Consistent internet connectivity, with great customer service whenever there has been a rare issue. Maintenance is usually done during off hours, so you rarely ever notice downtime.The cable bills took a huge rise, so my 5-star review is for the internet ONLY. When it comes to the cable, it brings them down a notch. I wouldnt recommend the cable services, as they skyrocketed over the years, and became unaffordable.

We have had our cable thru Blue Ridge for many years & have always had good service. This week I stopped into the office to pick up a new remote as ours had stopped working and the ladies working there were super friendly. And fast, I was on my way with a new remote in under 5 minutes!

Seriously tho I dont know why they offer great package deals and they will work with you to find the best package deal for your needs. Sometimes even lock in a special price for a hole year. BR internet has to be the worlds worst and most costly for what you get. They have a TOTAL monopoly on internet in this area. On a zoom board meeting last Thursday, I was dropped 4 times. I pay $60 for 100 mps and constantly have unstable connection pop up when zooming. When compared to friends in other parts of the country, they pay less for faster speeds and dont drop you when zooming. If possible, I would switch to another this afternoon.

I just moved to Ephrata and was not familiar with Blue Ridge at all. The customer service was great with helping me pick a package that worked for me. They were able to get someone out to my apartment quickly to get me set up. I am teaching from home right now due to Covid 19. The internet has been awesome! It never freezes while I am online with my students like my old internet company did. The internet is fast and I get a lot of great channels on the TV. All of the employees I have dealt with have been kind and professional. I am really happy with blue ridge so far.

New to the area, you need to be a more reliable company and take lessons from other counties service (Service Electric). We have the highest service available and paying top dollar. The internet is TERRIBLE, it freezes, cuts out and we get kicked out. The cable freezes and we get TiVo messages at 9-930 pm every night that I have to unplug or shut tv off and on then wait 10-15 minutes.

Quality and service were great. For the 3rd time we are leaving Blie Ridge Cable. This is the first time we left there internet service! But each time we leave for the same reason....its very simple...cost!The monopoly is over people! The Ephrata area now has another Cable and Streaming TV service to match along with internet!Its a shame they make no attempt to keep long term customers happy with just comparable pricing. I contacted them twice before I left to give them fair warning and a chance to even come close to Xfinity/Comcast and Blue Ridge made no attempt!If you are frustrated with Blue Ridge dont be afraid to move on. I got 1.5 gig of internet speed vs. .5 gig, more channels including EPIX movies, free service and installation and free Netflix which saves me an additional 13.99 a month plus 64.95 a month on the monthly for a total savings of $78.94.Not bad XFINITY/COMCAST you just saved me $927.48 a year for the next 2 year contract with no price increase for and even longer period of 3 years!Thats $2841.84 over 3 years to leave Blue Ridge. Good luck staying in business!Take it easy on the employees they are good people and do a great job. The management at Blue Ridge is incredibly stupid!

*Provides overpriced internet with latency and ping issues that they will not resolve. Ive had blue ridge techs to my house 5 times (techs were always very nice) and still have Latency and ping issues daily. The last tech said he thought it was an issue with the cables on the street and was going to request a crew to come out. I was told they would inform me when they came out so we could verify if that fixed the problem. Another month has passed and whenever I talk to Blue Ridge support they want me to do a speed test and suggest another tech coming to my house to do what theyve done 5 times with no results.

We had to choose Blue Ridge or a dish service when we bought a new house. We didnt want a dish because you lose service during critical weather alerts. In 2 years, Blue Ridge has been out probably 8 times to address service issues and it never fixes the problem. For almost $300 a month for a residence, it should work. At least most of the time, right?Desperately waiting for fios......

We tried the business internet service and the quality/speed was consistently poor. They did send out help to try to fix the issue, but it continually returned. Their phone customer service was poor, very dismissive people when you try to explain difficulties in service. We consistently get transferred to another person and are disconnected when trying to communicate the issues. Communications companies should be better at communicating.They were very friendly and helpful when we signed up.

It would be nice if when having technical problems you could reach someone in tech support on the phone. I have a channel blackout problem and have rebooted the tv twice now. Tech support claims heavy phone traffic and I have not been able to get through. I am getting fed up with Blue Ridge and its high pricing and lousy customer service. I recently had an internet cable issue; reported the problem to BRCTV at 9am on a Saturday morning, and the problem (which was a bit complicated to repair) was completely fixed by 12:30. They treated me professionally, courteously, and made it clear that restoring my internet was important to them. I am glad to have an internet provider with such a wonderful service and work ethic!

Has to be one of the worst cable companies. Customer service is non existent. Kearston and Ashley wouldnt even get hired at McDonalds with how bad their customer service is. Everyone wants to up charge but cant explain why. My new promotion includes the second from the top internet which I get the best now and the same channels for $248. I pay $177. Please reach out to me so I can hear the next rep apologize 50,000 times but not actually try to help.

We use them for our internet and phones at our business, and while there are issues here and there over all the service for what we pay is good and when there are issues they are very responsive and always polite, professional and helpful. They will keep working on an issue until they can resolve it. Its a lot more than I can say for other companies I have dealt with.

