Awesome place. I came to this place to have my catalytic converter welded back together as some tried to steal it. They had apologized for this happening to me welded back together free of charge.

Our car had a Crack in the resonator. It was loud, and noisy. Very embarrassing 😳, we brought it to Main Muffler and John replaced the resonator and flex. It was done in maybe 30 minutes. Very quick, professional help. We were recommended there by Zach at monteiths. The car is so quiet you can barely even here the car running.Thank you main muffler.👍Update: few months after this, exhaust us blowing out the front now, how did this happen main muffler?

Not the most professional.. but friendly. definitely not the most organized.. but nothing, it was just a mess everywhere.. took a couple days longer than expected, but they were busy.. which to me is a good sign. the truck got fixed and at what id figure is a fair price. Honestly.. Ill probably do more business with them just because there are some things Id just rather not get my hands dirty with and thus far theyve proved competent.

Only needed a gasket for my 2008 Malibu LT as it was rusted and my car was making such a horrible loud noise. Called this morning and provided a picture of what was needed. John Mitchell said to bring it in this morning and within 25 minutes my car was done and ready to go. I have never had such great service!! This used to be the place I would go to get my oil changed. Great service and good price.... However the other day I went and got an oil changed and the following morning I came out to my car and saw a puddle of oil under my car. They forgot to tighten the bolt..... I wont be going back there again!

Shout out to my guys at Main Muffler in Elkhart! After explaining I made an appointment at Monteith in Goshen a week in advance just to be told by the Monteith tire that I had to buy my own parts online and bring it back and they would install it because they ordered the wrong parts.. Maine muffler saved the day! I traveled from South Bend for an appointment made a week prior. I proceeded to take my business elsewhere. Although these guys were busy they fit me in and now I got exactly what I want. If you want great service these guys are fantastic! And the muffler they put on my 2013 Ram sounds AMAZING. When they told me to get my car fixed at that muffler shop I was surprised. But, he did the oil, drive shaft, struts and light cheaper and faster than anyone else. My wife said take my car next. Im tired of the mechanics lying to me So I did.

Went here for a long time because they are cheap. With my last experience I went there to get an oil change as I usually do, and my car started to leak oil, took the car back to get a diagnosis and it turns out that the bolt had been so tightened that it damaged the seal and oil was leaking from the oil bolt. This is how they treat you car, they handle it with no care and they will not take responsibility of their own mistakes. Also had the same experience with my brakes, they did not properly install them and despite having brand new brakes there is a bad squeak which should not be present.

Great experience. I was referred to them by Glens Tire for an exhaust leak (which is props to Glens). They got me in fast, showed me everything and explained what needed to happen and the cost. It was less than I was quoted elsewhere. Really happy with their service. (oh and the puppies in the lobby were fun to play with while I waited).

Took my Silverado to have 4 O2 sensors changed and specifically asked to have the old ones back. Got home and had one sensor that didnt even go to my truck. Wanted to test the old ones as they are only a few years old to see which one was faulty. Im guessing they stole my good one and gave me a junk one hoping I wouldnt notice. When I called I was told they must have mixed up the sensors as if they have huge piles of them and I could not get mine because it was thrown in the garbage already... 10 mis after I left....very dishonest. As for the work, it was shotty as well. Sensors were changed but they disregarded the cable clips to hold the wire to to the frame so I ended up having to do that myself. Thanks Main Muffler.... wont be back!

Quality work at competitive prices. These are individually franchised so they arent all the same. I come from Mishawaka even though I have 2 Main Mufflers closer because this one always has better pricing then the others.

I went here today after midas tried to scam me 125.00 for a diagnostic on my truck and 500+ for o2 sensors. Main muffler diagnosed my vehicles o2 sensor problem and had me fixed and out the door for about a hundred bucks resolved my trucks gas guzzling problem and earned a customer that will be back! I appreciate honesty and integrity and Main Muffler proved they take care of customers and honestly! GREAT JOB and THANK YOU!

BEWARE!! I took my car in for an exhaust leak and a repair was made. The owner was a complete, inconsiderate, jerk when confronting him about the repair not being effective. Instead of fixing the issue or compensating me, he proceeded to get defensive and recommend that I bring my car back so he can take his part back so he could refund my money. This could be the most unprofessional business Ive come across. I would not recommend this place to anyone if they are seeking an honest repair shop that stands behind their work.

I called Main Muffler and Brakes this morning to see if they could install my Borla ATAK exhaust on my Jeep SRT. They got me in right away and were very helpful over the phone. I dropped my Jeep off and in 30 minutes they called back with the job completed. I am very impressed on the speed of install, the quality as well as the second to non customer service. I highly recommend using John and Main Muffler & Brakes. THANK YOU guys for the amazing experience!!!

Fixed 2 different exhaust leaks that were in the worst spots on my car, fast service, and completely leak free now.

My Lincoln obviously needed some muffler work. I purchased tires and an alignment from a local tire chain. They quoted $500+ to replace the catalytic converter on back. In less than an hour Main Street muffler replaced the pipe from the manifold to the cc. Problem solved for $75.
