Last year on Feb 6, 2017 we had a house fire. We lost everything. My truck was parked next right next to where the fire started. (See the before and after pics). Gayle Shelby--SHELBYS AUTO ELECTRIC was the only auto repair willing to take the repair on. I had no comprehensive insurance--and relied on the funds from the GoFundMe page my loved ones had set up for me. He created a miracle as far as Im concerned!! He found a new/used bed, rewired the lights, and replaced a few other necessary parts. His initial consultation and subsequent updates kept me informed all during the process. Its been over a year since this horrible event, and not a day goes by I dont thank Shelbys when I get into my little almost-blue Ford Ranger truck. Ive recommended him and his repair shop every chance I get. Incredibly knowledgeable, hard working, extremely fair pricing..and an all around wonderful nice person!! Thank you Gayle!!

Great people here. They have saved me so much time and headaches. I took my boat here after trying g to fix it for hours. They found the electrical problem in 15 minutes. I have also taken an old mercedes here and they were honest with me and told me it wasnt worth investing the money into fixing the power seats. Very laid back and easy going.

Needed a vintage tractor starter repaired, called him up, he said no problem.Fixed it while I stood there. it has been working great for a year now.I would have paid way more than he charged for his repair.I never give out recommendations, so when I say I recommend you use this guy it means something!

I drive for a living; if Im not driving Im not getting paid, so downtime is costly. My batteries (my truck has 2) died overnight and the lack of part caused an error code that prevented my ability to work until fixed. A neighboring shop was recommended, but I saw this place and the guy working out front and decided to inquire. I was in and out in under an hour. He also checked my alternator, because he believes in doing a thorough job. He could have charged me a rush fee or made me wait, but he did neither. The price for the batteries and other work was very reasonable. I live in WA, but could see myself coming back because of the very quick and competent service I recieved.

Gail the owner is so honest and so affordable be sure to get a bid on any electrical problems. Please get a bid from him before you give any other company your electrical your business.

Gail at Shelbys is simply the best Auto electronics systems guy in the area that I know of. Went in with a bad starter off of an off-brand forklift the week before Christmas, and three days later I had the reman starter in my hands (last one on the West Coast). Gail knows his stuff!

Owner/operator is very down-to-earth, honest, knowledgeable, and has been in the business for decades. Got a much better price replacing my alternator than at other shops. Keep in mind that its pretty much a one-man show; dont expect limousine service, unless its your limo thats getting serviced!

Really a great experience here. Small shop that does electric work and does it well. The owner / mechanic is friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy, and prices are very reasonable.I was told to go to him by Les Schwab (who dont do electrical work and recommend him), and Im glad I did.My car had an electrical problem (wouldnt start, no clicks, recently replaced battery), and I had no idea what could be the problem; but he knew exactly how to diagnose the problem, what the likely culprit was, and fixed it within a couple of hours for less than what some other places were charging just to get it in to look at it!Its the kind of experience that you always hope youll get when your car breaks down, but rarely do.

This guy is awesome! He answers many questions and explains the background unlike a lot of other mechanics, is patient, and has very reasonable rates. I almost got ripped off at Joes garage for a $400-$500 quote for a truck alternator and Shelby only charged me $220.

I had a squirrel chew up some wires under my hood. I took it to Shelbys he quoted me $200 when I called him to see if it was done.he told me he saw my brake lights were not working so he fixed that and a couple other things I hadnt told him about, now every thing works right on my car and it all totaled $214 and it looks great !! Thanks so much. Ill be back if I ever need anything else done
