I went to Avenue Automotive to inquire about some very specific services that I needed performed on my vehicle. I met with John (the GM) and he took the time to listen to my needs and was happy to accommodate my specific request. Despite my non-standard situation, I was surprised with a very reasonable quote for the service.I went to drop my vehicle off to have the service performed a short while later and was treated with over the top level of service. The technicians performed work to my specification with great workmanship. I generally am extremely hesitant to turn my keys over, but I would happily have them perform work on my car again. I would like to give them a solid 5 star review and two thumbs up. I look forward to working with them again for future needs that are outside of my DIY capacity. Thanks John and crew!

These guys are fantastic. They are knowledgeable, rather fast with their work, and have excellent pricing so far. If they cant fix it, they give detailed explanations as to what is required. They helped me learn more about the basic motor functions of my car that I thought were problems (fan not turning on untilengine hits a certain temperature, etc.) but turned out to be very normal. Diagnostic fees are very affordable, and I didnt even mind getting charged to simply be educated about my car because the customer service was so excellent. They have my business wherever I can give it to them.

Called and made an appointment. They ordered parts to replace a/c fan motor on Lexus 460. They warned me it could be a 1 hr job or 10 hr., depending on what all needed to be replaced. I needed it right away to travel in family a caravan to the TX coast for a vacation. I never asked about cost. They fixed it in an hour. Everything clean and done. No surprises. And the price was very acceptable. I was so appreciative, and offered a substantial tip. They declined and just asked to remember them when I needed more repair work. That’s Top Shelf 5 Star in my view!

Took my sons car in, he was having issues with the car not turning over. He had just bought the car a little over two months ago and seemed like problem after problem. Finally took it here and these guys took care of us. I’m always hesitant with mechanics because Iv been screwed over so many times, but these guys are honest workers. I came to Ennis for a construction job and barely made it to the hotel with my wheel bearing about to lock up. Richard and his crew handled everything from getting my truck towed from the hotel to picking me up from the jobsite once my truck was fixed faster than I could have asked for. Everyone was super friendly and I cant find a single reason not to give them 5 stars

I was recently working in Ferris, triing to return home to Galveston. I took my F150 with a (bad lift kit job) in for an alignment. These cats worked after hours to get me safe enough to get home. No extra charge even though I offered. Amazing, what a blessing to have folks like this at your service.

I highly recommend Avenue Automotive! Was traveling from Conroe to Clarendon when Chevy Cruze check engine light came on. Everyone here was amazing, and super informative especially John!I had to leave my car and got a rent a car. When Enterprise didn’t show John insisted on driving us to their location. I was so grateful for everything he did to help make this situation less stressful! When I picked up my car John showed me the two parts that were replaced and pointed out and explained what caused the part to go out.

My wife and I were on our way from Missouri to Houston where I was to receive a treatment for cancer. Our car decided to have trouble in Ennis late in the afternoon the day before we had to be in Houston. We were referred to Avenue Automotive and was able to drive the car into the shop. Steve had the guys check the car and told us we needed pretty major work done and we would have to leave it. He called the car rental agency and Richard drove me to pick it up. We went to Houston, had the treatment and came back 3 days later. Car was fixed perfectly. Im used to my mechanic back home who is like a part of the family. These guys were the same way - honest, reliable and helpful in every way they could. If I lived in the Ennis area I would never take my car anywhere else. Hope I dont need them again but know they would be there if I needed them.

Been my mechanic since I moved to Texas 7 years ago. Rick is amazing and always willing to help with costs if the repair is high. They have squeezed me in even when super busy. They did last week in fact. I live in Mansfield now but will gladly make the drive to Ennis to continue to use these guys. Best mechanics around, speedy service, and friendly atmosphere.

Awesome customer experience! As a single woman traveling, I felt Richard was concern about getting me back on the road. This was Friday afternoon and they stayed late for me. Every person knows its really hard to find an honest mechanic/shop. Well I found the best kept secret in Ennis at Avenue Automotive. I was a customer that needed a quick but thorough assessment of two used vehicles that I was considering to purchase. The front desk staff person was very professional and prompt with getting me checked in and the inspection started. Upon completion of the inspection I received a text for the link of the digital inspection and I was totally impressed!!! I could now make an informed decision on the purchase. I needed help bad to continue my job in the area. They were very booked up, but worked me in out of kindness and understanding of the working man who depends on his auto to get by. The wait was as comfortable as any of best auto dealers waiting rooms. One or the macanics, the manager, and the owners all put the heads together to figure out the complex electric problem and give options on how to fix it or how at least get me by for now. I went to this place to buy Honda CR-V fully loaded version. I met Omar and he really was good at giving us the tour and all. When price quoting was going on. I felt the management quoted me with very vague figures and that were not feasible. And somewhere I really felt that the management was very rude. This star is only for Auto-nation Honda Management and 5 stars for Omar the sales guy.

