In a world where it seems customer service has disappeared, Tina and her super sweet, go-above attitude come to save the day! When Frigidaire never called me back or returned by emails, I called D&S. Even though it wasnt Tinas job to try and get through and save Frigidaires business, she did it because, as she put it, the customer always comes first. Thank you for having wonderful staff and instilling values that seem to be disappearing in the digital age. And Frigidaire owes YOU my business. If it werent for you, I would never buy Frigidaire and probably be online giving horrible reviews. But, lets stick to the positive - you guys are amazing. Thank you. Thank you Tina!

If I could give them 0 starts I would...My fridge was inspected by your company through the warranty I purchased over a MONTH ago! I have yet to receive a follow up call about fixing or replacing it! I have kids and to not have a working fridge for a month is ridiculous. Very poor customer service to not even call to follow up. Not to mention I have called multiple times and left multiple voice mails and still no call back.

We were very pleased with this company and particularly our Technician Josh. Everyone is scared when their refrigerator needs repair but all the staff members of this company were courteous and professional. The phone representatives Nicole and Tina were very polite and reassuring. Josh came on time and explained to us in detail the issue of the clogged drain and did not unnecessarily replace an expensive part. We are grateful, that Nicole, Tina, Josh and the whole D & S company treated us so fairly. We will keep their number for future reference.

I thought the company was actually very good and they helped fix our dishwasher. However the part that they fixed and replaced broke two weeks later. I called to have it fixed or replaced again. The owner was incredibly rude to me. I simply was worried that since the part only lasted two weeks that it was either a faulty part or it was not put in correctly. He went on to yell at me ask me what’s wrong with me they aren’t going to replace it again. I couldn’t believe the owner of the company would treat me so rudely and he had no interest trying to make his customer feel satisfied. I would not recommend them to anyone. I don’t normally leave reviews but I think the community deserves to know what a horrible experience I had.

One Star is too many! Had a service appointment for my Maytag Washer. The Washer was not draining and giving me several error codes. The tech told me to clean the washer with Affresh. That was his only answer. After calling Maytag they scheduled another service appointment for them to come back out. On the scheduled day I call to get an approximate time they would be out. I was told they would call me back when they checked in with the tech. After an hour I called back and got the same answer and again after another hour. Finally at 2pm I received a call from STEVE stating that they had canceled the service call. When I asked why it took so long for a call back Steves reply was I was busy then I had to EAT LUNCH!!!!! That is a first.

Do not waste your time with this company. The manager or owner is rude and could care less about his customers. I had an appointment scheduled. They said they would call with a 2 hour window on day of service. That day came and no call. I had to call in to find out I wasnt put on the schedule and I should reschedule for tomorrow. I took off of work to get my repair done and would have to take another day tomorrow. I asked for compensation on the work and all they offered was $10 off of future work. What a slap in the face. Not sure how this company can stay in business with an owner/manager that runs his business this way. There are much better companies to work with and support. Please do not work with this company. You will be sorry. I wish zero was a rating option!!!!

Wow!! They call and let you know to confirm your appointment to see as you requested to repair what neededVery polite Very professional technician Mr.Cody came to our house we have a whirlpool refrigerator was not working no water from the filter, plus the ice maker either. He explained what was wrong and he fix it.I must say I was worry. He fix it very happy my refrigerator is back to life! Mr Cody very clean presentation and polite.This company dose care and they try to repair what needed. Let be honest if we got some old appliances that more then 20 years you cant expect them to last forever. Last week, I washed my clothes and when I attempted to dry them, 2 dryers stole my change. This week, I put my clothes in the washer, they left my clothes is 4 of standing water and I then spent $5 and the majority of my day attempting to dry them; only to end up with a basket full of soaking wet clothes. I can no longer afford to risk using their shotty equipment and have no choice but to take my clothes to the laundromat going forward

Our washer wouldnt drain. Had D&S come out on Tuesday. The technician was nice and knowledgeable. He said a pump needed to be replaced and ordered the part. Told me it would be 3-5 business days for the part to come in.Called them after 5 business days and told was told the part would come in the next day or day after that. Called after two more days. Part still not in. Spending two weeks just waiting for them to get a part that they said would be in within 3-5 business days. Very disappointing customer service.Tech came out after 9 business days. He was great.

