I had a great experience! The woman that hired me was on top of all the paperwork I needed to get done so I could start ASAP. She told me about the job and what to expect on my first day. And answered all of my questions without hesitation.

Been calling for over a week you get voicemails only and no calls back. I repeatedly told the receptionist i dont get responded to so her solution is putting me back into somebody elses voicemail. Garbage company, i dont know how you can put ads out and not respond to people inquiring about those positions.

A group of htss employees didnt get paid for a month straight htss payroll manager kept telling all of us to pay $30 so the can cancel or checks in the mail and then we would of had to go to the office to pick a written check up. I spoke up about how is was unfair to us because some have been waiting 3 weeks just to get a weeks pay. She told me I no longer work for them. Shady managers lazy recruits and your just numbers.

I just need part time work during the week, I am happy with my current full time job that I work during weekends. I have been working as a brewery line worker off and on the past couple of years. It is exactly what I need, and they are understanding of the fact that I have a main full time job that must come first. There is almost always extra hours available.I will never run out of uses for the chance to make extra money here, and the brewery line worker gig has really done a lot to financially help my life over the past couple years. Ive been with htts for about 20 years now! Great temp service to work for, they have always been helpful finding me work. Some places were not what i was looking for, but i would call them and let them know and they would help me find another assignment. The staff and recruiters are professional in every sense! They truly care about their temps..

I have applied to MANY different positions and have called and left voicemails to SEVERAL different recruiters over the last few weeks. Not a single person has tried to call or get in touch back. Beyond unprofessional.

I have worked a few times through HTSS on temporary assignments while laid off from my full-time employer. The staff there has always been courteous and professional. They have always been able to help when I needed work. I would recommend them to anybody seeking employment. They are great people to work with!

If I could give HTSS no stars I would. They are the most unorganized staffing agency ever. I started last year as a temp working at the only major employment opportunity that they have to offer, which is at Samuel Adams the brewery. 6 months in they offered me a position at their agency as a recruiter where they gave me little to no training for and expected me to pick up where their last recruiters left off at. Not to mention the other recruiters quit due to all the stress and were fed up on how rude they treat people who work for them.The management is poor. The owners daughter just sits in her office all day and does nothing but send emails, doesn’t help out with anything when we are short staffed. My team of 3, including myself was in charge of doing EVERYTHING for an account that owns 80 percent of their business. I would have to do attendance for an entire company start calling people in who have applied through indeed or on their site, interview them, conduct drug screenings handle phone calls process these people and schedule people in at the same time BY MYSELF ALONE. I was told I had to have 30+ people a day.They have such high demands on the employees they choose to hire. They didn’t want me hiring anyone who previously had any injuries, you could be in your 30’s and broke your leg in high school and won’t hire you. They even gotten so low to the point if they hired you and heard you injured yourself they will fire you for any little thing and use that as a reason.

The level of rudeness and unprofessionalism is through the roof here. I have tried to contact this company several times and was hung up on, left in hold and forgotten, and just recently, Grace showed that she might have been the one to have trained everyone in the way of ignorance. She talked over me most of the conversation, then basically yelled at me about the 217 NOT going to Sam Adams. (It goes to Sycamore and Penn) I know because Ive had this assignment. I left it because i had a preexisting leg injury that wasnt healed yet. I asked for something closer to where i lived per doctors orders after I was cleared to go back to work.

I started working for HTSS in early 2018. I had. just lost my full time job and was desperately in need of a placement right away. I called the office and was asked to go in and fill in an application. I was treated with so much respect and courtesy from the moment I walked to the front office door to the last minute of my stay at the office. More importantly, I was offered the kind of job that not only matched my experience but also the very one that i needed. Generally, the office is neat and designed to make you feel at home. The receptionists at HTSS are very warm, kind and welcoming, the recruiters are very understanding and professional, the payroll department is very thorough with thier work and have no time for errors in thier financial administration. HTSS partners with great companies and most of thier assignments are temporary to hire. The recruiters will always find you the right job as long as you are seriously searching for a place to work. Most of the people that I started working with at HTSS are now full time employees and tell me that if it werent for HTSS they probably would never have landed a job with the companies they work for. I am now a full time employee in one of the best companies around but if for some reason I ever lost my job or just needed a part time placement our a side job, HTSS would be my first stop!

It has been an honor working with the agency, communication is definitely one of its greatest attributes along with finding ways to work with my schedule while im in school.

So far HTSS has been great to me. I am a disable veteran and I need it a part time job with only 24 hours a week and I got it. They are really understanding. I went there without an appointment and they took care of me the same day. I started working 3rd shift the next day.

This place is nothing but a unorganized, shallow, and unforgiving place. I would not recommend working here what so ever. I have worked for them at Sam Adams for 6 months. When I say very unorganized, I mean it. They put unqualified people in charge of others that know 10x more as the person who was and still is in charge. The amount of unfairness that this company puts any employee through is alarming. They don’t treat you like humans here, more so robots.

