4 times denied to have State Inspection done at Volvine in Epping, NH. There’s always a “reason”: The inspector is not in today; “irs a 45 minute inspection and we don’t have time today”; “There’s o lily 2 of us today”. I was told torço-me in at 8am, and here I am, wasting my trip AGAINI worked in Massachusetts and the Everett/Chelsea location is awesome, very professional team.

I got an oil change at valvoline and they asked if my car was having trouble starting or if it was stalling. I said no. They said my battery was low and it should be replaced. I said my husband will do it. They said ok just do it before winter. Then they finished my oil change and I left. I noticed my car was chugging 2 seconds (literally) after pulling out. I get around the corner and it stalled. I restarted it, put it in drive and it stalled again. So I had to call my husband and when he pulled up he had me pop my hood and told me there was a hose that goes to my engine unplugged. Plugged it back in took it for a car ride and it was fine. He said there was no reason at all the hose should have been touched. It’s no where near my oil stuff. And that for it to be unplugged you had to really pull on it. So basically (it seems like) they unplugged thinking I would go back and pay the $187 for a new battery. But instead I sat in 100° Weather in my car with my two little little kids. And we had to stay in the car as it’s on a busy road that would not have been safe to get out on with how young my children are.

These guys in Epping are actually super kind, care about the customer, and its all done on the fly. Completely commendable - they even do state inspections without appointment.

Jeff is knowledgeable and friendly and knows how to manage his staff. Rest of staff works well together to help get customers in and out in a timely manner. Prices are a tad high but justified with the level of service received.

Clean and quiet. Good Covid protocols. Free shuttle to MHT. Definitely recommend

This place is great. The staff is courteous and professional. I love the fact that ibdont have to get the kids out to wait for a ridiculous amount of time in a waiting room. Just pull up and everything is done while you wait in your car.

Worst experience Ive ever had at the epping location. Went for car inspection. Talked with Alex. I asked if something would be an issue. He assured me no that shouldnt stop the inspection. I said ok and to come back in 45 minutes. I did only to return and have Alex fail my inspection for only the one item we had discussed before I left. He then said we need to charge you 50 ( 11$ more than the state fee) and you can only come back on these 2 days in-between certain hours to have it done again. Other wise go somewhere else and pay again. They wont do any work. Alex was very unhelpful and terrible customer service. Didnt seem to know what he was doing and gave me a line of BS that it would be good and then had me wait 45 just to fail me on the item that we discussed as soon as I drove in. I wouldnt have had the inspection performed if he was going to fail me on the item we discussed. Last time Ill ever use valvoline after my experience with Alex

Due to the shift in season to fall, I needed to up the air pressure in my tires (spare included), add winter grade oil, add one wiper blade and check all fluids.What I like about this place is they are able to take care of such things quickly and efficiently - while you remain in your car. The only negative is that their pricing is a bit higher than other comparable companies.

They put my air cleaner up side down when changing my oil. Not a great place to get an oil change. Also they try to charge you what you dont need. Dont go to any of these fortune 500 companies

Very friendly and helpful. They did not push me to get things I did not need, and they were respectful when I said I would replace something elsewhere. I was in and out in in a timely manner. Overall a great experience!

Fast, efficient service. You dont have to get out of your vehicle. Pricing is a little expensive but probably to be expected for the convenience factor. I was able to find a coupon on their website though.

I was pulled in for an inspection. Headed over my registration and got out of the vehicle as instructed to sit and wait. Then I was told to pull back around and wait as someone was ahead of me. I waited while they finished an oil change in a different bay and then pulled that car in for inspection. Over an hour later it was my turn. The guy doing the inspection took forever as he just kept leaving my vehicle and disappeared rather then doing the actual inspection. The waiting room was closed so I had to wait outside in the heat and sun at midday. All of this was after having previously having been told they would be doing inspections all weekend and when I arrived I was told no one was working on inspection that day which was Sunday part of the weekend. The entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth regarding their level of professionalism awarness and customer service. A most disappointing experience.

I wanted a full synthetic oil change, rear differential fluid change and tire rotation on my 2020 Acura RDX. Jeff the manager made sure it was all done right and everyone was efficient and friendly. Very good experience!

My first mistake was to go on Saturday morning, waited 45 minutes in line only to find out that they dont service diesel vehicles. The staff was very pleasant, but a sign at the entrance would have been nice.

