Steve was very unprofessional, he displayed a full toddler tantrum when I asked him a series of questions about the cost of a certain repair. He got very impatient and was just plain rude. So the lesson here boys and girls is, dont ask questions about the cost, just let Steve rip you off in peace.

Amazing service! Steve got my car in quickly and didnt charge an arm and a leg. Seriously--he quoted me $400 less than a chain mechanic shop. The shop was clean and he was very professional. He even showed my my old parts and explained to me what was malfunctioning. Dont pass up a chance to support this local business!

Steve was very accommodating. I was in the area for vacation and my breaks needed changed. He was able to get me back on the road very quickly and for an extremely reasonable price. In addition to his great work on the car he was so kind and helpful.

Steve was extremely hostile to me when I called. I had a couple simple questions, and instead of answering them professionally, he decided to inform me how much his equipment cost, and that he couldnt guarantee an upfront price, even for something as simple as an oxygen sensor replacement on a Honda (I even knew which one needed replaced!). It just seemed shady. If the customer knows what he needs, just give a quote and move on, right? He also got angry when I asked if I could stay while my car was being fixed. I understand that some places dont have a safe area to wait, however there is no need to answer such a simple question as rudely as he did.He eventually stated that he didnt want me as a customer, and told me to go elsewhere if I wanted an upfront price. At that point, I just hung up. Never before have I called a place, offered to pay them to provide a service, and was treated with such disrespect. Although Ive never been there, by how I was treated on the phone, Id recommend spending your hard-earned money elsewhere.

Steve is a rare find. Very honest, knowledgeable, and fair. Steve will make sure he takes his time to find out what is wrong with your vehicle, explain things in a logical manner, and fix it for a reasonable price. His goal is to make sure you are satisfied with the work. Steve truly cares about his customers, and will go out of his way to help you.

I had a busted strut mount on my 94 Camry and Steve was quick to diagnose the problem and fix my car. I found Steve to be an honest, and straightforward mechanic. The price he charged me for labor and parts was very fair and reasonable. I was very surprised at how quickly he had my car ready to go. His work was of high quality as well.I would definitely recommend Steve if you need work done on your car. He seems very knowledgeable and honest--qualities that are indicative of a good mechanic and a good person. If I ever need my car worked on again, Steve will be the first one I call.

I went to Steves at the recommendation of one of my co-workers. I expected this to be a similar experience with the other auto shops I went to before (Nolans Auto Shop and Angelos Transmission) - Needless to say those places were OK but I wanted another consultation (My car - 89 Mercury Grand Marquis - was having transmission issues). After explaining my situation to Steve, he very thoroughly explained to me what was wrong, what repairs my car needed, showed and explained to me the difference between good and bad parts for the transmission, gave me his price for the repairs, and even recommended me to Automatic Transmissions of Erie for a cheaper price! Steve didnt have to do any of those things for me - Being a college student (and obviously being strapped for cash) made my situation even more difficult, but because of what Steve taught me and the direction he pointed me in, I was able to get my transmission rebuilt for much cheaper than what the competitors were offering. Steve comes off as well-educated, and being an honest, but fair man. I highly recommend Steve and would go back to him in an instant with any other auto issues I may experience.

My daughter goes to LECOM and her car died. I needed a repair shop ASAP to help me determine if I should fix or junk her car. I looked online and Steves Auto Repair had great reviews. I called Steve & he was able to look at her car that same afternoon. The transmission failed & I decided to junk the car. Steve did not charge me for looking at her vehicle or storing it overnight, until I could get it towed away. I highly recommend Steves Auto Repair to all the students at LECOM.

Where to begin. I was driving from Kentucky to upstate ny and my alternator went out on my truck. Called a few shops and no one answered my out of state number. Steve promptly answered and came to rescue and met me within 10 minutes and the alternator was in and out in no time at all. He was not interested in repairing my vehicle at all. Was not sure what to do and not sure how much it would cost. Every time I asked him about cost, he would say why I am concerned about cost if I am driving an expensive car. This is not something I expected from a mechanic.At the end he actaully said, I dont feel comfortable with you as a customer First time I ever heard these types of words, I just hung up right after.
