This place is great! I bought my first diesel truck after getting a pre-purchase inspection here. With it being my first diesel I am so glad I found Randall’s. John talked me through all the questions I had and helped me feel more confident in the purchase. The truck I purchased had 194k miles on it so it needed some work to be in top shape for use with my business. They got me in and the work was done in a very timely manner, considering all that need to be done. John, Marvin and the team are very personable and easy to work with. The pricing is also very fair.

Honest shop one of the few around the pricing is high but thats because if quality parts. But you can know that John has a steller reputation.

They fixed the car quickly. (Fuel filter + relay) They also added extra parts (new battery, sensor, etc). I was fairly sure my car didnt need a new fuel pump, so I cancelled that operation. I was able to negotiate a more reasonable price.

This is the best shop I’ve ever worked with. They’re honest, loving, and won’t take advantage of your lack of knowledge when it comes to cars. This is hands down the best place you can go to. Thank you for always taking care of me! ❤️

I used to take my car here for oil changes, and they did a good job. However, I decided to stop giving them my business after they told me I needed a $400 oil pan. I wound up taking my car to a trusted mechanic back in my home town for a 2nd opinion, and he was able to fix the problem without replacing the whole pan for $50. I would recommend you get a 2nd opinion from another mechanic for any big ticket item this shop recommends- you might save yourself a lot of hard earned money.

Top Notch Service! We had purchased a used car & within a couple weeks on my weekly commute from Sunriver to Eugene the service engine light came on & my car lost speed! Worried we bought a lemon I was terrified & a frantic mess to find a shop. I called a shop that advertises on radio & so happy they never answered their phone! I started reading reviews & Randalls sounded positive & trust worthy. John was understanding & was able to look at my car that day. Providing me shuttle service back to work. When I called back the next day cause the car acted up again. They came & picked up my car for me! John ran diagnostics on it again, didn’t find any error codes but decided to change out a spark plug (on his dime), & explained the issues. He also took time to look up the VIN # & researched the history of car & its services! Talk about going the extra mile! John also wanted to see the car for one last check before I made my next trip over the mountain & didn’t charge me for that check up either! John really put me at ease, was thorough, affordable, fair & accommodating. Im very appreciative to John & his amazing team & for making me feel like I was their only customer. You owe yourself & your auto the care you will receive at Randall’s! The care & compassion shows & they have something special here! I look forward to my oil changes & any future service needed! My car has been running without issues since! They earned my trust & I highly recommend them!

Superior service! FIVE STARS!!! Highly recommend. We were traveling through Oregon when our truck broke down. Not only did they stay open after hours to get us fixed and on the road again. They made us feel at home. Super nice and friendly staff. We were back on the road in a few hours.

Im new in town and it is very refreshing to find Randalls automotive. They werent trying to push sales like every other place. Customer service is beyond good (thanks to barry! And to whoever I spoke with over the phone) I left feeling taken care of, I wont bring my car anywhere else.

They explain all work and are very reasonably priced.

To summarize, they diagnosed the problem quickly, prioritized needs from wants and explained how each effected the overall costs to me. Theyre work was reliable and didnt leave me wondering what I got for the money. I would recommend Randalls.

You pay extra for good service and versatility.Randalls offers things most auto shops dont including email reminders and free shuttle service to and from their garage. But you do pay a premium for these things, and Ive been finding out its a big premium.I went in for an oil change and they recommended about $1,200 of repairs on my car, about $400 of which I believe is necessary. For example, they asked $220 to flush my transmission and Advanced Transmission Service did it for around $150.Likewise, a radiator flush was $220 here and another place quoted $130. If its worth your time to get everything done at one spot but pay a 40--80% premium, then go ahead.Its not for me, but Ill keep getting my oil changed and tires rotated here for $25.

My entire extended family has had our vehicle maintenance and repair done at Randalls for nearly 2 decades and have always had our needs met with expertise, honesty, fair pricing and good nature. I cannot recommend John and his crew highly enough. Their service and integrity are impeccable.

