Dave and his crew are top notch! I took my truck to another local company when I was getting sensor warning lights and a tire that wouldn’t hold its air pressure. They claimed to inspect it, said it was fine and sent me on my way. When the sensors kept sending warnings, I went to Schweitzer’s for further inspection to find that all four tires were waaaaay overdue for replacement, along with the sensors and alignment. Dave and his crew had the parts in within two days and the work done in the time and for the price they quoted. My truck is running smoother than it has since I bought it. They even swapped out my windshield wipers when I couldn’t get the new ones on myself and made sure my chains were still a safe and proper fit for the new tires. I am so happy with their quality of work and integrity, I won’t be taking my truck anywhere else again!

There are a lot of choices when it comes to auto repair shops in Eugene and Springfield, but I only take my car to Schweitzer’s. I can rely on Dave and his team to keep me informed about all of the upcoming “milestone” services, filters that need to be changed and all of the things I know nothing about. Took me in at the last minute for a simple but time critical task.

My car’s upper radiator hose blew in 103 degree weather 30 miles south of Eugene in the middle of 900 mile road trip. I had my car towed to Schweitzer at just as they closed so was forced to stay the night in Eugene.They were able to make the repairs before noon knowing that I was needing to get back on the road asap. I was truly astounded when they told me 15 min before noon that I would have to wait another hour while they went to lunch. I was on en route 3 miles away and they simply refused to let me pay and pick up my car.I’m writing this while sitting outside of the shop. Haven’t even seen the repair yet so I can’t speak to their quality of work but for customer service, they failed miserably. It’s really disappointing to see this lack of empathy from a service provider.

1 Star because it won t let you give zero! Run from these guys! Dropped off a travel trailer that they were supposed to do an inspection on for a buyer. The buyer had been out and looked it over the day before where they were shown that door had some damage but we had a replacement door that went with the coach. After having it for 1 1/2 days I stopped in to see when they would be done and was told by the guy at the counter that he didnt have to inspect it because he walked around it and knew it wasnt going to pass. I asked him how he knew this and he said because the door is damaged (duh!) and he said he saw a couple of bubbles and could tell there was dry rot (No he didnt open the wall up to see ... he just knew) and lastly he said because you are asking way to much for it. Thats funny because we hadnt negotiated a price yet because we were waiting on the results of his inspection first.Here is what he didnt know (among many other things) I had just had the trailer inspected by a real 5 star RV Repair facility and had he taken the time and done the job he was being paid to do he would have discovered that:a) The buyer knew about the door and the new doorb) the roof had just been completely resealedc) Everything in that trailer workedd) The trailers book value was $14,300 and we were only asking $9,975 and were willing to either fix anything he found wrong or to reduce the price to offset anything else.This cheese dick thought he knew the market on pre-owned travel trailers and he doesnt know sh$% from Shinola. These guys are dumber than dirt and its easy to tell which of their reviews are real and which ones were written by them. What a burden it must be to not know how incompetent you are. As this mouth breather proved there was simply no end to incoherent nonsense that rolled out of this guys mouth. I left their shaking my head in wonderment knowing with certainty that this guy wasnt sharp enough to operate his own home appliances let alone an RV. Every Time he tried to speak he subtracted from the sum of all human knowledge ..Avoid this place like the plague

We have taken our motor home, two different trucks, and our SUV to Schweitzers many times over the years. They always find the problem and will call with an estimate before they fix it, as they should. I am a mechanics daughter so any time I have a vehicle repaired, I enjoy seeing the part that was replaced. Not because I dont trust the mechanic, but just because I like to see what was broken, bent, too loose, burned out, plugged, seized or whatever. Schweitzers keeps the parts and lets us look at them and I appreciate that.We trust Dave completely with our rigs. We have recommended Schweitzers Automotive to many of our friends and they all have had good results. He has been in business a long time and is honest and very competent with both gas and diesel engines. He may not be the cheapest in town but if you want it done right the very first time, take it to Schweitzers. Dave wont disappoint you.

Schweitzers has been taking care of my cars since 1995. I have always been pleased with the quality of work and the price for repairs. The counter help is top notch! The shop really does a good job of keeping you informed about the state of your vehicle. I am always advised when repairs may be needed in the future. Over the years Schweitzers has taken care of my two Volvos, Plymouth Colt, two Intrepids, and my current Toyota Camry. I would not hesitate to reccommend Schweitzers to anyone who want good work, a fair price, and people you can trust.

When I worked for a local Government Agency I had brake trouble on the service vehicle that I drove. I took it to our government mechanics several times with the problem, they could not figure it out. After a close call in the snow with my boss as copilot he told me to take the truck and get it fixed. I called Schweitzers and Dave said to bring over. They called the next day and said they had found the problem. They fixed the brakes and they were better brakes than I had ever had on that vehicle. I drove this vehicle for about 10 years.

Had a good experience with Schweitzers recently. They solved the transmission leak and repaired an anti-sway bar connection. The cost was reasonable and the work was done well.

Absolutely the worst service ever. Took them upwards of two weeks, extended the deadline three times, and charged me way too much. Insane, never going back.

75 chevy van. I will not be bringing it back to them for any repairs. Ever! After a month and a half i get a remanned carb installed. they used cut up coat hanger pieces for my choke linkage. Really? Charged me for washer fluid and the pump dont even work. wow! I will not trust then to touch my van again.

I have a newer mustang gt and needed some custom work. Dave and crew installed a pro-comp suspension, exhaust and changed the gear ratio. I have never seen such quality work. I never even knew the techs were in the car. Not a mark, spot or handprint. Yes I am kind of a fanatic when it comes to my cars. Next, Dave will do a massauge on our NEW corvette Grand Sport. It seemed like a good place to have my auto serviced and was mostly routine work. Replace the fuel pump and filter. Quote was accurate and job was done on time. Next repair different veichle get engine analized and find what is causing the missing. Needs new cables and plugs, ok thanks I will do that myself. Cost was $80 for the info, No problem. They call back and say I need a new hose for my radiator cost total will be $60...I say what the heck just do it. They call back and say I need to come to the store. I arrive and learn that my radiator flange was broke taking the hose off. Now I need a new radiator. $550 Installed. I am PO! No I will take it as is and fix it myself. Then the Fu*%$^s charged me $48 for the upper hose and $30 to attach it to my now broken flange, with a warning I should not drive it home. I limp it home buy new radiator and install it myself for $118 and 2 hours labor.I will never go back there again.

Average work as mechanics but on the business side of things a total nightmare. Inconsistencies with scheduling and pricing due to employees incompetence with using computers. I know that sounds harsh, but I honestly dont know how else to put it. Honestly, its just laughable at this day in age for a professional.
