I recently had an issue with my Majestic gas fireplace and after getting the part for it, Ken came and got the part installed and my fireplace was back up and running quickly. A week or so later it was discovered that the gas line feeding the pilot may have had a small pinhole in it that affected the pilot. Ken was back out and took care of that as well. I really appreciate all of Kens work......thank you !!

Customer service seems important to ANC. From my initial call to the completion of the repair I was provided very good service with friendliness and competence. Even on a busy post-storm day, a technician arrived within a couple of hours and fixed the problem with the AC.

First off, their service is fantastic. We had multiple projects for them in our home and they showed up on time, every time, which is rare these days for a service company to show up when they say they will. We began using ANC a year after we purchased our home and began experiencing problems. They were as responsive and helpful 8 years ago as they are today. The staff is very nice and helpful!!! The gentleman that came out to give us a free quote on how much it would be was very nice. Husband and I move in this house3-4 years ago. We decided to get our duct work clean and sanitize. Thank God because the 2 gentleman that were cleaning the vents saw 2 dead mice. Yuck.... Also we purchased I Wave purify the air. The gentleman put that in for us..The machine goes on when the furnace or air conditioning goes on. For pollen, mold and smell etc. Thank you all again!!😊

The team was wearing shoes protection on new floor, used blankets and even wall corners protectant. The spent cleaning many hours and recorded using camera what was going on in ducts. Called and made an appointment for furnace and hot water system replacement. Not a small job. You’d think they’d really want the business. Well, the person who was to come at 4 pm calls at 4:30 and asked to reschedule....from his home (personal) phone. Agreed to reschedule (no real other choice) and again...after waiting another half hour on day of scheduled appointment...I tried to contact to see “what’s going on?” No answer. Finally, call saying they can’t be there at scheduled time, but can come soon (whatever that means...soon?). By that time I had another commitment that I honor...unlike some. Third scheduled appointment for 4pm...4:30pm another no show or call, so I call main office and just cancel!!! Thanks for nothing. I guess you’re too busy for more business...went with Apollo. On time always!Update!!! 2/15/21As you can see (Below, response from president) I was kindly offered a $100 card for inconvenience. I thought that was very generous. Certainly not necessary, but said a lot to me about the character of the owner and company he represents. So I called to respond to his email and give my contact information. (Originally the case was under my wife’s name and his personal assistant said our name was misspelled in their records). Regardless, I called and thought it was straightened out. She explained to me he was in Florida but would check his email and get back to me. Long story short, no responses and numerous calls to them, from me to them...never them to me. If they don’t want to honor the card then don’t offer it...I’m not asking for that. Just courtesy. In fact the last call I was put on hold and then voicemail. Nice touch. I won’t be bothering them again. If they want to call, great. If not, no problem. I could only imagine if I’d used their services and had a question or problem. I’m just a lonely homeowner. I don’t write reviews and never wanted to write this one but this is how they’ve made me feel. I was really looking forward to writing a retraction to my first, cause I know “stuff” happens....but this seems to be a pattern. Sorry.

While almost literally next door, we had never used ANC’s services before but when the furnace stopped on a cold Sunday during a pandemic with a 94 yr old in the house, we called. They showed up in 15 minutes - really! Then the technician worked diligently to solve why the 15 year old system wasn’t working. And got it up and running. Unfortunately it stopped again the next night. And after another middle of the night service call, the same tech came during the day, again worked diligently to resolve the issue, and got us heat back, with this second visit at no charge.Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, informative ... all while being kind and wearing a mask.We will definitely be using them for all our HVAC needs going forward.

We have had many contractors through our business over the years and ANC is one of the best. The service was prompt and concise. On a really cold day (5 F) just before the holidays, our Furnace started to give up. We have little kids so this was an emergency. We called this local HVAC company (starts with a Au and sounds nothing like the spelling) that had done a clean and service a couple of months ago. The technician (same one who cleaned it before and charged us quite a bit) comes in and tells us the pressure switch is not working and that the motor bearing is gone and gives me a quote of $1500! Says we need to order it TODAY and he will come in next week and install. So basically we were to live with the cold for 5 days while we wait for parts. Given the emergency, we were about to say yes, but felt that we should get another opinion and called ANC. They recognized the emergency and immediately sent their technician, Keith. He was awesome to say the least! He also recognized that the pressure switch apparently not working but rightly determined the issue must be elsewhere and cleaned up the condensate manifold that was clogged due to a peculiarity with our old Carrier model. Once cleaned up the furnace was firing well and we have had no issues for nearly 2 weeks now! I am angry that the previous company would have made me shell out $1500 for nothing! Given that we had friends over for Christmas Holidays, I am glad that ANC helped make our home comfortable for a very reasonable price.

