I’m being totally honest sylvan is a really great place for tutoring there are really nice teachers (details: you earn tokens and earning tokens you can buy toys, candy, and more.) coming from a child I really like slyvan. they teach mostly accurate levels for a child. So I think if I would ever get a choice to change to a different tutor I will stay at sylvan!!!

From the moment we began the testing process, weve been treated with patience and respect. The team of teachers at Sylvan have been working so well with my son and it shows. He is making a lot of progress. They have been very patient with his mood swings and getting upset, and have taken the time to get to know him enough to help him through those moments. It is truly appreciated by this entire family that the team at Sylvan have treated our son with respect and patience. They have built his confidence in reading so much. I can see how much he has improved since beginning his tutoring with Sylvan!

. Contacted sylvan regarding tutoring, they advertise $100 off your first time (not accurate) I paid $785 for 16 sessions. My student has attended 4 sessions and they sent me a invoice for $980 with different pricing for less sessions that was explained to me. I was not explained my sessions would be cut in half totaling to come out to be 8 sessions when I was very specific about my financial situation of only paying for 16 sessions at a total of $785. I called the first time and put down $400 from the very beginning sat down with the manager who then said I needed to pay $785 after me confronting the same price difference she then went to her computer to see what was right. They convientetly dont have a return policy. I want my money back or my student to attend 12 more sessions coming twice a week for two hours. The lack of communication between paying customers is not there. We’ve been taking our daughter here for just over 5 months and we love the progress we have seen in her academically and also her confidence in herself! Third grade has been tough but sylvan makes it tolerable and fun for her learning more challenging things. I love this place and love the fact that they are all about accomplishing smaller skills at our daughters pace to build on the whole big picture.

I’m a student at learning center, they are very gentle and they make it fun. After classes they let you play games and it’s easy to make friends. In between classes you can take a break. Overall Sylvan Learning Center in Elkhart is very respectful, nice, and fun at first I didn’t want to come but after 1 day I was convinced that it is the best tutoring/ learning center . I defiantly recommend it if your falling behind in classes or just want more help.

My child was really struggling with literally everything. He has been attending this sylvan learning center and has improved in his work in the matter of a few weeks. The teachers here are amazing working with my very stubborn child. I would recommend this specific sylvan to anyone because the teachers here are wonderful and amazing.

I have been taking my daughter here to build confidence and help with her reading skills. I really liked that Sylvan has lot of flexibility with schedules and she gets quality tutoring catered to the areas she is struggling with. The staff is very friendly and supportive. If you are in need of tutoring I highly recommend this facility.

I realy like the place

I believed this is our 10th week now in Sylvan and my kids absolutely loved it!The very first two weeks was not much fun for them because they were still struggling with some of their homework. After talking to the awesome people in Sylvan, they added a homework help for the kids in their program. Now, our kids cant always wait to see their tutors and learn more. Sylvan created a program to where my kids can fill the gap to excel and we are seeing it already. My kids are thrilled when they learn something in Sylvan before they will have it in school.

Our daughter had been struggling in school with both math and reading comprehension. We had tried different tutors but hadn’t had any success. She was getting frustrated and didn’t like school anymore. The last straw was being put in a remediation class with a teacher that she clashed with. So after talking to a friend we finally looked into Sylvan. She started to grasp the concepts that the teacher couldn’t get through the way they were teaching her. She was able to bring her English up to grade level and test out of the class. She also worked on her math skills and would not be where she is without all the help from the wonderful teachers at Sylvan.

My son really like the staff and his teacher. The staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Staff is very friendly. My child has always struggled with school but this year has been the most difficult. It is a pricey program but my son LOVES coming here. He gets very excited for his appointments and it really did make a HUGE difference to his confidence AND his grades! I really do credit Sylvan with his progress. I would highly recommend this program for anyone with children struggling with academics.

Some of the most unprofessional money hungry companies I have come into contact with. Do not recommend them to anyone.