The receptionist was nice but getting in contact with the lady who helped me get the temp job at Amcor is damn near impossible. I’ve left a voicemail and sent two emails... no response. No ID was given to me so my hours haven’t been recorded. Overall very unprofessional and sloppy. SAD.

Lori helped me through my process of placing me in a job. I heard back within a week from the first time we talked and she told me she had work for me. They worked with my two week notice that I had to give my current job at the time, and I started right away after that. Ive only been at the job they placed me for a little over a week but I love it. Have only worked with Htss at the brewery for 2 weeks but I do like it so far. Htss gets you working within days, are extremely friendly and warm when you walk in, and my coworkers are great. The pay is good for the job too.

At first they were quick to find me work, but after not notifying the place of assignment of my pre-planned vacation, i was fired...they quickly found me another which lasted 5 months before being let go again. Now I cant get an email back or a phone call about anything new (when in the local paper THEY are hiring for several nearby locations). Ive filled for unemployment to cover the lost weeks and they quickly fought it, leaving me waiting for answers and no income.

Getting hired was fast and easy. On the job, Im taken care of. Always making sure PPE is in good order and extra breaks with all the recent heat.

I had an interview schedule for Friday when I arrived at htss in company I checked in and I waited about 15 minutes to find out by the secretary that my ZipRecruiter went home early even if you are sick oh I had a family emergency ZipRecruiter or your secretary should have notify your clients the ones who still had an appointment with you I got no notification on no call to cancel the interview reschedule the interview ☹️

Sadly my experience at HTSS was one of the worse experiences I have ever had in my professional working career. I was a walk-in to this agency and originally they were very helpful. They helped me fill out the application and after 30 minutes they offered me work at Sam Adams and told me that they would call me at a later date to start. Unfortunately, that date never came. I called them several times to inquire and all I got were voice-mail recordings. I sent them a few emails hoping that this would get me a response and unfortunately they still didnt call me back and give me an update. I am not upset that I didnt get the job because that happens but I am upset that because I thought I had work with HTSS I declined other interviews in the process. I was very disappointed and I would encourage everyone to try other agencies first.Kristy, I will call you with my full government name so you can find me in your system then.

Back in 2000, I worked at Genco for HTSS. They were great. Luckily, Genco hired me permanently. Fast forward 2008/2009, I applied for work. I received a call from a Karen. She was very nice on phone and we went over job history. She scheduled in person testing / interview. She was extremely rude in person. She went over my work history again and quickly criticized why I left (went over it on call.) I didnt give two weeks notice at one job. I was a former stellar temp, I thought Id be treated with a little more respect and be given a fair chance. My work history was steady. Receptionist was embarassed by her actions/attitude towards me. The first time I was hired, Pat Howells interviewed me. She asked tough questions but gave me a chance. I was 19 at the time and steady work history.

A friends mother referred me to them, informed me of their great jobs that were high paying and friendly.Upon applying their, the office manager was extremely rude and told me that I did not have the skill set I claimed to have on my resume (this was verifiable by simply contacting my previous employers) and then telling me she couldnt place me because of that.2 weeks after that I received a phone call about a position that I was most certainly interested in. Close to home, pay was good, overtime. Calling back I was told the position would not be offered to me but a different one was available 45 minutes away for the same pay. Naturally I took the position as a job is a job and I needed one.After 3 injuries at the temp job in question, being lied to about the hours that I could and would be able to work, my pay being taken (they actually charge you for your own drug test. Highly unheard of in the temp position world), I finally had had enough. I informed the recruiter of my deciding to leave and pursue a better employment opportunity elsewhere. It was then that I noticed they hadnt paid me for the time worked, only half of what was due. I attempted contacting them and was told the pay would be in my account the following pay period, 1 week from the day. Never asked the hours I worked (that was the reason why they hadnt paid me) so naturally the following week I was not paid. Again.The world is mid range pay, bordering poverty. The job is NOT what they say it is, and they are very rude to speak with. Actually threatened to fire me after I was called in by the US Army for paperwork concerning a predeployment screening. It was then determined that my hours would be cut, almost as a reprimand for having to do the duty I enlisted for.I would stay far, far away from this company if at all possible.

Everyone at HTSS has been polite and professional. I have emailed in for employment verification papers and the staff is always helpful.

If I could rate a 0 I would this place is so unprofessional and lack the well being of their co workers my husband had missed two days due to almost choking and dying he popped all his blood vessels in his upper face and eyes his eyes were almost swollen shut and even tho that had happen he went to work anyways trying to still proceed with the week Adams sent him home because he was in no state clearly to worked and told him he could not work without being cleared for work he said no problem sat in the er for 8 hours and got his doctors notes doctors told him he had to miss a day of work so my husband the very next day gave htss the doctor note and THEY STILL FIRED HIM A WEEK LATER because he had to medically excused two days off! Told him that it was ok but then a week later said it counted and he missed and his assignment was over my husband left dozens of voicemails fighting for his job since he was a machine operator for Sam adams and actually loved his job but they had no cares in the world weather he almost died or not weather he had did exactly what he was told and got a medical excuse they still wrongfully terminated him then didn’t even care to call him back to explain what days he supposedly miss also tried to say he left early two days WHEN HE DIDNT because I picked him up faithfully at work and also the people at the office at Adams checked his punch’s and even said he did not they fire u for no reason treat u like they can careless if your dying then fire u with no cares I WOULD NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

I had a negative experience. they said they couldnt pay me for a day i worked because their time clock was messed up and they couldnt confirm my hours. I worked for nothing.

