They are more than helpful with food and they have a thrift store with affordable prices. The staff there are always friendly.😁

Staff do help when you are in need of food. The thrift store is nice but the cashier they have is often grumpy and impolite! which with her attitude makes it a poor experience.prices seem to have gone up $15.00 for a blueused canister set! i might as well get it new at Amazon. You have to keep in mind who shops there doesnt always have money like that or cant assume by apperance Mrs rude cashier.i often donate clothing and household items shoes etc.but with this person giving them a bad rep I feel like I will be taking my donations elsewhere. I have joined Ellis county little ways of charity on Facebook and find it more rewarding to help someone in need directly then deciding who is worthy of reviewing help.

Helping Hands thrift store is a great place to find a bargain. After visiting a few times, they will call you by name. It is a pleasure to go there and share a hug or laughter. It isa clean store and well organized.God bless them each one for the services they provide to those in need in their community!

They are really helpful to the community. Took a truckload of donations, but they didnt have room. Garage Sale season, sorry they​ couldnt take my stuff! They are the best place to donate. Love ya Tisha..

I DO NOT recommend Helping Hands.. The lady at the register is rude.. The employee are not professional... (Ex) A donation was made and a picture frame was one of the items but a family picture was still in it and one employee says well you know there divorced... Whats it to you on why that picture was left there ... You dont know the situation... If you must go there ... Get in and get out and keep to yourself....

Never had to have to ask for groceries bf when in need! Bc my son in law cant provide food for his wife or me! Im having to pay for the price of they have more bills going out than money coming in since my daughter fell & broke her shoulder @ the bowling alley in Ennis Dec 31, 2017. She has a job @ Wal-Marts in Ennis but shes been going to rehab in Waxahacie order to go back to work. Wont release her yet until shes able to lift so many pounds & above her head!

They have a lot of nice things sometimes they have new clothes like school uniforms.
