Had to use them for the first time about a week ago. My son locked my keys in my van. Had to call them out for a lock out. They said it would be 30-45 minutes and they would be there. They were there in less than 15 minutes. Was very fast and affordable. I have already recommended them to a friend that needed a car towed. Will use again.

They arrive on time, they take their time they do a very professional job. I would never use a different towing company in this area. They are the best that you can get. They are reasonably priced and as I said do an awesome job every time. And I say every time because Ive had them over 14 times now between my personal vehicles and company vehicles.

Don’t let this company tow your bike after you almost die in a wreck! They will charge you $350 bucks and prey you don’t pick your bike up. They told me that there was no way to get my bike back because Ohio will not come to Kentucky for an out of state inspection! Which they did and will! They knew The bike wasn’t completely in my name they didn’t think I was going to be able to get my bike back! Once I was able to get my bike back finally it would not start due to them cutting the start button. It was a clean knife cut! As a businessman myself I’m sure it’s not the business and it’s their employees that they can’t babysit 24/7

I was driving on I275 from Columbus Ohio to Alabama when my Gmc Sierra broke down. I called several towing companies which said they could not help until the next day. After being stranded with my son for over an hour, I was told to call Smiths Towing. That was the best decision. Eddie said he would come and he arrived earlier than the quoted time. He wasted no time assisting us. I was towing my deceased fathers car with a Uhaul trailer. Eddie quickly and safely loaded both vehicles. He was more than Professional, courteous, sympathetic, and helpful.After delivering my vehicles to their storage center, Eddie took my son and I to a local nearby hotel. Unbeknownst to me, he had called in advance and requested we get a room at a less expensive rate. Since that night, Eddie, Matt,and Chubbs assisted me with trying to find local repair shops in or near Erlanger, Kentucky. I also spoke with Christy at Smiths Towing. She was more than helpful. Ive never met her in person, but I could tell she has a wonderful personality and caring heart.I can honestly say that the staff with this company is more than amazing. I am a Police Officer and former tow truck driver. Ive dealt with towing companies in my personal and professional LIFE . NONE of them can compare to these guys at Smiths Towing. By the way, their prices are more than reasonably fair and a hell of a lot cheaper than their competitors. I would recommend them to everyone in the area and those traveling abroad. The driver was very nice, however I was not happy with my experience. My van was partially in a ditch, no damage to my car. It could have been driven however they chose to pull my car out sideways by tow straps through the wheel spokes which broke my axl, bracket,tie rod,ball joint & bearing. Which the police officer noted in his report. This then required my car to be towed 1/4 mile to my house. They original wanted to charge $385 but because I complained and told them I didnt have that much in my acct, they dropped it down a little over $130. Which does not cover the cost of what it takes to get it fixed. There were other ways of towing my car out of the ditch without destroying it.

A driver decided to use my driveway as a turnaround spot to get to a tow job instead of the culdesac. As he backed in to my driveway that has an incline, his low clearance truck damaged my driveway. The driver didnt care about his wrong doings until I went out to take pictures and call his office. The driver also tried to use his boots to buff out his damages. This was last week and I still have yet to hear from Joe at the office that assured me he would call back.

They do provide accurate timely information as to when they will show up. They are always very professional and get the job done safely. I would have given them 5 stars but Ive seen them drive around the neighborhood (without a vehicle) quite fast, and for that I think they are in the spotlight to slow down when in route.

Eddie and Henry responded quickly and were able to pull my car out of 2 feet of mud from about 500 feet off of the main road. We desperately needed help in the rain and they were the only ones who would willingly pull us out. They were light hearted and their price was more than fair. Excellent service.

Perfect service. AAA call for a tow (car stuck in park). Rob showed up right when promised. Very polite. Professional. Knowledgeable. Understood the issue with the vehicle. Having been a mechanic his entire career, Rob was able to quickly identify the problem, fix it, told us why it happened, recommended future actions to prevent it from happening (use your parking brake while on a hill), hug, and drove off. I have had nothing but great experience with them, you dont necessarily want to have experience with a towing company, but they have been great with communication and follow up.

