Super friendly and fast service. I took my mom so she could recycle her car. Lissa was super helpful and very nice! She explained what we needed to do to get the car recycled. We came back with the appropriate paperwork and she got us on the schedule. The car was picked up rather quickly. Very pleased with their service and would recommend them to anyone needing this service.

Lissa was an absolute pleasure to do business with. I needed a hood, door, fenders, and a few other pieces for my 1999 4Runner. She was able to provide me with everything I needed for a great price! :) If I ever need parts again, I know who I’m going to. Thank you Lissa!

Absolutely dismal service! The receptionist was extremely unprofessional and provided misleading and wildly inaccurate information. I truly do not understand how a business can continue to successfully operate given such poor customer service. I will no longer subscribe to this business and furthermore will inform everyone in my personal as well as business life of the terrible interactions I was subject to. Wishing the rating system allowed for a negative value to be assigned as there was nothing positive gleamed from this.

Unprofessional, rude, misleading, scam centered chop shop is what it is. Horrible customer service with the goal of misleading the public for their benefit. Just got off the phone with the receptionest and was rudely informed that they do not sell parts to the general public despite listing parts for sale on their website and on eBay.

Lowest score I could give. Customer service in the sales section when I called was a joke. They would not help me at all and just told me to go onto their eBay website which is not very user friendly. Overall the rude woman who answered the phone SUCKS and I wouldn’t even buy the part IF they had it!!

One star willl have to do. For some reason they never have any parts that I need for very common vehicles s10, f150, civic. They unwilling to order them as well. I had the cash but the owner or manager Gary claims that my vehicle is not worth the price of the parts.... Just because you a delusion everything not yours is worth far less than it is, while simultaneously thinking your items are like gold, they arent, buddy.. I dont see why or how a low level managers opinion of what something is worth is relevant to the fact that I need a part, I have the cash for it (was willing to pay beforehand), and if money is lost its not on them. its not like they honor their warranty anyways. They do not have specific terms posted anywhere for said warranty, the terms are whatever they feel like making up when you come talk to them. Whatever the issue may be on a replacement engine, they will find a way to blame it on you. I would highly recommend that the employees take a class or two in customer service. If there was another junk yard within 100 miles, I would go there. At the very least, you have served as my inspiration to open my own yard to undercut your pricing in every aspect, hell, Id even buy useless cars just to take business and customers from you.

This place is great, John has professional courteous and friendly staff, if youre looking for a used car part or any part I can almost guarantee you Johns got it and if he doesnt have it he will point you in the right direction of a quality part. I bought hundreds of parts from Johns and let me tell you each and every part that didnt work John replaced for free and those they couldnt replace, they give me a refund. I highly recommend this place.

Disappointed I pay for a glass, told in would be ready in 3 days, when I got there its was not ready, one of the work apologies, the told me to wait 30 minutes so someone can go pull it for me. I waited the 30 minutes then a lady came back and told me that the car with the glass got crushed this morning. So I wasted time on gas for nothing.

The guy tried to charge me 75$ for a simple mounting bracket when I could find the same part online for 50$ this place is a rip off. Auto salvage is supposed to be where u can find cheap used parts, this is not like this.

Bought a transmission and transfer case and had them shipped up to Oregon. Bill was great help and provided excellent service. Definitely recommend these guys.

Junk yard folk, to the core. Probably got good parts and such, but a real scam getting rid of anything. Staff skievy, but sometimes you need it done. Usable, but left feeling gross and trapped into using their services because of the lack of alternatives.

I have been a customer of Johns for many years ! They have always been the go to for any of my used parts needs, excellent service & huge organized inventory . Being born & raised in Humboldt I moved to Paradise several years ago & still made trips over to take advantage of Johns great service ! Last month after the tragedy there I got a message from owner Rick Fox to find out if I was all rite & if he could help me.so I told him I was getting an RV to live in for a while & it needed tires ×6 he GAVE me the best & probably the most valuable ones in his inventory *BIG THANKS to him & his GREAT staff ( Bill Lacky) for helping me through these hard times.Johns ROCKS

Its a junkyard, most of the employees and family owners seem like cool folks. They pulled an engine for me, for cheap an it runs great. They banged it up though. Maybe tip them ahead of time and mention to be nice to the parts they pull.Due to location and friendliness they get 4.

This place is super busy, either with the phone ringing off the hook or the somewhat impatient patrons inside.Just slow down, be patient and shoot the breeze with the people there.The are super knowledgeable about their jobs and just great to talk to.Price wise, they are slightly lower than online prices and I didnt have to wait for parts to be shipped to me and I didnt have to drive to Redding to get parts.All in all, a good experience. I bit behind estimated wait times, but thats okay.

On three separate occasions I have called ahead to see if there was a part, was told it was available /being held, driven an hour to get there, and then have been told that they never had said part in the first place. The people are friendly but obviously not very diligent or organized.

We always have had great service here. We were in there the other day, and Bill Lackey was very professional and helpful.

I called about a bumper for my truck and they told me they had one in the yard for 175 dollars. I drive an hour up there, then stand around in the office like a jackass for about 10 minutes until I realized that basic customer service doesnt exist there. If its your first time going to Johns bear in mind that no one acknowledges your existence there so you gotta go up to the counter and bother somebody for help. After some more standing around I got taken out to the yard and guess what? The part I was quoted over the phone didnt even exist.

Gary is the man who understands cars. If he doesnt know it its not to be known

Like others have said, when I arrived here I stood at the front desk for 5 minutes while multiple employees went in and out from behind the counter and none of them cared to ask me if I needed help. Johns makes people pay to have their junk cars taken and then John turns around and makes profit again off the parts.

Its a great place for used parts, I wish we got to go look around in the back with the cars. More fun if you get to retrieve it yourself.

I always feel like I got a good deal from Johns. They treat customers well and deliver promptly.

I like and trust Gary at Johns he has saved me a ton of money over the years. A good old fashioned junk yard, being forced to become modern, unfortunately. They are busy in the afternoon...try to come in early in the day.

So these guys and gals truly are awesome and if you need a part or need help finding a compatible part, they come up with the solutions to help there customers. I HAD THE HARDEST TIME FINDIND A PART couldnt find a part at any auto parts store nor on amazon and YOU cant order this part EITHER .I told them the part and the yr and compatible years they had part for me and truly went out of there WAY. Too cool for school. These guys dont try to help they just want to prove you wrong and establish their parts knowledge superiority, even if they are wrong. I am a seasoned mechanic and know how to have someone pull a part for me. I guess being the only game in town gives you some serious rude tude. Back to eBay I guess. Just got my car sent to scrap pile.just bring pink slip&keys,to be picked up in 3 to 5 days.Ad says we will give [cash for klunkers]Tow charges $50,hazard fees$75Meaning i got nothing in return(sad)

These guys are idiots. They prefer to crush a car in perfect cosmetic condition, rather than sell parts off of it. The cars in question are Honda Accords. Not only that, the women who work here are very rude.

Went to buy a truck out of the crush pile told me it would take 3 days to see if he could sell it to me. I took him OVER a week, then told me as long as it dosnt have a bent frame he would sell it to me, then after that he told me he pulled it off the pile and it was to much for me to fix it after me waisting 2 weeks to get the truck and I TOLD HIM at first I only wanted it for the frame I had 2 other trucks both Nissan that I was pulling parts from Im seeing tomorrow if they already crushed it after he made me a deal told me a price and I had cash In hand. I wouldnt deal with them they really dont know what there doing and go back on what they say. Dont waist your time.
