Great experience... quick service

Great customer service! Highly recommend!! We were on our way to a wedding, and our tired was warn down and dangerous to drive on. They got our vehicle right in and got us on the road in less then 45 minutes. They found us the best deal and took great care of us.

Just great, got the job done. Feels good to have new tires. No hydroplaning! Thanks everyone

I would NOT recommend Pomps in Escanaba to ANYONE. The customer service I received was atrocious. If I could give zero stars and still be heard, I would. I bought wheels and tires there. They were not installed properly. I had purchased a protection plan but the guy in the front office refused to help me. I had to threaten legal action to refund the protection plan. I took my vehicle to Mr. Tire and they fixed the mistakes that Pomps made. I will never set foot inside Pomps again. Possibly the worst customer service Ive received, ever.

These guy’s always give me prompt, courteous and professional service. The prices are very competitive and sales desk representatives are knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend the Escanaba Pomp’s for your tire needs.

They are fast and courteous. I keep returning to them. The tires they sell are better quality than the cheaper ones at the big box store across the road... May have the same brand name on the tire but big quality difference.

Pomps is an excellent business to deal with. Personnel are extremely friendly and demonstrate a consistent attitude that they really care in customer satisfaction. I wont buy tires from anyone else. Great place and super people!!!

This one store just seems to be hard to deal with and it could be me..but had 2 tiresmounted 2 days ago one they didnt change valve stem and went flat took truck back and was told I had to disconnect the trailer..ok I said..can u bring me out a jack like the other day and was told no this is today and that was then left with bad attitude towards Jim the manager..sorry no excuse for that behavior..I believe in customer service..any other Pimps have been good to me..this one needs a tune up!]

Pomps Tire Service does excellent work! They completed a front end alignment and tire balance on my Toyota Rav4. My vehicle rides so smooth! I highly recommend Pomps to make your vehicle road ready, especially for winter driving.

Called on short notice when we had a flat on the way through town, they were extremely friendly and got our tire patched up in no time for a reasonable price. Even brought the tire to our truck after to save us the walk! Great service.

They took my vehicle right away and performed every service that I needed.Very efficient.When I lived near Munising, I took my vehicle to Pomps in Marquette many times for tires and mechanical work and they always did great work.

We are always impressed by the speed of work and pricing of services at Pomps. Whether it is regular maintenance or an unplanned emergency, they have always done right by us. Highly recommend!

Always had what I needed. A great place to go.

I drove an hour to the escanaba pomps to get an alignment done. And it didnt happen the way tech that was supposed to do it came in and said one of my stabilizer bars were bent and both front wheel bearing were shot. This was absolutely not possible as I had just had both front wheel bearings replaced in March of this year. So after being told this I went to my normal shop that changed these parts out and found out it was nothing more than a someone wanting to go home earlyI will keep going here for my tires but never again for anything mechanical. I dont appreciate being lied to and my money and time wasted and to top it off now I have to wait yet another two weeks to get in somewhere else.

Really nice people here.I was driving across the UP and noticed I had picked up a nail in the tire. My hotel, Comfort Suites, recommended Pomps.I dropped in first thing in the morning and they looked at my car right away. Pulled the nail, let me now it had only gone into the tire tread shallowly it an angle with no damage. They checked my tire pressures all around and sent me on my way. Very nice, and no charge.

At the Escanaba Pomps, theyre very friendly people. When they found additional problems, they showed them to me, asked for permission to also fix those issues. Happy with the results and the car was returned clean.

My go to tire shop, Fast service and very knowledgeable along with great prices! Even had lock lugs on a car with no key and they took the car in a popped them off in a few minutes and I was on my way! Never left unsatisfied! Also check with them for tires, they usually have the best tires and better prices than any shop around!

I was told that Id have to wait about 4 hours but when I told them that I drove an hour to get there and had nothing to do to kill time, they got on it right away.

Love this place. Knowledgeable, helpful, and honest. I’ve learned the hard way, only go here for your tire needs. They will take care of you for a great price.

Life savers! Drove all the way from Maryland to visit an old friend for the weekend in Escanaba and woke up facing a long drive home and a leaking tire! I was on an incredibly tight schedule to get home and the wonderful people at Pomp’s squeezed me in and fixed it fast! Thanks again!

Made an appointment to get my summer tires put on the rims, which are larger off road tires. I asked if I should bring the wheels off the vehicle and was told No, its the same price so bring the truck in. I got there early and they told me my tires were more than 3% larger and they couldnt put them on the vehicle but could mount and balance them. So I had to borrow a jack from my uncle (they wouldnt let me use one and Im a licensed mechanic) since they were closing at 5 and it was 4pm, and had to pull the tires off one at a time and have them swap them. I was actually fine with that. What PISSES ME OFF is that I labeled each tire on the bead and right above it Left Front Inside Left Rear Inside, etc. and explained to them to put them on that way since they cost $400 a piece and wanted even wear and the guy said Yeah I figured you didnt want that on the outside. They put EVERY ONE on backwards. Little punks probably were mad they had to actually work til 5 on a Friday. I didnt notice it when putting them on because I was on the street and it was hot as hell so I was rushing. I got home, saw the screw up, and theres nothing I can do. Shouldve learned when I went there as a teen and they said they put parts on my car yet I looked at the invoice and not one thing listed was on the car. They still charged me over $1000 because the mechanic no longer works here so theres nothing we can do. Never again will I go there and will advise ALL of my customers to STAY AWAY FROM POMPS ESCANABA. Theres a reason I do all my own work, looks like Im buying a balancer etc.

Was in a bind with my daughters car not being safe to drive due to a bad tire. They got me in short notice and it was done in less than an hour.

Showed up at 7:30 on a Friday morning with one flat tire and another with a nail in it going flat.They were crazy busy, but told me they would get me in when they could.I was on my way home 400+ miles from Escanaba and they were great with keeping me updated on how much longer it would be.Very knowledgeable and helpful without charging me a fortune.I will always come back here if I have a tire issue.

Mac and the workers at Pomps in Escanaba MI are to be commended for great customer service. We had a flat on our 25 RV and needed a new tire before we could continue. After an early morning call Macs answer was sure we can do that!?Within 5 minutes of our arrival at the shop they were working on replacement. We were out in an hour. Hats off to Pomps in Escanaba and to Mac. It is truly abt a positive attitude when it comes to customer service.

Not recommended. They charged me for a tire installation on a set of tires I ordered from Goodyear, however, they did not install the tires...I had to call Goodyear to straighten it out.
