Well the ladys at the front desk said we would love it and we do!! all the folks weve met are very nice and there improving the building all the time paint and carpet on the way this place is beautiful now new carpet and paint will look great, parking garage is nice storage is more than enough so far so good and the price is perfect!!!!

We have been very happy living in 255. Coming from out of state the staff was accommodating and other residents welcoming. We could bot have asked for a better experience over all. We have made life lo g friends so sure! We could not say better things about the staff!

Could not be happier with my choice to live at Elmhurst 255. Prime location with everything you could want and need within walking distance or a short drive. Giana and Rebbekah are absolutely fantastic...so easy to communicate with, friendly, and always readily available. Also, the maintenance staff has been incredibly helpful and responsive. Love this place!

We have lived here for over a year and a half now. LOVE the location, great access to EVERYTHING...train, restaurants, stores, pharmacy etc... The Management Staff and Maintenance Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and takes care of EVERYTHING. We have met an amazing group of friends here and LOVE the courtyard, pool and community room, workout and media room. We have extended our lease another year! THANKS 255!

I have lived here since July 2019 and have been very happy! The location is great for walking downtown to local shops, grocery stores, restaurants and more! The office staff is WONDERFUL. They are always so quick to reply to emails, they are friendly and actually maintain a relationship beyond signing your lease with you. During the current pandemic situation, the front office girls have gone above and beyond accommodating residents. While the gym amenity is closed, they not only let my roommate and I rent two hand weights but even cleaned them off and hand delivered to our door! All the community events plus little extra touches of customer service like birthday cards on our door are why we love 255 and the staff!

255 offers great amenities, the building is well kept, and the community is tight-knit. Couldn’t ask for more! 👍🏽

My six-year-old son and I were attacked by a dog outside our front door, in the hallway today. Management is doing nothing to keep us safe in our hallway or other common areas.

The leasing staff at 255 is as impressive as the building. These 2 girls take customer service to a new level for sure. They are involved in every aspect of this place and throw so many parties for the residents, I cant possibly attend them all. We downsized from owning a house for 20 years to living here and what a great decision it was, we really love it. Giana and Rebbekah are exceptional and I can promise you, everyone here knows it. Great building and even greater staff. Absolutely Fabulous!

Elmhurst255 is a secure and quiet, well maintained building. There are great amenities including a swimming pool, full gym, media room, kitchen equipped party room and a large conference room. It’s walking distance to the Metra, a major grocery store, restaurants, pharmacies, banks, cleaners.... everything you might need, even a shoe repair shop!The staff is very responsive and accommodating. They make you feel like family. That’s a real plus to me!

This place rocks! The staff is very welcoming and professional, from the management/leasing office to the building engineers and cleaning staff. Really great amenities and we love how close we are to all the Elmhurst restaurants and bars. Also very convenient being only a few blocks from the Metra station.

I am a new resident and now after living here for a little over a month I can confidently say that I am thrilled with my decision. The amenities and location are amazing and the staff is so nice. Cant wait for some warmer weather to enjoy the gorgeous pool.

I have lived at Elmhurst 255 for a little over a year and just signed my renewal. Thus far, it really has been a great experience. The apartment itself is very nice with modern appliances and a large walk-in closet (regular-sized washer/dryer!). Also, the apartments are very quiet. I am on the fourth floor and I rarely hear noise from any of my neighbors let alone in the evening when I am ready to go to sleep. The exercise room is very nice although its so nice I sometimes have a hard time getting a treadmill :) Indoor parking garage is a huge plus during Chicago winters and the location is right in the middle of downtown Elmhurst, which offers restaurants and entertainment. A 24 hour CVS next door is a huge plus too. The leasing staff has been very responsive and friendly and maintenance requests were handled in a very timely manner. I wish I could join in more of the community events but long work hours often prevent me from joining. Overall, great place to live and I highly recommend.

My husband and I love Elmhurst 255! The convenient location in downtown Elmhurst makes it easy to walk to restaurants, commute downtown by train, or travel around Chicagoland by car. The amenities are excellent, from the pool to the gym. The staff is very friendly and helpful! We highly recommend checking out Elmhurst 255!

We just extended our lease and could not be happier. Excellent location, friendly staff, and the best courtyard a tenant can ask for. Complimentary coffee machine ties in perfectly with the morning gym routine located centrally in the building. Only bad thing is the Chicago weather that limits our time at the pool to a handful of months out of the year!

I’m a young professional living in Elmhurst 255 and the experience has been great! The office staff are responsive and polite. It’s perfect for commuters as it’s off both the Metra and the highway. Neighbors are always very friendly and quiet. The appliances are all updated and the balconies are HUGE. Well worth the price for the quality and location.

