This place is a joke. If you want to be blamed for their broken equipment and charged thousands of dollars in fees then rent here. If you want equipment that works you’d be better off renting from United or the rental guys or just buying it at harbor freight. Don’t rent here. Local Cons.

Do yourself a favor. Never rent from these condescending crooks. Go to the rental place in Fortuna or the rental guys, or United both in eureka.Broken equipment 90% of the time. Wasted day and they still charge you. They may even charge you to replace their equipment that was already broken when you got it to the work site.

Rented me a broken machine that didn’t function properly and then tried to charge me for their own failed equipment. These guys are shady AF. Stay away. Rent from the guys in Fortuna or the rental guys on Jacob’s ave.

Rented a faulty trailer here and was charged several thousand dollars for the damage he sustained when it failed. Don’t rent here unless you want to volunteer to help purchase their new fleet at your own expense. What a shame, these guys are a stain on our community.

Dons has been around forever. They have great, well maintained equipment at very competitive rates and easy wiggle room if you run a couple hours over. They really set you up well before you leave the yard and they are mask compliant.

Rent a tow doling ok but the straps were broken😬, when I returned the things they tried to charge😠. on tap the red flag me, the employee was marginal🥱 in charge. better check them before you rent

Criminals. They will rent you broken equipment and then charge you for breaking it. Doesn’t matter if it didn’t work when you got it home. Dons policy is, send the next guy home with the broken outdated equipment and charge them for breaking something that never worked for you.Dons the local joke.

This place used to be so much better. Last two times I have rented a wood splitter from here they have broken during use. One time leaking engine oil and the other time broken hydraulics. While they are very good with their customer service it doesn’t matter when your equipment keeps breaking. Only reason for two stars is that they always give us a refund when the stuff breaks

The staff was helpful and really nice. We rented a cherry picker to lift a couple engines out of the truck. It was reasonably priced and worked great. I would highly recommend them.

Very well priced equipment provider with a decent selection of machines.Family ran business from what I heard.The machine that we got had a hose problem on day#3 so they have us the weekend and 1 business day as compensation.I was so pleased so I didn’t even ask them to reimburse me for the hose($65).I would rent again from this outfit.

Big place with everything you can imagine. Rented a insulation blower from them. The toggle switch to the blower we rented was faulty and resulted in increased labor costs for my job. However, the company owned the mistake and provided a small discount. I look forward to future business. Prices are reasonable lots of selection and big staff size.

She knew, that I knew how to do the job, and was kind enough to run through instructions on a piece of equiptment that I had never used in a power form, rather then a manual model.(power auger) Thank you guys for great service!

Told to “GET MY OWN EQUIPTMENT” by the manager... I called ahead to confirm they had the equipment I needed. Once I arrived I waited a while, when they finally decided to attend to me I paid in full. I pulled around to the yard to load and found several unmotivated workers looking lost. I aproached one of them after he stared at me a while he went to get the equipment. I was ten told they did not have the equipment. I protested of course and the big mouth behind the desk blurted out “GET YOUR OWN EQUPMEMT”. A rental shops where the official policy is get your own equipment!! Don’s is a local joke. I’ve dealt with dons for a long time but costing me money to travel and pay people not to work for the day because they screwed up YET AGAIN. United rentals, mck ace, and redirents in fortuna are all better. They are run like real business unlike don’s.

They have the full range of equipment one would expect from a general equipment rental store. Prices are fair and the people are friendly.
