I Have used advanced a couple times for for dumpster delivery and several times have used the trash drop off on county line road. I have always had good experiences and customer service. I would use them again and had no complaints at all.

When trying to reach them by phone the Advanced Disposal website directed me to the company which apparently has purchased them Waste Management. After being transferred three times and 2.5 hours on the phone I hung up.

All I am trying to do is get ahold of them to get rid of old cans from a previous owner of our new house and it has been a nightmare. Called 5 times. On hold 45-50 minutes each time and no answer. Very glad we didn’t choose them to do our trash pick up at the new place and based on this one interaction (actually zero interaction because no one answers), I highly recommend you avoid them. I am using Larry Marshall Disposal because they are local and have a sweet person who answers in seconds every time I call.

This company is a rip-off. When I first started my service I was told recycling was free. Now it’s $20 extra a month. When I called they didn’t know what I was talking about that it was never free? If you are late paying your bill they charge you more than your service as a late fee and now there is a new $7 fee a month. I will be switching. The only good thing about this company is the girl that answered the phone was friendly and our driver is awesome.

Service for garbage and recycling removal has been great, but customer service is very poor. This company makes WOW look good! I have been trying to get in touch with someone for days, calling and leaving messages through their website. They obviously arent interested in making it easy for customers to contact them to get issues resolved.

The worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. First of all prices are ridiculous. Secondly, receive a bill in the mail with NO due date on it, and within two weeks of getting the bill, they take our trash can then never answer the phone. Cancelled and went to another company with better service. DO NOT recommend this company at all.

This company is a mess. It seems they have sold to waste management and neither company knows what’s going on. Can’t get anyone from either company to respond. I finally got an email back from some doof at waste management and he says they don’t service my address. Good luck!

I used this service for years and they have increased prices dramatically. Price increases are expected but I feel they have raised them beyond what would be appropriate. However, that is not the reason for the poor rating, or for cancelling my service. I had been finding small empty liquor bottles in my yard with a frequency and other details indicating it was the operator for this service. On the day of this review my trash was collected and another bottle was found, but that morning I had checked and confirmed there were no bottles present. When the bottle was found i called customer service and informed the rep I wanted to file a complaint and cancel the service. The rep immediately became hostile toward me, implying that I was either lying or jumping to conclusions without evidence. I provided her information about my findings, including that I live on a dead end street. The customer service representative remained hostile and basically seemed to deny the possibility that my assertion was even plausible. I will be finding another solution for waste disposal services and do not recommend this service.

For context, I was interesting obtaining a roll-off container for a house project and things didnt work out on my end. So I want to take the opportunity to rate their customer care. Any of their garbage services I dont know anything about which seem to be a lot of these reviews?Absolutely fantastic customer care support team. Suzanne Waldrop and Lisa. Truly phenomenal. Ive already given kudos to Suzanne before, and she deserves it again. Lisa, whom Ive just worked with, was able to work with me to find the information I needed. Really top notch. I can not more highly rank all of the customer care support team I have worked with, both on-phone and those of you that were in the background supporting. Thank you all.

They like to bill, argue and make excuses, but dont like to pick up trash. Started service a month. They still havent picked up. Options are limited so still trying to get them to pick up.

They have always been easy to work with. If you are going on vacation they will recognize your time away and credit your bill for that time, with proper notification.We like their large cans.And any time the driver has lost any trash he has gotten out and placed it in the truck, he is very conscientious .

Because the driver the drives their trucks and an employee of theirs is throwing trash cans around here is a photo of the trailer park I live in and on Wednesday December 28th 2016 when they pick up trash the driver means you went around picking up trash and throwing peoples trash cans right back down on the ground and knocking a few over in the trailer park here is some pictures.

If I could leave less starts I would, these guys havent been picking up my trash for two months and I canceled my service with them. I had their service since January and since that time I paid over $200 to them for the two quarters. my standard price was suppose to be $74 a quarter. These guys send you bills and then say they will put you on collections for not paying. DO NOT GET THIS GUYS as your trash company. and if you are with them switch somewhere else

I called to see about pricing since their prices are not listed on the website. It all makes sense now.....The customer service rep I spoke with (after being on hold for 25 minutes) indicated that cost for service depends on when you join them. So in my neighborhood each person on the street will be paying a different price. Something to do with annual increases etc.What got me was they want me to pay WAY more than my neighbor. It does not cost more to service an area that is already being serviced. It actually costs less (virtually nothing since they are driving right by my house anyway to go to the next pick up location).I will not be doing business with this company and I hope to let anyone who may be considering them to steer clear.