I moved to Elmhust in February from Indianapolis, Indiana and after looking at many apartments in the area I am so happy that I chose 255 Elmhust as my new home. Staff is great and the inside parking is so nice.Walking distance to all the great places Elmhurst has to offer. The train station is just a couple of blocks away also.

This is a great place to live! Very friendly management that is always planning something fun for the residents. In the past few months alone they have set up a bocce ball tournament, summer cookout, sunday brunch and pumpking carving contest. The 3rd floor courtyard is a beautiful place to relax or hang out with friends by the pool, bocce ball court, or firepits.Highly recommend this place!

I have had a great experience living at Elmhurst 255 for almost a year now. The great staff members, numerous amenities, and convenient location next to the Metra and downtown Elmhurst have made my time here very enjoyable.

Elmhurst 255 has been our temporary home since Feb. 2017. We chose this complex due to its location to downtown Chicago, OHare Airport and a short work commute. The office staff and maintenance crew are knowledgable, friendly and helpful. 255 offers many amenities as shown on their web site along with arranging monthly gatherings for its residence. The assigned underground parking is a plus and having a dry cleaning service pick up and deliver is very convenient. There are storage units located on the 2nd floor parking garage that are assigned with your unit included in your rent but if needed you are able to obtain a larger one for an extra charge...also have a inside bike rack. The gym is well equipped but could use a portable water dispenser installed. The computers and printer located near the leasing office by the residental industrial coffee machine are a big bonus when in need.On the down side last year Elmhurst 255 offered a guest suit that was rentable by the tenants for their guests from out of town. This year the owner/managment decided they would profit more by renting out the unit...too bad as it was a very nice amenity to have. We feel this decision was unfair as it was being offered when we signed our lease as an amenity to the property. The pool is very nice but needs to be kept heated as promoted. The building is wired for AT&T which limits the residents seeking other cable opportunities, personally having to go from Xfinity to AT&T was not a preferable choice.It is on the pricy side but location is key, Elmhurst is a quaint, safe town. We are able to walk a few blocks to the train station, restaurants, parks, and movie theatre.

My wife and I moved into a 1-bedroom apartment in Elmhurst 255 this July and been loving it so far. Leaving a review in hopes that this will help others with their apartment search.Location, location, locationElmhurst 255 is located on north end of Elmhurst downtown on the corner of North/York. A 24-hr CVS Pharmacy is located steps away from the building. Restaurants like Panera, Curritos, Rainbow Cafe, Angelos, Rosalis Deli are also steps away. Also, you have the luxury of all the restaurants, bars, and shops in Elmhurst downtown being 2- 10 min walk.Both Jewel, Marianos, and Fruitful Yield grocery stores are also walking distance.Expressways (I-290, I-88, and I-294) are easily accessible making it super easy to get anywhere in the Chicagoland area: OHare Airport - 15 min, City - 30 min, Naperville - 25 min, Schaumburg - 20 min, etc. The Metra station is couple blocks from Elmhurst 255 and takes about 30 min to get to the City. If you like running outside/biking, then Prairie path is 0.7 miles away.In summary, Elmhurst 255 is probably the most ideal location in terms of a Chicago suburb.ApartmentElmhurst 255 has various layouts of apartments in 1-BR, 2-BR, and 3-BR configurations, allowing to get something that fits your needs. All apartments have modern luxuries including balcony, central HVAC system, granite countertop, stainless steel appliance, oversized cabinets, in apartment laundry, walk-in closet, trash/recycle chutes on each floor, etc. In my opinion, the apartments are very well designed with a good balance of open floor design with plenty of storage.AmenitiesFor us, all the included amenities in the apartment is what sold us on Elmhurst 255. It would take me too long to list all the amenities, but some of our favorites: 24-hr large fitness center, theatre room, community room (with pool table), dining room, heated pool/open terrace, heated garage (starting to appreciate it more with winter around the corner), storage lockers, bike storage, mail room, etc.ServiceElmhurst 255 has top-notch service. They usually return our emails/calls within 24 hrs. They have onside service people, so they take care of issues pretty quickly. They hire a cleaning crew to ensure all the areas are well kept. The team holds community events 2-4 times a month so you can get to know other people that live in the building.In summary, Elmhurst 255 is an excellent option for people looking for a rental with lots of amenities in Chicago suburb.Couple things that we do not like:- Pricing: Elmhurst 255 is probably the most expensive rental property in the area. It is hard to compare it with other properties as Elmhurst 255 is probably the only building with all the amenities.- Elevators: The building only has two sets of elevators. During busy times (morning, evenings) expect to wait long time for the elevators.
