Hired this company to perform an underground sewer pipe repair. They sent guys with shovels because, as the workers told me, the driver who was supposed to bring the dump truck and excavator didnt show up for work. Great job selecting your employees. Left broken glass, leftover broken pipe in the dirt piled up against the front of our house. Said theyd come take care of it, never showed up. Cut a 4ft section of the driveway out and then never showed up after saying theyd repair it. I will never use, nor recommend, this company for anything ever again. Extremely disappointed. I feel like I was misled in their description of the job they had planned, as if they knew before I did they were going to screw us over. Charged us 5k to wreck our front yard and driveway.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Elk Grove Sewer and Plumbing was able to find the root cause of a clog in our toilet lines in just one visit.We had another company here 5-7 times, each time had a new reason for the clog, either employees flushed paper towels, or pipes collapsed underground or double ply toilet papers causing the issue as so on. They said they dont charge anything extra for an estimate also they gave me a quote for ejector pump that was $300 less. Needless to say I went ahead with Elk grove Village Sewer and Plumbing and was extremely happy with their service and professionalism. I called J & S Plumbing in Elk Grove Village IL for two different leakage problems. Neither was diagnosed correctly and had to have more than one service call. My kitchen sink was incorrectly diagnosed and I was charged $450.00. I found the problem myself instead of having them come out a 3rd time and the leak was not connected to the faucet that they said was the problem. It was coming from a small crack in the counter top to the sink. I contacted J & S with my complaint. I received a call back and was told they would look into it and get back to me .. so far, no response I strongly recommend you do not use J & S plumbing it is obvious they are not professional, can not evaluate and diagnose the reason for your leakage..plumbing problem and then they do not stand behind the mistakes they make.

I was recommended to Elk Grove Village Sewer and plumbing by a village employee after a I had a bad experience with another plumber who was sent by the home warranty company.Joe came out that same day with camera and diagnosed the issue..which was unfortunately the main sewer line in my crawl space under the new concrete floor.It was a New Year’s Eve and late in the afternoon but Joe had his crew come and temporarily power blast the clog to move some of the crumbling cast iron so we didn’t end up having to get a hotel because of no running water in the house..this was a very nice of him.The crew showed up bright and early on Thursday to begin work..they were very polite and very respectful of my property.The job was completed in reasonable time and at a very good price considering the amount of work involved.I would highly recommend them to anyone needed plumbing servicesThank you Elk Grove Village Sewer and PlumbingSincerely

Initial septic pit replacement there was an issue but the owner came out the next day & no issues since. Very satisfied.

Joe came out to rotter our shower drain. He was prompt, courteous and the price was reasonable. While here, I asked him if he knew why we had an odor emitting from our wet bar. He immediately identified and fixed the issue. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We are so happy with the quick response to get our clogged sink up and running in our old house. Ryan was very willing to come out to Glenview. I have used Village Sewer twice and both times extremely impressed with the customer service of their office staff. I’ve called twice with emergencies and called multiple times with questions. They listen to you and answer your questions. They are also prompt at getting a plumber out. Both times the plumbers that have come out are so friendly and helpful. They really try to figure out the problem and the most economical way to repair the problem. Last year two companies wanted to charge me thousands of dollars and their solutions were wrong. Paul came out from Village and figured out what was wrong and it cost me around $1000. I highly recommend Village to everyone. This day in age it is hard to get good customer service. I wish I had used them in the past for other plumbing problems! I was so ripped off before by another local company.

Ryan came to my house to fix my kitchen sink and was in and out in less than an hour. He was so polite, didn’t make a mess, and was able to tell me what was wrong right away. I’ve had other plumbers come to my house who made a huge mess, left my house smelling awful, and were rude and this was such a pleasant surprise to have the total opposite. He cleaned everything and kept a very neat work area. I will be calling this company for all of my plumbing needs from now on!

