I came in to get two rolls of film developed and have prints made. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful and informative, answering all my questions. Him and another employee also took 15-20 minutes of their time to assist me with an issue I was having with my flash. The guy even threw in a free manual for my camera! Very satisfied with the help I received!

I used to go to Walgreens to develop my 35mm photos, but I’m so happy I started going to Dot Dotson’s. This is a Eugene staple for all of the photography buffs!! Employees are very knowledgeable, kind, and I got my photos returned to me in less than a week (Walgreens took 6 weeks🤢). They even uploaded the scans to my dropbox. I love them!

Dot Dotsons is the only place I will have develop my rolls of film. Often times they have them developed and scanned within 24-48 hours! Having them uploaded to Google Dropbox is extremely convenient as well, and I just pick up my negatives the next time I bring in a roll. The best place for all your photography needs.

Great old fashioned photo store. I used to take film there (which I think you still can) now I send them photos to print online. I wish I could send them photos right from my iphone order prints thing. Prints are top quality.

I cannot give them one star, but I have to to post. It was a debacle from the beginning. I took in 13 rolls of film that had been in storage. I spoke to a gentleman and told him I wanted to develop those pictures that were clear as a suspected most of the film was damaged. He said that he would print in black and white or color if the photo was clear. We discussed getting negatives or having the photos scanned I declined both. I received a call a few days later from a woman telling me my photos were ready. Not negatives. I took the pm off of work, drove 65 miles and they chose to develop the negatives only. Talked To the same guy he acted as if he didn’t remember our Extensive conversation. He agreed to develop those pictures that were clear even if they were in black-and-white. He told me he would call me the next week. Two weeks later I call and leave a message I got a callback. This young guy Contacted me and told me that my pictures have been scanned and I needed to bring a jump drive and pick them up. He told me I had to pay for the negatives and the scan. When I attempted to tell him this isn’t what I agreed to, I just wanted the pictures,, he was so rude and unbelievable and cut me off. I said fine I’ll pick it up in a couple of weeks as it was the holiday and I couldn’t make it to their store (very short hours of operation) Then I get a call from the woman asking me when I’m going to pick up my stuff. I tried to explain to her hey I told this other guy wouldn’t be there for a couple weeks, and then I tried to relay to her that I didn’t want the negatives or the scan that is not what I asked for. And I told her what I was told by the other gentleman in the store. She said well that’s a lot of work for us to do and we wouldn’t be doing that. I don’t understand why he would say that he would. I told her I would pick it up when I got back from being out of town. She called me AGAIN when I was out of town and I had to call my husband and have him give her the charge card and she agreed to ship for free. So now I have a box of negatives, a jump drive with a few scanned pictures on it and no pictures paid $200. You can’t even explain yourself there no one wants to listen, they shut you down and treat you as if you’re stupid. Horrible customer service. I will never ever go there again. And now I have to go somewhere and pay to have the pictures printed that I have. All those employees need to learn how to communicate and take notes. And somebody needs to teach them about customer service and not treating their customer so poorly. So disappointed as they came highly recommended by several people.

Dot Dotson’s is excellent! Quick and well-done film processing and great customer service. I brought in my favorite film camera that had a busted mirror and they said it’d be $35 to get it looked at plus the price of parts... but they had a brand-new in the box version of said camera for $35 as well. They told me it had been sitting on the shelf for over a year so they gave it to me for $20! Best spot for cameras, film processing, and prints in Eugene. Can’t say enough good things about them!

Cant say enough good about this store, if they dont have it, they will find it for me. I go in often to browse at used cameras and lenses and most of the time leave with one. I found a Nikon 85mm AF lens that was priced at about half of what was going online, I purchased it and it is a great lens. The expertise, great customer service and the nicely arranged store has me coming back time after time. Really appreciate you guys, about time I headed back in!!

Went to dot dotsons on 10/29/20 with questions about a memory card and received some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced from a young hipster gentleman. He was rude and snapped at me multiple times when I asked him questions. I will definitely be following up with a phone call in the morning and never giving my business to dot dotsons again.

Paul at Dot Dotsons was INCREDIBLY helpful in the process of my first photography show. He worked with me for over a month in person, online, and on the phone and answered all of my questions. He showed me how to mat my photos and let me stay late after their store closed to finish them.He also got me the best price possible, including a student discount. I will be returning for l my photo needs.

For my birthday a few weeks ago, I received a lovely secondhand DSLR Canon from my parents - unfortunately it did not come with a strap or a bag. My out-of-town father suggested I go to a mom-and-pop camera store: Theyre everywhere! I scoffed, Of course not, those are all out of business, I HAVE to go through Amazon. Then I found Dot Dotsons. Not only did they have a great array of camera straps and bags available, I was able to purchase a strap and bag for a FRACTION of what I would have spent on shipping alone to get them here in any reasonable amount of time.Additionally, the gentleman who helped me not only helped me find a good bag that would fit my camera as well as a strap, he even threaded the strap on my camera for me (a feat I must admit I was not up to).Excellent service, great prices, and all locally owned and operated. Im sticking with them for everything for this new camera!

I had over 40 years of photo albums and photos piled in boxes. I took them here to have them all scanned and put on a thumb drive to protect the memories for all my family members. With close to 2000 photos I knew I would never have taken the time to scan all of these. Becky did a remarkable job in scanning these and taking the yellowing out in some of the photos. I couldnt be happier with the work that was completed. Now I can send them out to each member of the family and they can pick and choose what they want to create keep.I also took in a 1973 photograph for restoration that had been folded, torn, and taped back together. I really had my doubts if anything couldve been salvaged. I was elated when I picked up the photo and it had been restored so well that you couldnt tell it wasnt the original. This was a gift to a family member, and I knew it meant a lot to them. I highly recommend Dot Dotsons for any restoration.