Sometimes customers jump to wrong conclusions. The a/c in our daughters Acadia has had issues for a while and finally the a/c quit working. She took it to Avenue Automotive and had it diagnosed and approved the repair. Within 2 weeks it stopped blowing cold air again. We returned it to Avenue Automotive and they found a rock or something had hit the condenser and damaged it. At the suggestion of her uncle, our daughter filed a claim with her insurance and it was approved. It was totally unrelated to the first issue. This was the first contact we had with Avenue Automotive so it was natural (for me) to wonder about a new business when it came to 2 expensive repairs on the same system within a few weeks.I wanted to submit this review to help other customers questioning if they should use Avenue and also to give Rick and everyone at Avenue Automotive my appreciation of the service provided on her car. I would use them again.

Very quick repair. Had an alignment and brake job done on my old Tundra truck. Was surprised to get an overall inspection done on the truck, and the results with pics texted directly to my phone -allowing me to assess any further repairs I may want done. No up-sell, just giving me info. Liked it. Joe, in the front was cool... dealing with several calls from me.

I was on a road trip and had to stop in unexpectedly. They helped me immediately and did not try to rip me off or charge me for stuff I didnt need. So honest and friendly!!! I hate taking my car places because I never know if I can trust them. I wish I lived closer to this car shop. I highly recommend them!

Everyone here was so friendly and helpful. My car needed to be junked and there wasnt really anything to do for it but they helped as much as possible and even gave me a ride to the bus station. Having nice people help us out made being stranded a thousand miles from home a little less frustrating.

My daughters CRV went dead on I-45 on her way back to school. She found Avenue Automotive was nearby and had great reviews, so we had AAA tow the car there on a Saturday. Talked to them on Monday and they fixed up the car perfectly (replaced the alternator). I picked it up the following Saturday early in the am to get it down to her school. We never got to meet Joe and team in person, but they were great to work with over the phone and did a great job. This old CRV has bought a little more time due to great service at a great price.

Took my truck here for major A/C repairs. I ended up paying over $1500 dollars for repairs that didnt even fix my air conditioning. Now I have a scratched and gouged dash that looks like holy hell. I had to Pay Ford to go back and correct their mess to only find out they left out my recirculating blend door!!! And they had my truck not once, not twice but 3 times and still couldnt get it right. These guys are not mechanics, they are drop shop you tube part changers at best. Dont be fooled by the nice waiting room. Worst shop experience Ive ever had. Joe that runs the front counter was also very rude and unprofessional and went so far as to hang up on me when i called with concerns. Unfreakin believable.

They gave my car truck back like this and said if they put it back together it will cost me because they dont work for free. It cost me $700 for them to take it apart. They had no sympathy. I was warned not to use them but I did not listen. Now I know!!!!! They will try to take you for everything you got $$$$$.

I normally go to Eds in Ennis, but I also have a 2012 VW Passat TDI that needed to have the brakes checked for mild noise. I called and spoke to the owner, Richard (Rick), who was knowledgeable and cordial on the phone. For anyone who owns a German vehicle, they know that finding the right mechanic to work on their vehicle can be a challenge unless you take it to the branded dealers, but then one must accept that they are always more expensive. They were able to diagnose the vehicle the same day I called.I found the grounds well-kept, the interior was immaculately clean and fresh, and they offered me complimentary beverages and snacks while I waited (a rare treat often only found at the dealerships in DFW). The restroom facilities were also incredibly clean.The mechanic and Rick explained the diagnosis thoroughly and laid out multiple options. In this case, the OEM brakes were semi-metallic and that was causing the noise and there was no need for alarm and the mechanic showed me that I had plenty of depth in the pads. I had recently done some research on the types of pads available and Avenue Automotive happened to have the type I had decided upon if that turned out to be the needed fix.An option of having them pull off all of the pads and treat them with a chemical noise reducer was offered, but I decided, without any pressure of enticement, to pay a bit more to simply replace the brakes with the ceramic type I had been looking at.They replaced the pads the same day, but I was unable to retrieve it; they offered to come in the next day -- a day that they were closed! -- to let me pick up my car.In all, I had an excellent experience and the pads are now completely silent when I brake again.Thank you for exceeding my expectations!
