Eric took over this business a few years ago and there is NO better place to take your computer. For diagnostics or repair, he is THE most knowledgeable, friendly and fairly priced shop in town! I recently bought a monitor from him as well- $ GREAT $ price and is just what i needed! Dont go anywhere else people!!

I have been using Geek Street for years. I first found them after trying to get Best Buy to fix a problem and feeling as though I was way overcharged for the very little help I received. I admit, I was a little skeptical at trying them out, but they have taken awesome care of my computers!! They always treat me with respect, fully explaining everything but never once making me feel like theyre talking down to me, and the prices are usually less than expected. I appreciate that I dont have to worry about up selling from them, they are always up front and honest, hard qualities to find now adays!

Gene Brown was diligent about fixing a blown fuse in the circuit board. He ordered a package of many fuses to obtain the one color coded fuse needed to soldered in to circuit board. It works perfect.

The guys at geek street computers always give FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The first time I took my girlfriends damaged computer there to have them see if it was salvageable, they took the time to address my problems and questions and didnt even charge me. A couple years later I brought in my own computer and Brett Smith took great care of me. He patiently listened to me ramble about all of my computers problems and then recommended what steps were necessary to fix the issues. He was extremely polite and professional during every interaction I had with him. When I came back to pick up my computer he took the time to explain everything they had done to fix my computer and answered a lot more of my questions. I also feel that what they charge is very reasonable. Ive always had great experiences working with them. I will definately continue to bring my computers here.

Ed is awesome, he knows his stuff. My PC was dead for three years, after my back -up PC died, I decided to take my better PC for diagnosis. Ed Identified the problem and allowed me to fix it myself. He went a step further and gave me a boot-able CD to restore my system. Thanks Ed, you da Man! The system is running awesome now! I spent only $40 for a diagnostic, I love the honesty and never once felt I was being up-sold. Not once did Ed try and sell me anything, Love it!Well, that is I spent $40 with Geek Street, he identified my Motherboard was bad, and I ordered one and replaced it myself.. in the end, it cost $122 for a MB and 40 for the diagnostic. I was so happy that there are places like Geek Street to goto!

After my laptop quit working I didnt know where to take, but always heard great things about these guys! I took it to them and they had it up and running in three days! This group of guys really know their stuff! I will always go back to them for future needs!

I took my computer to Geek Street a year ago to get my computer fixed after hearing rave reviews about the place from my fiancés dad that lived nearby. They fixed it and I didnt have any problems for over a year. Then my computer started acting up again. It appeared I had a virus. I decided to shop around this time to see who could fix my computer the fastest and the cheapest. Best Buy and Microcenter quoted me $140-$200 and 3-5 days for the fix depending on if they had to do a back up for me before or not. Then I called Geek Street and they said $80 not including the back up and 3-4 days. I did my own back up and brought my computer to Geek Street. They fixed it right there on the spot within 15 minutes! I am so happy! Having my computer is very critical for me and my job. Not having to leave it for any length of time really helped. Gene at Geek Street walked me through the issue and explained in simple terms what happened. I will remain loyal to Geek Street from now on. A local store that cares is really nice to have! I never write reviews, so this is a big deal in my mind!

Sadly, this company is not what it once was now that ownership has changed hands. They used to charge the minimal and even teach me how to do the work. The new owner will charge a ridiculous amount for a small job with the excuse that he has to eat. Whats he eating, porterhouses? Yes, he called me back and left a huffy sarcastic voicemail offering to do it for free if thats what you think I need to do to keep customers. But giving my computer to someone who is already upset about a bad review and could do anything to it without my knowledge seems a bit unwise. He should have just let it go. Besides, this isnt the first time hes tried to overcharge my family for work. He wanted $300 to replace one hinge several months ago.

My computer stopped working in our move. Took it in on a Saturday, and fixed on the same day! Friendly, professional and very reasonably priced.

Couldnt get my laptop to boot so took it in for repair. There was a connection issue and the gentleman had it fixed within 5 minutes. Ive been here before and I will always come back.

I recently bought a gaming pc online and when it arrived it wasnt working. I called the company I bought it from and never heard back from them when my brother recommended going to Geek Street. They got it up and running in about 1 1/2 days. They were super nice and if I ever need anything done with my pc I am defiantly going back.

I HIGHLY recommend Geek Street Computers! The guys at Geek Street Computers are great to work with. They accurately assessed my computers problems and fixed it quickly. My HDD had completely crashed; they put in a brand new 1TB HDD, installed Windows 8 and MS Office, and had me back up and running in 2 days. Also, they are still working on my old HDD attempting to recover my personal files, days after I got my computer back. Theyre pricing was fare and they only charged me for the components/services that I absolutely needed...NO UP-SELLING!

I needed a new motherboard for my laptop and paid an expediting fee to get it back as quickly as possible. They called the next day to let me know what diagnostics had turned up, as Id figured the motherboard needed to be replaced. I asked to please take care of whatever it needed as long as it stayed under $200.I had a sticky keyboard and my mouse barely worked (soda had been spilled on the keyboard before I purchased it) and neither of my USB ports worked but I was willing to live with it. Other repair shops those couldnt be fixed.I was a little frustrated because three days had gone by and my laptop wasnt ready after Id paid the expediting fee, but it was ready on the third day so I went to pick it up.They had replaced the motherboard, saved all my previous documents, installed XP, updated all the necessary programs and drivers, replaced the keyboard and cleaned the mouse pad and buttons and repaired one of the broken USB ports. As they were telling me and showing me all the repairs I was calculating in my head, knowing it was going to be a lot more than I could afford, around $300.I asked what the bottom line was going to be, looking right at the invoice and seeing the costs. The guy helping me looked up at the owner as he listed off the itemized invoice. The owner came over and said that while hed been working on it, the sticky keyboard and mouse was bugging him so he just replaced it to make the work go faster. He noticed the broken USB port and decided to just fix that too. They also downloaded OpenOffice which, granted, is free, but they didnt have to do that.The invoice was showing it was close to $300 because all repairs were on it, but the owner said I would ONLY be charged for what Id initially brought it in for, the motherboard. They obviously waived the expedite fee and didnt charge me for any of the superfluous repairs, paying $150 exactly, what I was told would roughly be the cost when I dropped it off.My 3 year old laptop works like its brand new, faster than my 6 month old PC.I wont go anywhere else because I thought the bottom line was much more than fair, it was extremely considerate.And regardless of what the other review says, I was treated with nothing but respect.Previously, Id taken the laptop in after Id dropped it and broke the LCD. I was just asking for the part and Id install it myself. They installed it for free on that visit, a $35 value.Keep up the great work, guys!