Horrible experience getting them and trying to cancel. When I tried to get services with them no one would call me back or reply to my emails. I went with another company but sadly advanced bought them out and I was forced to have services with them. They got too expensive for us and I sent multiple emails trying to cancel, called, sat on hold for 15+ minutes for no one to answer or try to reach back out. I never once sat out trash out once I tried to cancel so obviously not using their services. They are now trying to collect for a service I did not use for the last 3 months. I had always paid on time up until I tried to cancel of course. If you pay for future services how can the bill be late? If I’ve tried to cancel and have not been setting my trash out why am I being charged?? I have talked to multiple people stating I am not paying and they say they will get with their supervisor and call me back. They do what they do best... don’t call until the are trying to collect again and act like they have no idea. I have heard multiple people having issues as well. Especially when it comes to canceling services.

Our trash man is consistently putting our trash can in our drive way when he(or she) picks up in the am. Bridlewood Subdivision. Just happened again this morning on 12/27 @ 5:36 am. It needs to stop. There are other disposal companies.

Weve had Advanced Disposal for a few months now and are VERY pleased. They are one of the only companies around here who offer recycling in our area but were still cheaper than their competitors who dont offer recycling. They also have excellent customer service. We definitely recommend using them!

The service they provide is okay. No major complaints. It is good that there is competition for them in this area of service though. The price increases get slipped in every year. You may have to remind them of their competitors monthly charges in order to get your contract down as I did.

I received my bill and it was more than double. The lady on the phone was extremely rude trying to tell me that it was for two months but the service date showed one month. She put me on hold and came back and fixed the issue but her snarky attitude was awful. I tried to say something to her and she cut me off each time. Super rude!

Extremely rude man picking up the trash. Has spoken nastily about neighbors to our left being late on their bills and saying good people pay their bills, like its any of my business. Left a nasty note on my door because there was trash in the recycling can. I have two special needs children who help with the housework and who cant understand that there is a difference in the cans! Disgusting behavior.

I would recommended to everybody they never forgat to pick up trash and they work with you if y I u have additional trash to get picked up. Staff is always friendly and helps you out if there is an issue. Customer service is great! thank you !

They never at anytime left any trash in the containers or the ground. They where always respectable. I say its wrong for taken the residents freedom rights away on the choices of who and what company they shall have the freedom and the say of who they wish to use.

This is the WORST company ever! We recently moved to a new neighborhood where we were told to try Advanced Disposal because of the neighborhood discount. Against my better judgement we switched to save $20 a quarter even though we absolutely LOVE MARSHAL DISPOSAL! Advanced has been a complete NIGHTMARE! The previous owners of our home left both cans (recycling & trash) completely full. After calling they picked up the trash but left the recycling. My husband accidentally got a small amount of grass clippings in the recycling can because again both cans were full as we were moving in! Another pick up day came and they did not pick up the recycling. My husband called and they said there was grass in the recycling so they couldn’t pick it up. After speaking to them and getting as much clippings out as possible they sent someone back to get the can. AGAIN THEY LEFT IT! So I called and spoke to someone who said they’ll send someone. The lady called back 5 minutes later and said they won’t get it because of the grass. I explained there were barely any clippings in it and asked what they want me to do, dump the entire can and pick out EVERY blade?! To which the lady responded “um yes, we can’t take recycling with grass in it”. Very rude company. This morning (a month later with same FULL recycling can) I watched the men stop at each house dump the recycling go to the next house until they got to ours. When they pulled up to our house the two men literally got out of the truck and pulled out piece by piece of cardboard and plastic from our recycling until they couldn’t reach any further, cussing the whole time, because I am positive there were still a few bits of grass in it, before they finally dumped the rest of the can! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND RUDE! We will be switching back to Marshall once this quarter is up. ADVANCED DOESNT EVEN DESERVE 1 star!

KUDOS to Advanced Disposal and especially Scott Bradshaw for helping all of us in Warrick County during their major push to form a monopoly. I feel that I have made a friend in Scott working with him the past few months, when I need to vent he has the ear. The county put my husband out of his small pick up business but we have went with Advance and as long as Scott is there they will for sure keep our business, EVEN if that means we have to drive to the facility to get rid of our waste. We have also sent many others Advances way, we are not done fighting this mess and we look forward to working with your company even more in the future.