Their customer service is horrible. They sent me a remote that was broken and tried to charge me $20 to send me a new one. For over 10 min, the girl Insisted that I had to pay for it until I demanded to speak to a supervisor & then magically it was free. I’m so sick of their gimmicks. Every year I have to call them to negotiate a better price when my current deal expires. You have to demand to speak to supervisors & after an hour of haggling they will offer you a slightly better price. So sick of this company and will cut the cable cord once my current promotion expires. Way too many other choices for TV programming for their terrible customer service. This is a time they should be stepping up their game. They’re not the only option anymore!

I’ve had continuous poor experiences with this “ISP” for about a decade. But when no other service provider is available sometimes you gotta eat the s*!* sandwich. They’ve been late to appointments, keep you in the dark about known outtages, take their good old time “fixing” outtages, and then report that they’ve been resolved when widespread interruptions still persist. If you have any opportunity to go with someone else, take that opp. Additionally, they way they open and close accounts is ACTUALLY mind boggling. I’ve moved a handful of times and literally have about 7 accounts with them. Logging in to pay a bill is an epic adventure everytime trying to figure out which account is active. And when your internet barely works it adds a whole new aspect to the mix.

Having Blue Ridge Internet is like gambling. Some days it works - some days it doesn’t. In the week of 8/26 to 9/2 I’ve had at least 15 outages. Usually at night, now during the middle of the day. I am a network engineer and I am sitting here with my testing equipment where signal strength states ‘Excellent’, but there’s nothing behind it.

I had to return a telephone modem because we were no longer going to carry telephone service via the cord. There was a line of people paying their bills and somebody else was returning equipment as well. they only had one person working but she was incredibly friendly and move the line fairly quickly. they have plenty of parking there but you have to be careful that its the furthest entrance down the hill and not the top one, which is at the studio.

When you are the only cable company in town you don’t have to care about anything. Poor televised channel choices, poor speed, poor “video on demand” network very antiquated and lack of choices. Blue Ridge in general is crappy. You can decide whether it is good or not after you have read through the reviews, but do yourself a favor and avoid the company. Internet is terrible and completely unreliable. Their TV service is completely garbage and cuts out all the time. Their new box that they distributed to every customer is worse than the old one. It it cheap and takes up 1/4 of the screen when you want to change a channel. The remote it cheaper than ever with buttons that dont work more than half the time. Every time I want to change the channel, I need to get up off the couch and even move around before I can get the signal from the remote to the TV. I wish they could be more reliable and would care more about the people and less about the money that they are so hungry for. So in conclusion, avoid Blue Ridge and any deals they offer you. Just remember that how much of a deal they give you never matters, because its never going to be worth your time or money.

Had an issue today with my Tivo. I called and spoke with a technician who took a lot of time to walk me through the steps to fix it. She also had a technician come out later in the day to check. Service cuts out many times daily for just a few moments and much longer at least a few times every month.I spent years having them blame it on my router or computer while replacing both multiple times. I decided to go with all their provided network equipment. It didnt help at all.Even when I have my plan set to gigabit, the quality is so bad that I cant make voice calls over the internet. Sure, I can download massive files quickly, and video that can buffer works well most of the time, but anything that requires network stability (voice or video calls, gaming) is too frustrating to even try.Prices are horrible. Data cap is very low for the streaming generation, and $10 for going over by 1 single byte, and another $10 for every 50 more GB is crazy.They also dont care at all. They are a government granted monopoly, so they couldnt care less about the customers and while the employees seem to be nice, the company itself doesnt even try to hide its apathy.

Last week I got a letter about the DTA mini boxes they will be sending out. The letter says you get two free boxes but call if you need more. Now the fun begins!1. No automatic number for ordering another box so you have to wait until the end of the narrative (push 1 for this, etc.) until a human picks up.2. The human says that even though my boxes have not been mailed out, I cannot order another box until they are mailed out and, presumably, I receive them. THEN I can order another box. So what is the point of the letter telling me to order more boxes now?I really cannot wait until the boxes arrive: Im sure the installation instructions will be really clear and easy to follow.

They are obviously price gauging customers since they monopolized the Lancaster area. Just checked to see if Comcast is here yet and they have pricing at 69.99 a month for TV and internet. While Blue Ridge starts at around 149.99 then jumps to over $200 and thats without HD, DVR and no premium channels. Customers should sue for price gauging. No wonder Yelp gives them a 1 star and they get a 2.2 rating on their own website reviews. Two years ago, I gave this company a 1-star review.Looking back, I was right to do so. But now, theyve really stepped up their game! Theyve increased their internet speeds TREMENDOUSLY, and all for free! Theyve switched to Digital, so everything on TV looks better. They added many more channels, all for free.When I had a problem, they came very quickly! Over $200/month for a service that doesn’t work when it’s supposed to. I have not watched a single episode of Sunday night premium tv without a minimum of 5+ interruptions. Audio cuts and picture quality freezes for 10-30 seconds. Often On Demand cuts out and says there was an issue, try again later. This is cut-rate/ overpriced cable. It’s a shame we don’t have Verizon Fios up here

Poor customer service and overpriced. Their site recommends a DOCSIS 3.1 certified modem for their Dream and GIG speeds so I purchased one. The modem worked great for a few months and then one day it stopped. It turns out that Blue Ridge stopped supporting that particular modem (Motorola MB8600). The return period for the modem passed and Blue Ridge only offered to lease me a modem, which is a total rip off. Their site still says they recommend a 3.1 certified modem, which is FALSE information considering how a very common brand (Motorola) isn’t actually supported. I ended up having to buy another modem. I wish they would do more to make things right with their upset customers. No good.
