Got an email from an employee on 07/28/21 stating that basically I was hired and needed to complete documents on the website. After completing documents and submitting important credentials for my background check and filling out tax forms, I still havent heard from them. Ive called the last time about a week and a half or two weeks ago. When I was left on hold for exactly 15 minutes and 12 seconds I never talked to anyone, and tried to called back but was getting sent to voicemail. I also left a voicemail which I still havent gotten a call back as of today.

I worked at LGC in Pittsburgh and it was very professional, so when i came to Illinois I went to the LGC in Elmhurst to introduce myself and sign on with them. When i walked in i said hello because there was no receptionist to great people, 2 people came out there offices and looked at me as if i was lost the women that talked to me was very unhelpful. It was a strange experience. LGC should find some better people to represent them at that location. What a shame.

I’ve been claiming shifts through shiftgig before it was on the LGC platform. Whenever I had a problem,the shiftgig rep was always helpful and responsive. When I contact LGC,I always have to send an email and it takes DAYS to get a response. When I’ve called,I NEVER get a call back and I leave voicemails. After the last app update,it showed me that I was right all along and majority of the shifts I worked are STILL PENDING APPROVAL for the pay I NEVER received. I’ve been waiting my most recent direct deposit and I’ve received nothing..no pay or response! It’s overly frustrating and quite deceiving when I’ve worked all those shifts and now I can finally see that I’ve been cheated out of my money. They need a better system for communication and a quicker response time. This is ridiculous!!!

My experience getting into lgc was decent. I had one time where no one answered the phone but other than that it was ok. They respond quickly to my emails and answer any questions I have.

This was one of the most unprofessional companies I may have ever worked with. I expressed interest online, received a call and scheduled an interview. On the call I mentioned that I work a 9-5 job and going to Elmhurst for the interview would be difficult. We compromised and I rearranged my work schedule to come in at 9 am today. The gentleman on the phone said he would be ready to go at 9 on the dot so he could get me out the door at 9:45.Then the interview... I emailed them saying I might be a few minutes late because.... 290 was a mess.... I ended up walking in the door at 9:00 on the dot and .... no person visible, just a small waiting room with mismatched office chairs and a sign saying Please sit down, someone will greet youOkay, I sat... I waited 10-15 minutes... I stood up and peaked around the corner, I loudly said Hello down the hallway... nothing.. sat down, waited more time. Eventually someone came in to work for the day and asked if I had been helped. She went and got someone else.The man I was supposed to meet with is not there. This woman asked why I was there... Well, I had a 9 am appointment... she asked a few other questions and ultimately just asked for my IDs and my email to send me a link to an online application that she wanted me to fill out on my phone. She would come get me when I was done. (Why wasnt this sent in advance!?!)I finished the first 3-4 tabs on this before I stood up and again tried to get someone attention down the hallway. Someone else came and asked if they could help, they couldnt and went to go get the original women (multiple times telling me not to leave the entry area like I was a child).I told her that I probably didnt have time to fill all of this information out and asked if we could do what they needed now and I would fill it out later as it was 9:40. She said fill out 3 specific tabs and then we could get started.I finished those.... waited a few minutes... asked for someone down the hallway again. Someone came out and asked me if they could help and what she needed from me (I dont know?). I was told she is on a phone call now and I would need to wait a few minutes then we could start the interview.I told them at this point that I would not be waiting and that it was a completely unprofessional experience and that they way this was handled was completely disappointing. She asked me to come back... which I declined and walked out.The whole situation and staff were a mess, unprofessional and no one seems to care about the time of someone that just spent a lot of time coming out to Elmhurst.Do not waste your time going to this place.

This company send you to jobs where the people treat you like your nobody and then they would be very disrespectful to you. And as you call LGC to let them know what is happening at the job they sent you to, they don’t answer the phone and when they do pick the up and you let them know what is happened, they don’t care and want you to try and stay!!!! NO Chicago land jobs they won’t give you!!! This staffing place is bad!!!! Just my opinion

Definitely would NOT recommend this company to find you a job. I worked with Chris D. and communication started out well then all of a sudden he stopped emailing me back while he supposedly had a few job leads he was working on. I called the company and they said he was on vacation for 2 weeks and they would have his boss call me back. Never received a call. I then called back on April 30th (the day I was told he would be back from vacation) and I’m then told that he doesn’t work there any longer and that someone else would call me back the same day. Never received that call either. I understand that people quit their jobs but as a company you should not drop the ball and ignore your clients. Pretty much a waste of my time.

This company gaurantees work but once onboard LGC rarely have any work in chicago and the surrounding areas. the clients treat you like you are a trash instead of a company who asked for help. you have to go outside of your city for work that do not even pay minimum wage, the company do not fight for thier workers and let employers talk to their (LGC) employees anyway they deem neccessary. and you will be happy to get 20 hours a week at $10 working for this company. Overall experience: extremely horrific, HONESTLY.