So far we have only had it for a little under two weeks, they could find our residence to drop off the dumpster, it has been almost two weeks since they have dropped off and not once have they picked up. We have called several times and each time we are told they will be out that day to pick up, and still no one shows up.

Paid $125 for them to pickup large items from our house. Now they’re claiming they can’t drive down anyone’s driveway to come get them (should have told me that from the beginning since it’s a service they use to charge for). We have a very long and large driveway the trash truck can easily fit on, and they’ve come down the driveway before. Why did I pay $125 if I’m gonna have to haul it myself down the driveway? It’s too heavy and too big to be moved without a large truck. The lady was extremely short with me on the phone. She is aggravated that I am explaining that they can fit down our driveway. Will be cancelling service whether they fix this issue or not based on the attitude of the lady on the phone.

Never picks up all my trash doesn’t pick up my recycling every time bills me wrong and then this morning ‘Because they can’t control the wind had a whole front yard of trash that wasn’t mine was dumped in my yard and I had to pick it up and they really didn’t care. Canceling today.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Rates change every month, even though we have a guaranteed flat rate. At first, they would make the adjustment and for the last several months they refused to even respond to our voicemails. Eventually, the Craig Hedges promises to revise the invoices to the correct charges and email the corrected invoices to us, but he didnt do it. Weve given them a notice of default on their contract and are going to have our attorney sue them for the overpayments while we were trying to get the billings corrected. THEY WILL CHEAT YOU, no matter what their contract says...

Not even worth giving them one star. Terrible customer service and the lady i talked was so rude. I wish i remembered her name. She was not able to understand and ready to communicate with a customer. All she did was just repeating what I did wrong over and over and tried so hard to teach me. I finally discontinued their service at the end of the her scolding. Horrible lady that dont even know the basic communication manner!

Terrible customer service from the payments division. Rude as can be. Gries was always so much better with their customers and the current actual customer service is still nice as can be but theyre payments staff needs retrained on how to actually handle speaking with customers. You have ONE JOB. Try not to be so awful at it.

Can never get ahold of them. Even during “normal business hours” i have to leave a message.ALWAYS raising my prices.About a year ago I tried to switch because a competitor was about half the price they matched it but only did so for one bill. After Advance bought Eric Gries disposal, it was all downhill. They raised my rates at a crazy pace. They refused to price match anyone local, so I cancelled my service and went with Republic. 3 weeks now I have had my Advanced Disposal trash can at my curb and they refuse to come collect it. They say bill is constantly late and charge $35.00 each time although my cancelled checks indicated it’s November and I have already paid trash services 5 times since January and just received another bill. Awesome experience! AD was very responsive from the start. Switched out our dumpster twice, was very accomodating with sizes of dumpster and literally showed up immediately once you asked them to dump. I also had a discrepency with the bill and Katie worked very quickly to respond and exceeding my expectations on working through it. Thank you and enjoyed being a AD customer!

We had Eric Gries and loved them but when Advanced bought them out it was awful. They would leave trash like a few limbs on top of going as far as taking bags out of trash cans then pulling a few pieces of hedge timings out of the cans throwing them on the ground by the cans and then dumping the rest of the can.When I called them about the matter the told me I needed to set it by the cans!! Really I did that the first time and they never got taken!Any time I need to repeatedly call someone it is not a good place.

They got rid of their recycling center at their transfer station. Called to see where they moved it and they said no longer have... take it to Wesselmans nature recycling center. So the 4th largest waste disposal company would rather not fund a recycling program at their transfer station in the county, primarily used by county residents, and instead put the increased pressure on a location located in the city that is already super busy...Advance Disposal, please reevaluate this decision.

Absolutely worst trash service I have ever had. And dont bother with calling to try and get your problem fixed because the ladies in the office will talk over you everytime . To save you time and money I would recommend Eric Grease trash disposal, he is cheaper, professional and picks up on time everytime.

This company is way overpriced for the service they offer On top of that if you live on a public street and somebody parks their car in front of your trashcan they will not get out of the truck to roll it 5 feet and dump it they will just leave it and let trash pile up on the street until the following week I tried to call and have them come back out but they will not come back out if somebody parks in front of your trashcan what a joke just look at all their bad reviews

I cant believe that every time we turn around and the price goes up we started it was in the low 40s this last bill 97 dollars we own 2 trucks so I know all about fuel surcharges and all we haul for the rates go up and down here they keep going up havent ever went down thats why I will shop around
