Great experience! Today was my first time going to Sport Clips and Im very happy with the results. The stylist was very professional and at no time did I feel unsafe as the store was following all the protocols put forth by our government. No problems at all, will definitely use Sport Clips services again.

Alison does a great job every time I come in, I dont even have to tell her how I want my hair done, she just knows. If you want a excellent experience every time you get your haircut, become a regular customer of Alisons. The atmosphere is fun and great conversations are had with the other customers and stylists. I also love using the American Crew products that she has recommended to me.

Ive had pretty good luck with this location in Elk River. I suggest the online check-in which will save you from waiting around. They do offer a full service shampoo and mini head massage after the cut but I usually skip it, although it is very refreshing. I am speculating that I have had better luck here because they focus on mens hair. They always have some sports show on that you can watch while getting your haircut which is why they call it Sports Clips.

Sport Clips does an amazing job. The stylists are always laughing and having a great time with clients and each other.

Place never answers the phone to make an appointment super frustrating

Nice stylists, but they’re not great at cutting hair. Amateurs, you ask them for a zero or bald fade and they have no idea. Go here only if you’re looking for the whitest of white haircuts. Why spend $20+ when you can go to a barber and get a professional haircut? I like that they replied to this review, but follow up with manager? When you call you can’t reach an actual person, only an automated here are our hours and address. I’ve tried calling before going in there to verify they have band fader and can’t. Kind of a joke.

Kristina and Jordan have cut my hair here and they are both All-Stars. Price could be better but Im used to a smaller town barber shop. Im not great with hair style terminologies, but I showed them a picture and told them what I wanted and didnt want and they nailed it.

Cut my hair way to short, Im talking 6-7 inches short. Couldnt even blend my hair either. Probably would have been better off going to Petco to get it cut.

This place would rather make you wait 45 minutes for a cut then fully staff the place... 8 chairs for convenience of people to come in and get a quick cut.. but only use 2.. really dont make sense.. and some stylist smell like cigarettes which is nauseating..

Jordan & Adi cut my hair and my twins hair, this place is fantastic with a very friendly staff!! We used to go to Great Clips in Elk River but the staff there more often than not was very rude...especially the black haired old lady... Sport Clips has now found new long term customers in Elk River. Love this place!!

Great place for mens haircuts. Would be a 5 star rating if the turnover in staff was less. Rarely am I able to get some person to cut my hair. Corporate does ALOT to support Veterans. I come here regularily.

This is a great place to stop in and get a haircut, they do a great job if you want to spend for the MVP. The hot towel and the massage are worth it and my son really enjoys being pampered.

First time at a sports clips and I had an excellent experience with friendly staff and Desire did a perfect cut, you have my repeat business!

Stylist was unfriendly, in that after asking what kind of cut I wanted, proceeded to do the biggest rush job I’ve ever had, and didn’t utter a single word during this hack job. By the time I realized my hair was uneven, it was too late to get a corrected or she would’ve had to shave more off. Save your $$ and go elsewhere.

Had an excellent experience. Likely the best haircut I ever received. Yes it is a little more than your bargain clip joint but worth it. Will be coming here for a long time.

Even though I am not a sports guy, I do appreciate the MVP with a neck massage and a man salon. Its somewhat old school flare, I encourage them to start doing shaves.Its a lost art.

Good Haircuts for men / boys

Nice stylists but bad haircuts. My last 3 haircuts have been very uneven and ive had to try and fix them myself. I do not recommend going here and I aint going back.

Called them on the phone asked how long the wait was, she stated no wait. I get there the door is shut and locked a hour before closing time after I clearly stated I was on my way. Wasted a 20 min drive to go to a closed store.

A warning to others. this place was at one time a great place to get your hair cut. That time has passed. unless you want only the most barebones basic haircut I would not go here. After my trip last week I will no longer go here because the stylists seem to have stopped caring about giving customers the cut they ask for. My stylist last week Desire or Desiree I cannot remember seemed to become slightly annoyed when I asked for a fade but said she could do it, she then proceeded to cut almost all the hair off the side of my head. I had communicated to her many times what I wanted and she never seemed to not understand, so I can only conclude that she just decided to cut my hair how she wanted. she was also so rough and quick with the buzzer she cut both my ears. I will no longer go here after this experience. the stylists dont seem to care anymore, go somewhere where they do.

Overpriced. App showed wait time that just kept going up after appointment was scheduled, almost an hour additional wait. Service was good.

Took my son here for a haircut. It is a little bit pricey for a quick cut but I had a coupon. There was no wait and the hairdresser was friendly.

Went to get my hair cut Sunday 9/22 at 4:11 the ladies decided to close up early. When I knocked on the door I was told the where closing early. No explanation was given. Will not be returning again. Guess Their personal lives are not urgent than their jobs or customers

Couldnt even get in to get my haircut tried booking an appointment online system would Not let me. So I called to check in Because there was a 30 minute wait and was told sorry Our system is working so there is nothing we can do youll have to just see what happens when you get here.

My son had a terrible experience and terrible haircut. Sort of cut around his ears, did not cut side burns at all, uneven and did not blend, choppy. Appalled by the cold, non caring attitude from the lady who cut his hair. Never again.