Good for quick oil change but thats about it. I was told my belt was frayed and they didnt have one in stock to replace it that day. Kid didnt seem to know too much about anything I asked, including when it would come in, if it would be under warranty, price etc. I was told he talked with his manager and for me to call them end of week to see if it was in. I called Thursday they said the delivery wasnt here yet and to try back tomorrow. I did and they said it would be here the following Thursday. I dont think the order was placed, and why am I doing all the calling,? And Sanel had the belt I needed in stock. So brought my car to my regular mechanic to have it done, just need to Leave my car for the day. Just figured I could of had it done at Valvoline while I waited and gave them business.

Went in today(5/21/20) for an oil change and inspection. Friendly staff as well as efficient. Keep up the great service.

They were awesome got me in and out very thorough and informative told things that might be a problem down and passed me on inspection because they werent probles yet!!!!! Definitely will be coming in near future also did there part above and beyond with social distancing and sanitizing!!!

Probably wont be back here, i was already warned not to come here but i needed an oil change and i figured maybe someone was having a bad day.... wayyy to many people in there crowded in there looking all scrambled with only 3 or 4 of them actually working but u know what thats not the point. One of the guys went to take my dip stick out and broke off the top of it... which hey mistakes happen i know it wasn’t intentionally done... but i was told that in order to be re embursed for the dip stick i had to go to a dealer ship and have them replace it and they will fully re emburse me how nice but what i dont get is why do I have to go out of my way and find a Volkswagen dealership ( when i try and avoid them) hence why i went to a local shop its less to deal with. My thought instead of the guy having me run around which i didnt break it.... also they had had noted on the computer... broken dip stick... didnt say “ we broke it” come back for my money so how is the next guy to know the situation? Quickest thing i could do was go to a auto part store and get a new one! I should of had that taken off the amount of what i paid for to begin with so i dont have to do the run around.... when i dont even live in town... thanks for the disappointment guys....I’ll atleast give a 3 start because the kid who greeted me and got me set up in the computer was super sweet!

Pulled in at opening 7:30 am. There was a car at the first bay waiting to be serviced. I wasnt sure if I should pull to the second bay, or get in line in the first bay. Not once, not twice, but thrice times I asked the attendents where to go and they turned their backs to me. I left.

Ive been here twice now and love it! It is so quick, and the staff is really helpful and nice. The first time they told me all my filters were clean and didnt need to be replaced, which I liked because it showed they were not trying to sell me something I didnt need. When I went back the next time, they needed to be replaced, and I gladly did it knowing they were not the type to tell me every time I needed something additional. They didnt pressure me into anything, which is the main reason I keep going back. I highly recommend this place, as a working mom the convenience is priceless!

Polite, professional, and did not mess with things. The technician on charge of my vehicle, on a pop-quiz, knew how many quarts of the proper weight oil. Every technician was very polite and courteous- even to me... Price is the only reason they did not get 5 stars. I have changed my own oil for the last 15 years, so take my price comment with a grain of salt. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Never in my life have I felt more strongly compelled to write a positive review than this one. Very polite, efficient, thorough, and honest. They reset my change oil soon indicator light without needing to be reminded, and they verified oil pressure and level before calling it done. Topping off all fluids was appreciated, as was the care they used while working on my car. I look forward to using this company in the future, and would have no qualms whatsoever about sending my daughter, my sweetheart, or my mother there to have their vehicles serviced. Its too bad that more companies dont follow this example.They truly set the standard.

We waited for 15 minutes to pull into an open bay. No one came out to speak with us about wait times, so we pulled away. We didn’t even get acknowledged while we sat there. I have never had an experience like this at a Valvoline before. We usually are directed to pull right in, and someone checks us in immediately. After looking at other reviews, this seems to be a common issue at this location!

We came here in the middle of a road trip because our rental car tires were low on air. They added air to the tire for free and checked all 4 tires! The wait was only about 15 minutes and the other customer was friendly while we waited. 10/10 recommend!

Sat as the next car in for 25minutes before driving away. Watched the cars to the left and right of us go in and out that showed up 15min after us. Not once did someone come out and explain the situation finally had to just drive away because it was clear the car in the middle just wasnt being worked on.