3/3 times Ive had the pleasure of dealing with Smiths in the last month or so, theyve gone above and beyond in their service. Theyre response time is the fastest Ive ever dealt with. Their price is the lowest in greater cincinnati, Northern Kentucky but you dont sacrifice in service. They go above and beyond to try and get you back on the road if they can before towing you. They have great phone skills and are easy and simple to deal with. If you need a tow, theyre who I will use from now on and who I would recommend.

They are fantastic. This is the second time I have needed a tow and their driver, Eddy was amazing. He went above and beyond to find a tire discounters that could work me in real quick for a flat repair the same day! I highly recommend them.

Quick response time. Ball joint came out of the tire and tire was sideways. Instead of just dragging the car, the driver adjusted the tire and did what he could to ensure the tire wouldnt damage the quarter panel. Kind and knowledgeable young man. I believe his name was Alex. Thank you.

Holiday weekend lifesavers!!!! Blew a bearing on my boat trailer last Thursday on my way to Lake Cumberland from Columbus, OH just south of Cincy on I75 around 11:30pm. After the gracious Kentucky State Police took my 2 daughters, 2 of my daughters friends, and our chocolate lab to a local hotel and out of harms way, Eddy was on the scene just 45 minutes later. Eddy was polite, professional and most of all knew what the heck he was doing. In a matter of minutes we had my fender off, the axle spring chained and and I was on my way to the hotel. Eddy followed me to the hotel to make sure everything towed ok on just the one axle. He was terrific and I could not have been more happy with the service I received for the price I was charged. Thanks Eddy and Smith’s Towing. You saved us!!!

Unfortunately, 1 star is the lowest I can go. I have Triple AAA Plus and from the beginning the driver was not co-operative. He said that I would have to pay for a bigger truck to pull me out which Triple AAA covers. I have Triple AAA Plus for a reason... I insisted that he tried and that was my mistake. The driver asked for my keys to put the truck in neutral and jammed the airbag key (NO CHEVY SYMBOL ON THE KEY) into my ignition and ruined my ignition. I filed a claim through AAA and Smiths Towing denied the claim. I had to get my truck towed to a locksmith to fix and when Smith towing showed up again, I denied the service. Not sure what else they could break at this point. The driver noticed my vehicle and said oh that was (for this post no names) so and so that did that. The owner and the manager, I guess as he didnt identify his position denied the claim after not following up with my phone calls. If you want a bad attitude and your vehicle broken, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SMITHS TOWING... :(

Had to call them from Ohio to have them repair my wifes car at 9 PM was there quickly and repaired her car on the spot, so glad there was some place close to where she was that would the the job for a reasonable price.

I couldnt of asked for better service younger guy(mid 20s) came whipped the tow truck right in the tight driveway an literally had it unlocked in less 30 seconds. At this point in time and after I have read the reviews I have cone to the conclusion that if your car is towed elsewhere it is safe but....if its towed to their lot w any valuables then dont expect much back I went there today w a power if attorney to take care of a friends affairs and they refused a legal power of attorney thus far keeping approx 8000 in his possessions stating they needed a stamped seal w a notary s signature so were getting the seal and returning will keep u posted to what they do next after we jump through this hoop

After being annoyed because I needed a tow, my driver showed up very quickly and we were back over to Cincinnati at the car dealership in no time! Keith, the driver, was very nice and helpful and I would definitely recommend Smiths Towing to anyone.

My pickup was locked in a ditch a few weeks ago and I unfortunately had to call AAA to get it pulled out. Smiths showed up and I was in my truck on my way home within 30 minutes. A simple service, not a bad price and I had no problems.

Tow the Trailer with Regular truck for 10 Miles charged $390.00 and storage charges $60.00 per day. Price too $$$$ high compare to another towing companies. Staff is extremely rude as when you discuss for the pricing. Make sure shop around before you using them.