We had a hard rain on Sunday night. Our plumbing downstairs started to back up in the utility room when trying to wash clothes. E.G.V. S&P was recommended to us. We left a message Sunday night after the Village came out and said their main line was clean. They called very early Monday morning, a lady named Katie. She took all our information, gave us pricing and said theyd be out the same day. We revd a call within a 2 hour window that they were on their way. My Mother is disabled and we could not use our bathrooms so this was crucial. Ryan & Jim came as a crew. They came in and surveyed the situation. Though we had a crawlspace where our clean out was inside the house, these two gentlemen transported heavy equipment from their van into our home and fit that into the crawlspace to begin cleaning the main line. They had a free camera inspection also. They saved the day. Ryan & Jim were so very polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. After they completed the work they informed us of options for the future about establishing a clean out outside of the home but also said they would gladly come back to do maintenance for the main line in the future inside. I would highly recommend these gentleman and the company for good, honest, reliable plumbing needs.

Actually, where can I give 100 stars? Last Sat our sewer lines backed up. I contacted our Home Warranty company (which I have since used my CHOICE to cancel). They sent 1 guy who didnt want to take this machine down the stairs...isnt that where most clean outs are....Sent a second vendor who hit us for $75.00 deductible, another $250 for camera inspection (not covered) and wanted another $850 to hydrojet (which Ive since learned CANT BE DONE FROM THE INSIDE) and another $5-10,000 to replace the line if needed (all not covered).Thankfully, my 6th sense said no. Found Elk Grove Sewer & Plumbing thru Google....Joe, the owner, here within an hour, no charge. Told me they would not waste our money with jetting, came back today as promised, clean, neat, very respectful, kind...cant say enough good things about this company! And the cost is BEYOND reasonable. I feel like Angels are in our basement and yard today. Joe, Colleen & your staff...thank you so much!

I had a HUGE task of eliminating my septic and sewer from my house and hooking into the town’s water and sewer. I called every plumbing contractor from ABC (which was another story in itself!) to XYZ. Joe the owner came out and took the time to walk the job and review every detail of the project. Joe contacted the city to get a full understanding of the elements he would be dealing with to complete an accurate bid for my project. BTW this is a task some of the other companies that came out to give a bid said they would not do and that I was to deal with the city.Joe’s bid was by far the most detailed in terms of defining the full scope of work. Joe’s price was very fair. The job went as planned and on budget. Joe not only quotes the job but he is actually onsite making sure the work is held to his exacting standards.I looked at all the plumbing contractors in the area. Joe and his crew are the best by far. Don’t waste your time on the others, most of the other contractors I never received a quote or they couldn’t show up for their appointment. When I did get a quote from the others there was no details of the scope of work.In summary, I had a great experience and would highly recommend Elk Grove Plumbing and Sewer.

Joe was great showed up on time and took care two different leaks, one was caused by the garbage disposal. I had a 9 year warranty on the disposal so he removed it for me so I could get it replace at the store I purchased it. He came back the same day to install the new, so we would be without a kitchen sink

Called last week Thursday to schedule this company to come and take a look at my showers as they would leak when we would use them. The earliest they could see me was Monday afternoon between 4 - 6, which I was fine with. Monday rolls around and by 6:15 pm there was no plumber nor was there even a courtesy call stating why the plumber was not there yet. Tried calling the office (even though on Google it states they are open 24 hours) it would send me to a strange outgoing message with no options to speak with someone. Found this companys Facebook page and sent a private message explaining the situation. They were apologetic and around 6:50 pm I get a call from the plumber, Ryan. He apologized and stated he was currently at a site, it was taking longer than expected and his phone was in his truck. I understand jobs may take longer than expected, but not even a courtesy call to explain this? I told him I had the claim adjuster coming the next day between 2 - 4 and wanted to give the adjuster an idea of what the problem was. Ryan stated he would be at my house at 2 pm and I didnt need to call the office he already told them. Next day I called the office a little before 2 to confirm what Ryan stated. They had no record of me on the schedule or of the situation that occurred the night before and asked if I would mind holding. After about 5 mins I was told Ryan was at a job in Elk Grove and would be at my house sometime after 3 pm. At 3:15 pm I received a call from the office stating he would be at my house within 20 - 30 mins, which at the latest would be 3:45 pm. By 4:15 pm still not there I called the office to let them know he wasnt there and to cancel the appointment since I had somewhere else to be. Denise from the office apologized, but in a non-sympathetic kind of way and did not even try to rectify the situation, maybe send another plumber right away or something else. Very frustrating situation, but in the end it worked out. I found a different company that came out the next day, told me what the issue was (leaking soap dish in the wall) and did not even charge me for the visit. Still in disbelief at how unprofessional this company was all around.
