Went in today for an interview, completely shocked. First, before I say anything, I want to say Justin was a complete gentleman & conducted the interview with absolute class. Reason for the rating is because of how the company represents itself online, over the phone + what they portray vs. what they actually offer. Upon applying for the job, I read on the posting, as well as being told over the phone that this is a marketing firm. It is not. Coming from someone who went to school & graduated with a Marketing degree, I can tell you this is not a marketing firm, its a sales company. I applied for the Brand Manager position, and couldnt have received more of a opposite job description once in-person. To start, I arrived on-site to a almost empty building with no direction on where to go, and nobody to contact. After about 10 minutes, I found the suite with a sign taped on the door with packing tape. Major red flag. As for what they actually do, they have a contract with a large company called Inspire that specializes in renewable-wind energy. What they want is for employees to stand at local grocery stores, and demonstrate/sell the product for Inspire. Again, nothing against the company or anyone that represents them, but please know what youre getting yourself into before you take time out of your day to pursue this.
