I was having a diabetic shock episode + called for MPS. Driver blew right past my home even though a have large house numbers posted. Main paramedic questioned me as to what was my issue. He totally discourged me to seek medical help at hospital by down playing the seriousness of my medical state. It shouldnt be up to the medic to decide how ill the patient is. I should cancel my membership. Zero stars would be appropriate.
Dealing with MPS Billing and Director has been a nightmare! Nine months ago MPS received a decision by C2C Innovative Solutions an independent arbitration that decides bill disputes and found in my favor. MPS is ordered to refund what they billed me out-of-pocket. I still have not received my refund. Does MPS even have a Board of Directors? MPS also received payment from Medicare! They reported me to a Collection Agency at four months while the bill was under dispute. Yet, 9 months after a legally binding judgement against them, they still have not refund me almost $1,000. The Collections Agency harrassed me by phone and threatened my good Credit rating. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!
On November 28, 2019 (Thanksgiving Day), I needed to go to the hospital in the evening. The ambulance (Millcreek Paramedics) responded quickly and the 2 gentlemen were very polite, professional and promptly got me to the hospital. In my opinion, they did a wonderful job. Thank you for your service.
Denise in billing was wonderful! She explained my billing concern in great detail, I appreciated her time! She was very comforting.
Based on the (mis)information they provided, insurance denied my claim and now I am looking at a bill for nearly $1000. It turned out that had listeriosis, which is fatal 20% of the time, and I spent three days in the hospital followed by 3 weeks in a nursing home with IV 24/7. I have never felt so sick in my life, but their personnel were unable to correctly evaluate me and see that I was not capable of driving myself to the ER in the middle of the night when I needed immediate care.
Owe them money and tried making a payment plan to stay out of court they want half of the amount up front. I told them cant afford half the amount and they said then they cant do anything else for me and we will go to court. Pretty sad when you cant come up with $600 right off the bat so they are going to take you to court even though your willing to set up a payment plan with them. Make sure you dont use their services, or they will take you to court.
Millcreek ambulance services at Millcreek Erie county are some of the most rudest ignorant unprofessionally well known EMS crue in the area I had to get up and walked out and get to UPMC hospital through Emergy care instead from the city of Erie
Terrible I was hurt Arm bleeding coming out of my car after dialysis at the millcreek mall center they were about 20 feet from me setting waiting for a ambulatory man, I waved my arm showing blood pouring from arm, they claimed they never saw me! I called their director and complained He said the crew never saw me bleeding from 20 feet away Thats BS he went on to say They are NOT OBLIGATED to HELP ????