Absolute horrible experience. I worked there nearly a month ago and still cant get my check. They claim they mailed it out and say that it got lost in the mail. And if I want it I have to pay 35 dollars so they can do a stop payment. But they have no evidence that they did in fact mail it out. I did not tell them to mail the check. They did that on their own. When I contacted the manager of the office she actually at one point laughed when I asked if she would be upset if she didnt receive her check. Her response was she would never be in my position because she would not have let her check get mailed out. Since they refuse to fix the situation I am currently attempting to contact the labor board, better business bureau, and also a local news station because I have found out that this is a common occurrence and I am no where near the only one.

Got me a great job and theyre really friendly. I dont know why they get any bad reviews. They did lose my paper work but I just had to fill out another form

Absolutely horrible!!! Not worth the time to fill out the application.Husband was working there and they placed him at a great company with an awesome team atmosphere. He recently hurt his back at home and made sure to contact HTSS to fill them in on the situation....the temp coordinator assigned to my husband asked him to go and get a release from the doctor allowing him back to work. When he got all the paperwork together required it took three days to contact the temp coordinator to get information on getting him back to work. To the point where my husband was forced to contact the client company directly to inform them of the situation. Only to receive a call from the temp coordinator (who was upset because she was contacted by the client company and they proceeded to (in her words) chew her out) and she in turn took that issue personally and decided to let my husband go all because she got in trouble. She wouldnt answer his calls and it actively looked like she was dodging him entirely.So in the end. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from a company like this. IMKO is a good company as well as aerotek.

If I could give this place NO stars I would. I went to this company thinking that I could get an easy gig with decent pay. Well, the gig was easy. So easy that they called me off of work every day. My first 3 weeks I worked 2 days. They hire alot of people and then only schedule you for 1 day a week. Then they deduct your first paycheck to pay for a drug test and any equipment/PPE for you to work at your job. Every job I have every had gave this all to their employees for FREE! I took a job later on for more pay and guaranteed 40 hour workweek with overtime. Oh, and by the way. If you call them saying youre going to be late because of bad weather they purposely give your schedule to someone else that week to teach you a lesson. Horrible place, DO NOT WORK HERE! Stay far far away!

I also, would give this agency zero stars if I were able. As one reviewer stated, I was penalized during the blizzard of 2008 because I could not get my car out of my driveway (which was located at basement level to the street). They told me I should have shoveled it out the evening before, when shoveling wasnt even the issue. I ended up having my neighbor video tape my effort to get my car out as evidence. They ended up firing me because I received a subpeona to report to court. Since I didnt show up at the job site, they terminated me. I advised them that the employer was aware of the court date, and they were left a message informing them as well. Both the employer and HTSS declined any knowledge of this, and unfortunately the email that was sent was from the employer email which I now was not able to access. They fought my unemployment claim, and when appealed, the referee said he had no reason to believe me over them, even though I brought the court documents. These people are crooks and downright dirty. The recruiter that I dealt with is Karen, but she spelled it differently, maybe Karin or Caren, I cant remember. She is a nasty woman. Stay away from this place!

One of the worst places I have worked for. Total lack of organization, communication, and a complete disregard for their employees. No actual schedule is made, your told you work everyday only to be called off at 930 the night before. They have refused to return any of my dozen calls about my missing check. The lead woman Jennifer has the most deplorable people skills I have ever seen. Treating her temps like they are a bother and a pain. Do not get on board with this company at this time.

I have been waiting for my pay stub for a couple weeks now and everytime I call they say they mailed it but I dont think they did. They are also rude every time I call. Worse place I have ever worked. The afterhours lady denise or whatever her name is she is nasty every time I talk to her.

Put so much of my life and time into this agency. Nothing but a joke and waste of time that I will never get back. Ended worse than it started.

Worked there 2 days. I got the flu pretty bad which i never get sick hardly ever.. I had a doctors excuse and they still fired me. Going to get my check today. Even if they have one for me after charging crazy high prices for the ppe equipment. I have never been charged for ppe from a company i was working at. They last day i called off they said they would charge me for ppe if i didnt bring it in that day.. Umm, I was sick with the flu & wasnt coming in to bring the ppe. Plus the charge you for a drug screen as well. Awful company and the worst staffing agency i have ever dealt with.. Stay away from this place. Staff is very rude!!!!!.

The worst place you could ever work for!!! Told me I needed 2 week notice to take off for a funeral of a 3month old baby!!! Also only lets you work one day out of a week for a 50$ pay check!!! Absolutely horrible the company they staff for has nothing but terrible things to say about them and the fellow temp employees.