His driver left me in the rain without a coat. The driver was sent out by AAA, when he arrived he told me that he couldnt tow my van with my roof box on my car. No I wasnt happy about that because no, noone had told me I could have attempted to take it off in the 45 minutes had been waiting. . I told him that I didnt know if I could get it off and I guess he had better sit in his truck while I tried. SO no rain coat just a thn jacket no hood, in business clothes, pants and a low dress boot, in the rain I climbed up on the my van to remove my roof box. Right as I opened it up, the driver just drove away without another word leaving me stranded, cold and wet. I called the company and the managers response was no he shouldnt have left you there, sorry about that. Ill talk to him. That didnt do me any good whilst I sat for another two+ hours waiting for AAA to send me another tow truck. I called him back and told him that I was going to have to wait another hour and a half for another truck and that maybe he should do the right thing and send one of his people over. I guess he doesnt believe in customer service because no one came.

Tow Truck Driver drove in the left lane for several miles, not passing traffic in the right lane. Cannot believe this guy passed a CDL test. Running a rolling roadblock for no good reason is a poor representation of your business.Surely there are some better drivers you can hire than this.Wrecker was driving on KY 9, 5:30pm, 02/05/2016. Check your records and educate this driver about ONLY using the left lane for passing and returning to the right lane for traveling.Since they work for and represent AAA, maybe AAA can help educate them about not holding the left lane when other cars are attempting to pass right lane slower traffic. Otherwise, AAA would be better off to get someone else.

Had to have vehicle towed. But they were there quick and fast service. Driver was very freindly and definitely knew what he was doing. On 8-16-2018 I had a box truck I own get stuck in a ditch/driveway entrance in Hebron Ky. I Just googled tow companies in Hebron and got Smiths. I called to request a tow out and as fast as I could give the call taker the info they had someone in route! Within 15 mins a truck had arrived and pulled my truck out. Unbelievable! My truck was back in service making deliveries in minutes. I highly recommend this company.

Cant say enough wonderful things. Eddy came to our rescue. He got to our house within 25 mins of the call and we live about 20 mins away from the towing company. When he got there he sat in the car and got it to start lol go figure, right! He told us it might be a bad battery, he followed us to Auto zone to get it tested (he didnt have to do that at all,how nice is that?) The battery was in fact bad. We asked Auto zone if they changed batteries and they said no they just sell them, without hesitation Eddy said Ill change it. So we went inside and got a battery, by the time we came out he already had the old battery out lol he changed the battery in all of five seconds. This man needs a raise hands down. Thank you for saving the day Eddy, you are so appreciated and I will forever recommend you! Thank you so much .

Terrible service. First they sent us to the wrong building (just fyi, their address is 1495 dolwick road, earlanger, ky 41018), then once we found the shop the gate was closed. We had to call to let us in, which they got snotty about needing to call to get in. Once we were there, they charged us exorbitant fees that we were never told about. Finally, to top it all off, they lost our keys, and basically told us we were sol.The few mechanics that we met were nice and friendly, but since you have to deal with the horrible administration I would steer clear of this place.

Was in a car wreck feb 2016 and smiths towing towed my car. when I went to retrieve my items everything in my car had been thrown into the trunk my wallet had been gone thru and EVERYTHING taken out of it and thrown in the trunk. I also had a 1000 dollar gold necklace from kay jewelers I was on my way to return when I got in the wreck and when I went to retrieve it the necklace bag and receipt were all gone. I contacted smiths towing and they refused to do anything about it. I WILL NEVER USE SMITHS TOWING AGAIN. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF THEIVES

Think twice before calling Smiths Towing!! After breaking down in the area and not being able to reach my usual towing service it was suggested by local police to call Smiths---big mistake, but maybe you can avoid this---read on! Adding insult (breaking down on the side of the road) to injury, Smiths managed to damage my car in the two mile tow back to their shop (which they charged me over $80 for, while my tow company only charged $50 to tow over a ten mile distance once I promptly called them to get it out of Smiths negligent hands). I watched them put my car on their truck in perfect condition and when I arrived at their shop 20 minutes later to deliver the keys my windshield was busted. They deny an wrong doing and say it is not their responsibility but was an act of God---ok... even though the car was in their care, Wayne, the owner, has refused to pay for damages. I spoke to the him on two occasions and he became beligerant on the phone--yelling in my ear---great way to run a business! So in short----there are plenty of reputable, attentive, careful, prudent, sensable, reasonable, trustworthy, honest and local towing companies in town--- and Smiths Towing isnt one of them---BUYER BEWARE!!