Tom the technician was right on time. He was very organized, efficient and thorough. After watching him work, Im confident my system is in good shape for the winter. He was also a pleasure to talk to as he worked. Id recommend him to anyone. The office girl who did the scheduling was also friendly and helpful. Overall great experience.

Tom was wonderful. He called early to let me know he was on the way. Upon arrival he was very curious. I brought he to the furnace where he professionallyChecked and cleaned my system and explained what he was doing along the way. He made suggestions for upgrades but was not overpowering. Ken performed maintenance on my Mendota fireplace. I thought there was something wrong with my remote.Ken called and spoke to a Mendota support tech, who, when presented with the remote issue, stated I did have a bad remote.Ken went back to the ANC office and secured a new remote. The same remote issue presented itself. Ken called a second Mendota support tech, who walked us through the remote operation. It turned out the first remote was not bad.It’s a long story, but I want to emphasize how Ken went above and beyond to make sure everything was in proper working order, and that I was happy.I have been with ANC for almost 20 years and will stay with ANC. They are the best.

Waking up to a cold house isn’t pleasant. Being new to home ownership we had no idea who to call, but we are so glad we called ANC. Called mid morning and by mid afternoon we had heat. Our service tech Troy was very friendly, polite and courteous. Within 10 minutes he found the issue and we were back on track. He even changed the batteries in our thermostat and made sure we had a carbon monoxide detector. We recommend ANC and if we ever have another issue, we won’t hesitate to call them again.

In the heat of 2018 summer, after shopping for air conditioning I selected ANC Heating & Air Conditioning. I was happy with the equipment, salesman Lloyd, and installers Jim & Cam. They were neat and true to their word with installation and scheduling. I am happy with calling the office and talking to Donna with any issues or concerns I had. Minor problem was resolved instantly by the staff.I am not sure how anyone puts up with the heat without air conditioning is beyond me. I would highly recommend calling ANC for any heating or air conditioning needs by asking for Lloyd and his team.

He did quality work and was very efficient in installing my new furnace, air conditioner, humidifier, and filter. And was very clean and professional. I would go back to them again. Furnace was installed within days of receiving estimate from salesman. We had ducts cleaned one day and furnace installation the next day. Installers were courteous and efficient.We love our new Amana Gas Furnace. The heat is constant and quiet. We appreciate the air filter and expect it to do an efficient job of keeping the house clean.Lastly, the salesmen and installers were wonderful. Friendly, efficient with their goal to provide us with the heating system we need.

Had furnace / AC installed couple weeks ago. Crew arrived when they said they would, put down drop cloths where they walked. Were done in 2 days as estimated. Price was competitive. We also had a gas fireplace installed several years ago that was also a perfect installation, and has operated great since. ANC does great work,out of all the places I called to get a quote they were the only ones who really seemed to know what they were talking about. I had a few issues after the initial installation and they responded fast and took care of it within the hour. I would definitely use them again.

Other then the technician not getting there during the window period it was fine. He was very polite and knowledgeable. he answered any questions I had and did a nice job cleaning my fireplace. The repairmen showed up and identified themselves immediately when I opened the door. They put on shoe sleeves to protect my floors and went immediately to the living room to repair our pellet stove. They reviewed the problem with me before beginning and asked a few pertinent questions and answered some questions I had as well.Then they set out a rug they brought on the floor in front of our pellet stove and went to work. The job was done in a very timely manner and both men were friendly and pleasant. They answered all the questions I had and cleaned up when they were finished. They had me turn the pellet stove on again and stayed while it was starting to work, to make sure everything was in good working order.The bill for the job was lower then I had originally expected it to be, which was also a very nice surprise.All in all, a very pleasant day and we are very happy to have our pellet stove working again! If and when we need service again for our pellet stove, we will be sure to use ANC.

We had the ANC techs out twice in one week to fix problems with both our propane hot water heater and furnace. They we able to install a new hot water heater in one day and new exhaust power switch/blower assembly within a few hours in each case. Service was very good and the technicians were very courteous.

