Their small jobs are fine. Worth 5 stars. I recommend them for small size jobs. Highly. The new guy who does larger size jobs literally doesn’t know how to measure. I asked to print a file at ratio with the reference ‘plus marks’ vertically 15 inches apart. He called to ask “do you want me to measure from the centers or the tips of the plus mark?” I asked if it was a joke. He said no, and he was going to charge me for the time to figure it out. I hung up. Basically he’s charging you for time to figure out how to measure the proper size of the print. How to measure from the same point on all reference points. Very basic signage things. He can’t size a normal vector file for printing.I had the exact same job printed by the same place, Central Print, at a larger size for $20. I still have the receipt. It’s a matter of simply being consistent. This new guy doesn’t know what the heck he’s doing and said it would cost way more than $20. He got rude and I don’t think I’ll be coming back for anything, personally.
I had a difficult-to-explain print for them to enlarge, and for the second time theyve completely nailed it. Printing full size nearly 4x6ft drawings of my design has saved me tens of hours of time in production and the roughly $40 price was very reasonable. Highly recommended.
I purchased a new large format copier from Central Blueprint a few months ago, Ben Cox is my rep and was a breath of fresh air when it came to the sales process. He is honest and very prompt. When I had questions about operating the new machine he came right out same day, (more than once) Today I called for paper and it was delivered in just over 30 minutes. This company really understands customer service.
So quick!
I was delighted with the wonderful service ethic at Central Print. Every time I walked in the door or called on the phone, employees went the extra mile to help me quickly and courteously. My project was rather unusual and I was able to confer directly with the graphic designer who was helpful beyond measure. As a fine artist, I will never hesitate to do business with Central Print and feel confident in recommending this business establishment to any friend with a printing project to complete.
After having my final Kinkos fiasco, I decided to try something local and small in scale; Central Print was a stellar choice. I was helped promptly and greeted with friendly service. My order was done at the expected time and looked fantastic (a print made from an original art work). The quality of work was excellent, and in the same price range at Stinkos. Thanks guys!!!
This is why you buy and go local. We had a Christmas gift go wrong the Friday before my wife had to leave and bring this gift on a plane Monday. Wisely she jumped on Facebook and asked for help on who could recreate a custom gift for her co-worker. The team at Central print were very accommodating and Brandon pulled off a miracle. Well we can both state that it was skill for Brandon, but for us it was a miracle to get the gift printed, framed, and done on a Friday afternoon during the holiday season. Cant thank the team enough. If you need printing especially with custom design work, I would highly suggest you call Central Print to help you out. They do more than just printing and I wish we would have gone to them in the beginning because they could have done the whole thing. They can engrave, etch and other services that you may not think of or saw something cool on Instagram. Before you go across the nation to some nameless Etsy shop, see if they can pull it off for you. You wont be sorry.
The service I have received from Central Print has been outstanding. Their effort to accommodate last minute requests is second to none. And of great importance to me, in the rare instances where there has been a mistake, they go above and beyond to make it right. In my experience, we have never missed a deadline - I can trust Central Print to deliver.
From the moment i walked into the place i should have turned around. Staff was very rude and made me feel like i was bothering them with my questions. They paid more attention to their cells phones rather then give me a few moments to complete my order. I will not be using these guys ever again.
I work for a medium sized company, and whenever possible, I send projects to Central Print. They always hit deadlines, the quality is always exceptional, and Ive enjoyed every person Ive met over there. When it comes to large scale printing, theyre the best.
Rating four stars because I had one bad experience with them where they were short with me and forgot to call me with my printing job. Once they realized that I never got a call they gave me the print for free and were very professional and kind about it. Overall I would recommend Central Print.
This shop refused to do business with me because I am a mobile designer, and not an official resident of Eugene. I offered every courtesy, including paying ahead of time for my project, and having it picked up by my staff member who IS a Eugene resident. They refused. I called another printer in the same neighborhood, and they handled my project within 1 day. I was told various things like this is our policy and its how our system is set up. Im running a national campaign from the midwest, and its 2017. Sorry, I cant stop in personally and say hello!
I took five decorative posters to Central Print to be laminated. I had to sign something saying that lamination was at my own risk, which I understand. Four posters came out perfectly but one was laminated with a crease in it. Totally unusable. I understood that it could not be re-laminated and that I essentially lost my poster. I wasnt rude about it, but I asked for a refund for that one poster to be laminated, which was $12. They refused, saying the lamination was done at my own risk. I said that I understood that my artwork was lost but that I should not be charged for a job not done. They just did not get it. For $12 they could have had a repeat customer (I have more things to be laminated). Instead, they have an unsatisfied customer who will take her business elsewhere and they are left with a bad review about their policies. Worth $12? I doubt it. Whoever makes these decisions at Central Print has no clue how a good business should be run.In case they are reading this review and want to be better in the future, heres what a good business would have done: First, noticed the error, pointed it out to me, and apologized. Central Print waited for me to find it and never apologized for anything. Second, a good business would not have charged me for the bad job and would have given me a discount on the rest of what I purchased. They did not offer and when I asked solely for a refund on the bad job, they refused to give it.
They can be extremely busy here and some of the front room staff is not so helpful - however if you can speak with the graphic designers themselves they are very helpful and excellent at what they do - the quality is high.. The prices are leaning towards the expensive side.
Central Print did a good job for me. The price was fair, and the work they did was of very good quality. Ive read some complaints about them, but I avoided any mistakes or miscommunication with them by being clear with exactly what I wanted and not accepting anything less. They did take a little more time than I wanted them to on the job, but it was worth the wait.
We use central print for all our prints. I wish I didnt have to rush every job, but every time they come through. Highly reccomend them, a great crew!
Friendly and fast staff. Definitely keeping them in mind for the future