I called 6 other shops before I called these guys. All the other ones told me they didnt work on Suzuki Samurais. Finally, I found Randalls, they told me to bring the car 2 days after my call. For my surprise, they found what was wrong and could have it all fixed within a day. Fast and great service got me hooked and now I wouldnt take my car to any other shop. Im very grateful and impressed with the service of Randalls Automotive. They replaced my radiator almost 10 years ago with a lifetime warranty with 800 Radiator and it has sprung another leak. Truth is I didnt remember that they offered a lifetime warranty on the part, nor did I keep my receipt. When I called, they were able to quickly locate the original receipt and informed me that the part was likely still under warranty. Had I gone anywhere else I highly doubt that they would have been able to pull up my records from that long ago. I now live in Boise, ID and they were able to coordinate with 800 Radiator to have the new part delivered to my mechanic in less than 24 hours. Its not easy to find a mechanic that you trust. Although I no longer live in Eugene, I was treated as a valued customer. I highly recommend Randalls Automotive and 1 800 Radiator.

I bought a used car that had a lot of problems. They were kind enough to help me prioritize so that my already limited finances did not take such a big hit all at once. They took time to explain what was happening with the car and didnt make me feel stupid for not understanding to begin with. They were also quickly responsive to follow up calls and emails when I had further questions about the work that had been done.

My van broke down 3 weeks ago. We live in Swisshome. It was 4:30 p.m. on a Thurs. John from Randalls drove out to check to see if it was an easy fix. No go. My van was towed to the shop, John drove me there to register the car and drove me to a car rental to get me a car for the night. My van was ready before I had to turn the car in next day! I am very impressed with the added value services that the owner and Barry provide. I brought in my BMW for maintanance and repair. They reviewed my extended warranty contract and pointed out the red flags. I asked them to check the condition of my engine oil to see if I should have it changed. Barry said that my engine oil showed no signs of needing to be replaced which saved me money. Repair rates are very reasonable and approx. 30% less than the dealer. They were always ontime and my vehicle runs like new. I will definitely be a repeat customer. If you are looking for an honest and professional automotive service shop, look no further.

Our first experience at Randalls was pretty positive, but our second will be our last.Maybe its a busy time of year, but they did not check their work. We took our car in for a fairly basic fix, but the ride home revealed that the problem was worse than it started after paying $200. They were nice enough to tow the car back and refix it. Another $400 later, and the car is noticeably worse yet again on the ride home. This time, they want $800 to fix it. Even if all of the repairs were legitimate, the fact that they gave us back our car worse than we gave it to them TWICE is inexcusable.

The best and most honest mechanic Ive ever had. Ive been going to Randalls ever since John bought and I wouldnt think of going anyplace else.

I brought my 06 Subaru STI into Randalls for its 90k mile maintenance:Change oil and filterChange coolantChange front and rear diff. gear oilChange auto trans fluidChange brake fluid(Spark plugs had been replaced recently)(Air filter had been serviced in the last 10k miles)I had a great experience with the shop staff. They recommended that I replace my timing belt, (not due until 105k miles), and I agreed knowing that I would save some money on labor since it would be easier to access the timing belt when they flushed and replaced the coolant.I was then given a couple different options for service packages, one including a tune up and emission service, another including the timing belt and what I had thought would be the rest of the 90k mile service. (Emission service and intake decarbonization are not standard in the 90k maintenance for 06 STIs.)I opted for the package without the tune, thinking I would receive a new timing belt along with my 90k maintenance, (listed above), and believed to have received stellar service up until today.After taking my 06 STI to another shop for an airbag recall, I requested a multi-point inspection to make sure everything in my car is running smoothly before I sell it at the end of this year. Lo and behold, the second shop has told me that the diff fluid, brake fluid, steering fluid, and Oil ALL need to be changed less than two weeks later.Understandably, I phoned Randalls to see where the wires got crossed thinking this could be an honest mistake, and to see if there was some way we could work a deal out. Randalls response was that it was my fault, (I didnt take the package with the tune up and decarbonization), and that I would need to bring my car back to them and see what they recommended... again.Long story short, I went in for a 90k maintenance, was upsold on a new timing belt, didnt receive the services I originally requested, and now they want more money to fix the problem I had brought them to begin with - classic bait and switch.If you have received service here recently, I highly recommend getting a second opinion from a different shop to make sure that services have been properly rendered.

Brought my car in to get fixed and got charged 100$ to be told they couldnt help me because it was carbeurated. Not the best place if you have an older ride youre trying to keep on the road.