Took time to explain what was going on and checked with others for additional options and quotes. They fixed the problem and provided me alternative options for improvements. I had issues with a grill I purchased here. Ultimately I was refunded my money, but it took 8 weeks to resolve, and way too many phone calls and texts. There was an overall lack of organization and I was given the run around a lot. If I wouldnt have stayed on top of things, it may never have been resolved.Most of the people I dealt with were nice, except for the owner, Lloyd. Ive never heard any owner/manager talk with such disrespect to a customer. Thats fine, Ill take my business and referrals elsewhere.

My LG combined A/C heat pump required service on a snowy day in January 2015. The technician called twenty minutes prior to his arrival and was on time. The work required multiple trips outside to the compressor. Each time coming into the house he put on protective booties for our floors. There were two calls to the office to discuss diagnostics. The service call took over 70 minutes, and all the time I was kept fully apprised of the work being done and the prognosis. The result was my LG A/C heat pump was back to normal after his efforts. I could not be more satisfied with the technicians promptness, courteousness, knowledge, thoroughness, and professionalism. I would not entrust work on my LG unit to anyone but ANC..

During a cold spell our furnace completely stopped running. I called ANC, their rep immediately put me in contact with there technician who was on call, after hours. Within a few minuets i talked with the tech and he was at our house to address the issue. He was extremely courteous, professional, diagnosed & fixed the issue very quickly!! After having dealt with other heating companies. I would certainly recommend ANCto everyone!

We recently had our furnace and gas fireplace serviced by Jim S. from ANC. I recently had a tune-up performed on my LP furnace. Jim S. did a wonderful job. He also went well above the call of duty by walking up my long, steep, ice covered driveway. I was told that I would receive a call advising me that the technician was on his way. A call that I did not receive. This call would have enabled me to meet the technician at the bottom of my driveway in a four-wheel drive vehicle. The call that I did receive after the technician arrived was very curt, informing me that the technician was outside my house but could find no shoveled path to a door and they wanted to know what I was going to do about it. I then informed that woman that I was literally on my way to open the garage door and let the technician in. I wish I could give a higher rating, because the service was excellent. However, the treatment by the support staff was extremely poor.

My 94 year old mother woke up at 2 a.m. freezing. Due to the record setting freezing weather, she had tried to raise the temperature on her preprogrammed thermostat earlier that evening, but inadvertently slid the button to the AC, which she doesnt even have. Nonetheless, in so doing, she turned the heat off. She called ANC, they went out, switched it back to heat and raised the temp for her. Thank you, Lloyd, for taking care of that situation for me. Been calling for over 2 weeks in trying to get information on the woodstoves they sell. Either LLoyd or Ryan were out on calls or on vacation. Left several messages for Ryan to call me back and he never did. The girl that answered the phone was very nice and assured me she would get Ryan to call me back. He never called back. If you cant get a callback on potentially spending a few thousand dollars on a quality woodstove then they will not get my business. They score a Zero in my book.

I recently had maintenance performed on my gas insert fireplace by Philip. This was the first time for this type of maintenance. Philip was very thorough in cleaning the unit, checking different electrical feeds, checking the gas pressure, insuring the fan was operating properly, and after the unit was ignited, he tested the unit for CO emission. I was very pleased with the service, and particularly with Philip. He was very professional and personable, and he answered questions I had.

After a long weekend away we returned home to find our house very cold! 43 degrees cold! We called ANC because they had installed our furnace in 2004. We left a message and our call was returned promptly and we were given a time when the service man could come over. Keith was professional and knowledgeable, very pleasant. We purchased a pellet stove as well as a woodburning fireplace insert. We had great customer service, everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and very low pressure. There were no tacky textbook sales techniques. The showroom is top of the line! They have a huge selection of stoves, fireplaces, fire features. This will be my first stop for any of my future home heating needs.

Service Tech Philip serviced my LG ductless Inverter indoor unit. He did an outstanding job from his first visit to diagnose the issue to the installation of the needed parts. He was polite, efficient and knew what needed to be done. Great experience!

To me ANC Heating is a local company, so after receiving a few good reviews of my own they were an easy choice for a new furnace (in 2005). In nine years - and nine upstate New York winters - Ive so far only had to replace one part. Other than that, my interaction with ANC employees occurs during my yearly maintenance appointments. The service technicians are always friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful to the inside my home (and dogs). On the most recent maintenance visit, the technician showed me the read-outs my furnace was producing regarding efficiency (upper 90%), and carbon monoxide output (which was 0 %). Local companies dont survive these days unless their prices are reasonable and competitive. ANC also offers a No Worries program where for a yearly subscription a large percentage discount is given on repairs, and yearly maintenance is no cost. Ive recommended ANC to many folks in the past, and will continue to do so.