Update to owner: Dear Owner, IF the technician was hospitalized as you say, then Im certain you were aware of it the day of the scheduled repair some time after the morning call to set a time, and you could have had the decency to make a phone call considering that the appointment was scheduled between 4-6 PM. I dont expect an ill employee keep a scheduled appointment for a repair but what is expected is common courtesy and professionalism by letting the customers know of a change in schedule. Im not sure what you even mean by the statement that you must abide by the contract company... Im certain they did not advise you not to call the customer to let them know your technician wasnt showing up. Youre right, the part was eventually replaced and the refrigerator is working, and the technician who did the repair was nice and knowledgeable but the issue is not the technician, its your overall service to the customer and lack of communication.This company has the worst service, I have had to use them twice for our Samsung refrigerator because they service customers with Asurion warranties for appliances purchased through Home Depot. I would never buy another appliance through Home Depot as long as they continue to use this company. The first time I had to use them I gave them the benefit of the doubt that not showing up was a fluke but its not a fluke! The technician that came out the first time even put a dent on our refrigerator which I contacted them about and emailed them with pictures but of course they ignored it. Not once did they reply after asking for an email with the pictures!!! I had the same issue again last week on Thursday when the technician didnt show up or call. When I called in Friday morning I was told that it was going to have to wait until the following Monday because the technician who had the part wasnt at work on Friday!!!! I cant say for sure if its the same technician who showed up on Monday, which he indicated he wasnt the same one scheduled Thursday, but was at least he was friendly. I dont know how this company is still in business but if you arent tied to a warranty then run!!!

HORRENDOUS SERVICE! I scheduled an appointment for the morning over a week in advance. The day of the appointment, at 3pm, I find out they are NOT coming! I tried calling all day, only to be ignored. I received one phone call at 8:36am from someone I could not hear but they did say theyd have their supervisor call me, who never did! I called the office at 11:30am to follow up, they said theyd look into it and have a supervisor call me, NO ONE DID! I took the day off work unpaid for this and I can not believe a company this day in age would have such customer service. It was not until 3pm that I was finally able to reach someone only for them to tell me they arent coming. I suppose I should have read their reviews before trying to work with them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Very Happy with the service that I received from D&S, my home warranty company recommended them and what a great recommendation that it was. They went above and beyond to meet my needs and to make me happy. I will for sure save their number for all future emergencies.

Can I give less than 1 star? My dishwasher has been broken for over 2 months and D&S has been extremely unhelpful in the repair process. We have had technicians from D&S come take a look SIX times, and each time they say that it needs another replacement part. One of these times, they ordered the wrong part and put us back another week. Our dishwasher is still fully under warranty, but they are dragging their feet and being as difficult as possible in the repair/ replacement process.Oh, and another thing. Their line is busy ALL. THE. TIME. because theyre too broke to pay for call waiting. its literally 1987.

My Maytag dryer was delivered damaged. D&S was asked to come out and repair it. A very professional man Steve came out and inspected it. He determined what parts were needed, gave me an expected delivery time and when the parts came in about a week later promptly showed up and repaired the dryer with new Maytag parts. I really appreciate how on time he was and how quickly he performed the repair. I would highly recommend.

Choose another place if you value service, time, and getting it right the first time. This place is completely incompetent and the review about rude manager is spot on. Whirlpool sent them to repair the top rack in my dishwasher and even sent them a list of parts needed. After The first visit they had to order the parts even though they already knew, and the second time they ordered the wrong part. Left two voice mails for them about scheduling the next appointment and never heard back- when I expressed my disappointment Steve became unreasonable. I’ve had the worst service from them and Steve is completely rude. I don’t know how they can even stay in business. They have earned their 2 star rating!

I called the company as my Samsung refrigerator was having problems. The repair man was knowledgeable, collected my $95 fee and said he would order the part. The part took over 4 weeks to come in, when it did my refrigerator started working again on its own so when the lady called me to schedule the installation of the new part I told her it was working again, she said no problem and if it happens again just to call since they know the part number. Sure enough it happened again, but when I called they wanted to charge me the $95 fee again, plus the part, plus the labor of $90 to install. The manager or owner was rude and could care less about there customers. I told him I was disputing the credit card charge since I was given incorrect info and they could not compete the job as we spoke about, he told good luck. Find another company, they dont care about what happens to you or appliance once they collect their fee.

