend Arsh, he was very friendly and did a great job!

Got remote start installed in my car and it was terrible. Only worked sometimes, even if I were standing right in front of the car. Would take 7-10 tries to get the car to actually start. It was act like it was trying to start and then just die. Got video and whatnot of the issue but they apps try could not find anything wrong with it... the car was only a year and a half old at the time. Needless to say, I spent about a thousand on a feature that didn’t even work....

Went in for an upgrade on my audio everybody was nice and helpful they even put me in for the same day for installation the financing was great I went home with a great product thank you

Great customer service. The tinting is immaculate. The sound system sounds amazing but sometimes it randomly rumbles even when no music is playing. But I trust them to fix it whenever I come back.

The sale associate who helped me tricked me and lied to me. He said he wasnt going to charge me for two installation fees before we started the work. Then when my car was completed and ready for pick up my bill said he charged me for two installation fees. He said before we started he was going to give me a deal. Im not even happy with the purchase I had and I want to return it after one day. I have so many issues with the charges on my bill. I really regret going to cartoys now. It was a bad first experience and I will never ever go back to cartoys.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY REASON! STAY AWAY!Every bit of information given to me was false. I dropped my car off for just hooking up an amp and sub box. At 1pm. They said it would be done by 7, I called at 7:45 and they said it wasnt going to be done until 11:00. Thats 10 hours Ive been without my car. They also quoted me $120 for the install and then proceedes to charge me $508. Never coming here again. EDIT: They threw all of the things that were in the back of my suv, all over my seats and in my childrens car seats. Also they didnt even attempt to put them back, and theres a stench of stale beer in my vehicle after the service was done, 10 hours after I dropped off my vehicle. The cost they were trying to charge me changed again, for the third time to $511 and then again to $505 and some change. DO NOT FOR ANY REASON GO TO CAR TOYS.

Brought my own dash cam for hard wiring to this place and charge me tons of money. I didn’t know any better so I agreed for the amount, knowing now I can have it install somwhere for less than $100, How can you charge $420 for just dash cam installation? Surely a rip off!

Why I give them 4 stars is because there bathroom toilet wasn’t cleaned and they had a lot in the bathroom saying when the bathroom had been cleaned last and it wasn’t filled out at all🦠 also there wait area looks as though it hasn’t been swept in a week. Candy and straws from coffee all over the floor. Like I said service was great but wouldn’t recommend sitting and waiting here.

Did the premier detailing for the interior and exterior. The team did a great job explaining what they were doing. The car looked so much better, my wife didnt even recognize it at first. The deep clean on the carpets with the ozone complety eliminated the bag smells from spilled drinks!

Ive dealt with Car Toys Everett a few times, and in each instance Ive found the staff friendly and easy to work with. When I needed to upgrade my Dodge Dakotas audio system, Arsh was most helpful in picking out the right system for my needs. Adrian did an outstanding job on the installation, and the Kenwood looks and sounds great.

I had brought my car in last week for a full interior detail. Victor ended up working on my car and did an AMAZINGGG job. The customer service and staff were great. From the drop off the night before to the pick up the next day. They worked around my schedule and did a fantastic job. I have two boys who are active in sports and are dirty constantly. The staff at Car Toys deep cleaned everything making my car look brand new. From the small spots to the big ones, they took care of it all. I was hesitant to have it detailed as I wondered if I could just do it myself, but after getting it done, there is no way I could have completed the job they did. It was FANTASTIC, will definitely do it again!

A scam and a bunch of thieves. Sold a stereo to my to give me for Christmas, with free installation. Went in after Christmas for the installation they wanted $400, more than the stereo cost, told us tough luck. They didnt have to honor the ad.

If I could give them a zero rating I would. Purchased a stereo and I’ve had problems with it ever since. The stereo was faulty at first. Messed up my electrical system on my dashboard. After 4 or 5 times they put in a different stereo while trying to say that they’re doing the labor for free.......NO, you’re trying to fix what I paid for that y’all messed up on.Sales representatives with the exception of Josh and Stephen from the Everett Mall Way location are rude. The staff look at you with little rude smirks and very unprofessional comments to each other. They try to give the impression that you are the wrong one, that you don’t know what you’re talking about or are lying to them so that you can waste hours in their shop as if you have nothing better to do. Every time I’ve taken my car back in I was correct, the system still is not working and they don’t know what they’re doing. They make excuses about why you’re system won’t work instead of admitting that they don’t know what they’re doing. I was going to have them take back their stereo......but why? The damage is already done. It’ll never work correctly again. So I’d rather stay away!!!!!!!I will be calling corporate in hopes that they’ll rectify this situation. I doubt it.I WISH I WOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST. My car has been taken back to them about 6 times, I actually want to say 7 and it’s still broke.DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We took our `99 Jimmy in to the Everett Car Toys for a complete detail package including interior and exterior detailing on Friday. This was my husbands birthday gift and he is thrilled. We cant say enough good about this service and the professionalism demonstrated by everyone we spoke with. The technicians were even able to remove pet hair from the cloth seats. Its unbelieveable but this 20 year old car looks brand new. Even our neighbors noticed and are impressed. Overall, no more rides with the dog! Thank you Car Toys.

I had them do an interior detail of my car 18 months ago and they did a fabulous job. I just got my car back from an interior and exterior detail and it is like a brand new car- inside and out. Had an Awesome experience after inquiring about a new Dash Cam. I got a price I could only afford with financing and had the unit installed and all the work was handled by an online loan company with payments based on my paycheck! They even professionally detailed the inside of my car for a small fee added on to my bill making my wait so worthwhile. My Car looks like new on the inside. I cant remember the guys name who detailed my car but he did a better cut and polish than the best auto salon on the west coast who is pretty perfect IMO. If they allowed tips he wouldve got 60 bucks for sure.I also had a new head unit and sub installed to go with the stock upgraded pioneers and they did a super awesome job. Very knowledgeable, very precise when answering my questions and when it came to the details of the install and parts/options.

Just got my truck done. New stereo, cameras front and back. Finished with a full detail. All the fellas involved where great. Salesman, installers, and detailers treated me very well. Extremely happy. Looking forward to going back when necessary. Thanks.😁

I have been going to the Everett Car Toys to get my interlock serviced every other month for almost 3 years. Often I am fortunate enough to get Tim, who constantly goes above an beyond for me. He has stayed way past the end of his shift, waited on hold with the interlock company for hours, fit my vehicle into the schedule, and did whatever he could to take care of me and make sure I wasnt left stranded or with a non-working vehicle. At this point, I think everyone at the Everett Car Toys has worked on my car or had some kind of interaction with me. Most of the staff is the same as when I started coming. I have not had one bad experience at that store in all the time I have been there. All the employees are extremely kind and knowledgeable. I cant give them enough praise.

I went on a Saturday before Christmas to get my radio installed, I had an appointment and everything was already “paid” for. But unfortunately when I dropped the keys off they asked for more money because I had Bose systems it requires extra work and extra time. Although keep in mind I had already paid for it. Anyways they installed the stereo after 40 mins of arguing with them. I went to pick my car up after it was done, just to realized they didn’t have the part that covers around the stereo, so now I have a big gap in my dashboard till they purchase a new covered. It has being 3-4 weeks and I haven’t got my covered installed on my stereo. I called today to ask when the part was going to arrived and they haven’t even ordered it. Don’t waste your time coming to this place. Just go to another to save a headache from this incompetent people.