I got a conventional oil change which includes an oil filter but i got charged 10 extra dollars for the premium filter which i never asked for, also got charged an additional $4.79 for extra oil. On the website it says that a oil change includes the oil filter. Unfortunately this is not the case. My fault for not looking at the receipt right away and having them email it to me. Never would go back, extremely expensive and expect hidden charges. I recommend going to a local mechanic where they can provide the same services for half the cost.

Went in and there was confusion at the drive bay. Guy came out and shuffled cars around. People backing up, leaving etc, a bit of confusion. Paid around $50 for an oil change. The person checking the oil pulled my dipstick out at an angle and broke the top off. First they told me that it was already like that. When I went home, I put the top back in and it was so shaky there is no way it would have stayed in during normal driving. I asked to talk to a manager, he looked and told me that it was rusted and corroded. Its made of plastic - that cant happen. Had to get the dealer to fish the rest of the stick out. The dealer told me this happens and is common when people are not careful and break them when they attempt to pull them out at an angle instead of straight out. This place, workers and manager did not take responsibility and tried to explain things away so id leave. I did leave. As far as Im concerned, they owe me $17.10 for a new dipstick (The dealership pulled the broken one out for free). I would recommend finding a coupon and use other businesses that provide fast oil change service. I will not be back.Update: They are making the situation right, so I changed my review to 3 stars.

If your inspections have a cut off time it should be listed on your site. We got there at 6:07pm and got denied, they werent doing any more inspections today....?

The place is clean and they eventually get the job done, but everyone there works in slow motion. They show zero signs of kicking into a higher hear when lines start forming; so it’s clear that they just don’t care. The attitude seems to be, they don’t pay me enough to work hard”. Very disappointing and it doesn’t bode well for the career path of anyone who works there.

All I have to say is wow! After weeks of trying to get in the garage I normally go to for an oil change. I finally decided to go elsewhere. It legit took 10-15 mins. I couldn’t believe it. They don’t upsell anything there either. Great customer service as well. Deff will return.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! They tried to STEAL money from me and I had to contact a store manager considering they pocketed my change. My total cost for an oil change was $106 and when I gave him (Devon) a 50, 3 20’s and a 10 I only received $3 back after he clearly couldn’t count it and asked his co-worker (Chris) to put it away... Not only was my money taken literally right in front of me but I was never shown my oil level. They closed my hood and when I asked to see the oil level and I was told I “don’t have a dipstick” (by Chris) WHAT?! I proceeded to tell him that I do have one probably 5 times before he would even walk over to check and I popped my hood again because I was amazed that I received such horrible service already with handling my money. When the passenger of my car (who has changed my oil in the past and knows exactly where it is) told them he would show him (Chris) where it is he told him very rudely to “remain in the car sir”. I was FINALLY showed my oil level by a totally different person who wasn’t even working on my car considering Chris walked away when he found it (was clearly annoyed that I called him out) MAYBE if you actually looked we wouldn’t even be having an issue! I went back for my change after speaking with someone and the gentleman (who gave me back my $10) was very nice about the situation and apologized for my experience letting me know “you don’t have to have a high school diploma to work here” Don’t even bother going to this place unless you want problems

Loved the fast service. I didnt even have to get out of my car. The service was first rate. The only I didnt like was its a little higher priced than some others. But, I will use them again just because of the convenience.

The best service!!! Car broke down after oil change service at my home. Turns out a spider (not joking) wedged its way into the air intake sensor and I called and then Noah (service tech) came out 20 minutes later and fixed the problem. Everyone should be getting there car serviced here

I am giving 3 stars because they did do a good job with the oil change and tire rotation however the tech who moved my car to the lift bay for the tire rotation stole a few things from my car. Manager did take care of it but left me with a sour taste in my mouth

I came here for the first time several months ago because I found a groupon (which, incidentally, was not for this location but that was a problem with groupon, not Valvoline). Despite being unable to honor the groupon, they offered me a discount and they regularly have an online coupon for $7 off.Theyre slightly more expensive than some, but with their website savings theyre about average, and even without that the price is worth it for the service. Its extremely fast, and takes less than 30 minutes even if you have to wait behind someone. All of the staff at this location is helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable and their management is great.As someone who has worked primarily in customer service, its important to me to be treated as I would treat someone at my job. Ill go out of my way to give my patronage to companies and specific locations that I find value customer service, and I will always get my oil changed here for that reason.
