They do not answer their phone. EVER. Calls are directed to a voice mail box that apparently does not exist because the outgoing message it says it is not available on this line. Worse yet their Facebook page does not seem to be a public page to get info there about an appointment or a real phone number to reach a real person. Nope. Facebook requires a Fb account and sign-in to access for WorkSource Lane. Due to stalking issues and previous ID theft I do not now and never had a Fb account and there isnt enough incentive in the world to force me to sign up with Fb. I am not claiming UI benefits I just wanted help with job searching as Im in the hard-to-get-hired category being over 60 years old. IMO WorkSource Lane is a complete waste of taxpayer dollars and should be investigated by Oregons fraud/waste/abuse arm of the Governors office.

Would leave zero stars if I could. Their automated phone answers leave a voice mail but voice mail says no voice mail available. Requirement for getting unemployment benefits is a so-called in-person meeting with WorkSource but no in-person activity available per WorkSource Lanes own web page. Sure hope that the staff here is better than during last recession where I was threatened more than once with abusive tactics if I didnt agree to apply for jobs 100+ miles from my residence which were not even remotely related to my work skills and over 80% less compensation than previous work. Found job on my own thank heaven - these people are not only unhelpful they are bullies.

Extremely helpful people and I love that they have a lot more staff members than when I use to go when I was younger. The wait isnt too long if you go at the right time. The staff is eager to help and take a good amount of time to teach you techniques on the computer to find jobs.

They have a couple of good people but many more are very unhelpful and rude. Some of these good reviews are probably people that work there. A little empathy and understanding towards the unemployed should be expected, but many of them are arrogant and obviously don’t care about helping people with finding work,

Being forced to stand up to use computer sucks. Then having to stand at the counter only to have to sit next to someone that stinks like an ash tray. Lets see how pointless this is and how much time they waste of me sitting when I could be looking for a job.

Came in to get the WIOA application from the front desk as the employment specialist told me to do.The gentleman at the front desk ask me the same two question they ask every time I go there. One, have you done your NCRC and two, have you talked to an employment specialist. I answer yes to both questions and he still refers me to call and make an appointment with an employment specialist. Its like the people that work the front desk have no Idea what is going on there.Long story short after I rase my voice to get the attention of the supervisor, who still has to check on weather I have my NCRC and have seen and employment specialist, I finally get the application... that was at the front desk... like the employment specialist told me, where it would be.This place and the people there are a barrier to gaining employment. Please stop pushing the NCRC its a joke.Kevin H.

Id rate them a 0 if it were an option. With the exception of one employee, the staff at this location are terrible. The classes are a joke. I cant beleive our federal and state taxes pay for these services. As far as I can tell the only thing they serve up is unprofessional conduct, terrible customer service skills, judgemental condescending attitudes, a short temperment, a general disdain in trying to be helpful, and a complete lack of ethics and job proficiency. A shame really.

Staff is typically polite and helpful, however, wait times to speak with someone can be very long... Someone (i.e. staff) should create an online meeting method; something like live video-meeting (such as Skype), and/or instant messenger with screensharing to allow for resume review, etc. Online meeting methods will not only cut down on in-office wait times, but they would also provide people living outside of the Eugene-area (i.e. Creswell, Cottage Grove, et al) with a far less costly, and less time consuming means of attending required meetings and such....