We had the absolute worst experience with D&S. The tech came out to fix our washing machine and couldnt fix it so he had to order another part (same part, actually - something was wrong with the part they ordered). I was told our new part was coming in Wednesday. Then I was told at the latest it was coming in on Thursday and I would be put on the schedule for Friday. I called to confirm Friday morning as I had not heard from anyone in a couple days and was told that the part will now probably come in on Monday. I canceled my service with D&S. The customer service was by far some of the worst I have ever received and dont want anyone else to have the headache we had.

Great customer service and repair!We have been customers of D&S for about 8 years now. I really do not understand the bad reviews. Our first experience with them was after a different service company that contracts through Lowe’s was unable to fix our Samsung washer. Nicole was very helpful answering questions and scheduling an appointment. Steve was prompt and informative. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and order parts for the repair. Since our initial service call with D&S, we’ve had another 3-4 service events including 2 sets of washer & dryers, once for our microwave and twice for our dishwasher and I have always been pleased. We have never experienced a problem where an issue was unresolved and Nicole worked with us and the warranty company regarding replacement when a part was back ordered for an excessive length of time. Another time Steve wable to address a concern over the phone which saved me from a service call!We are in South Elgin and there are service providers closer who contract with Lowe’s, but we always request D&S. I recently had another service technician for my fridge because D&S wasn’t an option through HD and the tech was late, didn’t call to inform me and was borderline rude when he arrived.... made me appreciate Steve & Nicole even more!We have even used D&S for repairs since our Lowe’s warranty expired and the price was very reasonable and FAST! I was able to line dry clothes for a short time, but it certainly wasn’t convenient :) so a quick repair was very important!

Very poor service. They never pick their call in the first place. Our fridge had to be repaired. First person repaired it wrongly and within 2 weeks it went back to the same problem. The second person came to inspect and promised that the spare parts are available and they can repair within a few days. For almost a month, we waited for the spare parts and they never gave us any updates. Finally, when they came to fix the spare part, they shared that they cannot do that without defrosting the fridge. Had they called us the previous day and asked us to defrost, we would have dine it and wouldnt have had to waste our time and day. The person promised to come the next morning and repair it. No surprise that he never turned up!!!! So, here we are, a family with 2 little kids, living without a fridge for more than a month with the repair person not turning up and D &S service never picking up the call. Really frustrating to the core. WATCH OUT before calling them for service!!

I am very disappointed. I googled D&S appliances and I was worried because they have very bad rewievs. I was told by whirlpool that somebody will call me and confirm the service. Nobody called. When I called, the lady was very unprofessional, she was interrupting me all the time. I just wanted to find out approximately what time somebody will be at my house. No cooperation from D&S. They dont want to tell you any details. You should just stay home all day and wait for them. You cant ask to be first or last customer. I couldnt find out if they will be in a morning or afternoon. They wanted to tell me I dont understand how this works and basically I want to know too much. I dont even want them to come to my house anymore. No idea how they do business in 2018 where customer service should be on first place.

My warranty company sent them out to fix my dishwasher in October. The tech came out and stated that he need to order parts,and they should be in within seven days. Its now January 5 and my dishwasher still is not working no one will return my calls. what a horrible way to do business. I would stay away from this company, and find someone else to do business with.I would give them no stars but I cant publish my review then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could give them more stars I would...Mine was a warranty claim that was originally referred to a different appliance repair service...I suffered 6 long weeks with them giving me the run around every which way from Sunday...I finally gave up on them and requested a different company referral from the warranty company...D&S came to the rescue and within a couple weeks the job was done...They communicated everything clearly and stayed in contact until the job was done...The serviceman came out (Issac?)and was totally polite and professional and got the job done then cleaned up after himself...These guys know how to run a business,hats off to them....

I brought a dehumidifier in they had for over a month. Told me that they checked and tested the sensor they replaced and assured me that it was working, only to have it come home and not work. Same problem as before. I doubt they actually made a repair.
