Greetings to everyone. I would like to shout out management Mr. Omar Sullivan and his Assistant David for a wonderful experience. I recommend this Uhaul to everyone if u want quality service. I am grateful for their help and making my moving experience a smooth ride.

The guy at the counter was great and quick. The guy who showed me to my rental also was great explained everything in details.

It’s been over six months and not once have I had an issue with anyone. Everyone is so pleasant and patient, and always willing to kindly help. The place is always very clean and smells good. (Unlike most rat infested storages in Elizabeth that charge more and lie.) It’s deeply appreciated when you’re going thru a tough time like moving. Very Big Thank You to Everyone who works there!

A little slow to provide service but otherwise fine

Rent a cargo Truck . Drove for about 24 miles. Turned in after 2 hours the same day and got charged about two Hundred And Five dollars. Manager in charge did not solve the problem. Be Careful. It looks like they are stealing money from customers and blame the overpriced billing on their customers .....Very bad serviceRegardsJosé

Well, they dont offer help when it comes to heavy stuff & it not having 24/7 access to storage is annoying, but it is what it is. Its still good.

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. They recently allowed someone to rent space who stole my credit card number. They took the person’s word for it and never questioned the persons different name vs. the name on the card or asked for ID. When I called, it seemed like they knew exactly what happened.

Fast and friendly customer service. It was really easy to rent the truck and return. They recommend a great mover who helped us moved into our new home at a great price. I would return, mostly because of the excellent customer service. The truck was clean and everything worked, low prices too!

Terrible customer service.....Reserved my equipment a week in advance and when I get to the place I reserved my equipment the guy tells me someone else has it. However, the equipment is right outside. Still dont understand how someone could have had it before me or at my time when I reserved 7 days prior. Then I find out they switched my reservation to Edison nj when I got it for Newark NJ. Had to switch my reservation back to Newark while service guy thinks hes being smart by being sarcastic the whole time. Get the equipment and find out non of the lights on the trailer works. No one inspected the equipment before it was ready to be rented and no one was willing to inspect it after they were told it was defective because it had no working lights. I asked to switch to the next trailer over and they denied my request. Dont know why and wasnt given a reason so I asked for a refund and I left.If I ever have to rent I will not deal with those guys that were there.Need better service at that facility.

Even though U-haul customer service promised me something different over the phone, upon arrival to the actual location, the staff was ready and willing to make things right and help us as best they could within their powers. Omar and his staff were amazing and went above and beyond to help us from pick up to drop off. I would highly recommend this location to any and all whom are in need of a rental.

First time that I was happy at a Uhaul location. Did the reservation online and when I got there for pick up it took me less than 10 minutes to finish paper work, hook up the trailer and leave, same thing when I dropped the trailer off, super easy and super fast. Customer service was awesome. Definitely a place ro recommended.

I went to U-Haul Storage in Elizabeth and reserved a unit last week. Friday night I drove 14 hours from Georgia with a filled 15 foot truck. I arrived Saturday evening at the U-Haul Storage and they advised me they rented out my storage to someone else! Then she had the audacity to try to sell me on unit that not only wouldnt even fit 1/3 of my stuff, but someone else already previously reserved that room as well.I called Corporate Customer Service/Complaints and filed a complaint, but I doubt they did anything. They didnt even offer any concessions for the terrible inconvenience they put me through. They overbook reservations there and dont have the available units, which winds up leaving customers screwed. There is no way that should ever happen!I refused to use their services after that and called Extra Space Storage in Newark on Elizabeth Avenue and had a VERY pleasant and professional experience. Pkus, the place seems WAY more clean.

I need to express my dissatisfaction with the Elizabeth NJ staff. I called about 4 times and spoke to 2 different reps. They werent information knowledgeable, I asked for other branch information and they sent me to the Newark NJ location instead of sending me to the closer Linden NJ location. Both reps contradicted themselves about the availability of equipment. I had to hang the call and do my own research which I found the Linden location where Erica was more than amazing help.The GM needs to retrain the Elizabeth NJ staff and maybe send Erica from the Linden NJ to retrain them.Worst customer service everVanessa Andrade

The worst experience in my life the manager Omar Sullivan it is the first one don’t want to work and cursed with the customer and refuse to rent the storage unit like it I don’t like you, I can’t rent nothing to you and I can’t recibe your truck go to another U haul store not my store. He send me to make the complaint about him that individual don’t need to work there .

Its ok but I brought alot of boxes and I had to carry them on a Walker they dont even tie the boxes down

UHaul, including this location, massively failed to live up to their agreement with me this fall and have subsequently failed to provide any restitution for damages and an utter lack of customer service. Go to Ryder or some other trick rental service; UHaul does not care about you at all. Employee was absolutely no help.

This has been the worst experience I ever had. The manager is very disrespectful and the place didnt have the truck ready for me, and delayed me 2 hrs. They charged me extra money, and lied about the whole transaction. Stay away, they are thieves.

I went yesterday to this Uhaul location. Terrible customer service!!! The guy was mean and wasnt even sure of the services they provided. I think the lady that was there was the manager but she was even worse. When showing me the storage, the space wasnt even clean. Also. he explained everything in a rush and wasnt helpful in any way. I know bad customer service but yesterday was one of the worst places ive been to. I dont recommend going there.

Customer service is very important. When you walk into a building at 5:00 and told we can not help you, that leaves a bad taste in your mouth. At any business if the doors are still open, then you should be helped. Now on the other hand if you have a mobile uhaul pick-up which I had and you can not help me then you explain that to the client in a professional manner. You do NOT talk down to anyone, you treat everyone with the up most respect. You do NOT say to someone No disrespect I dont care who told you to come here early but we are closed and I can not help you and continue to go back and forth with me. If he said Mrs Im sorry but the call you may have received was incorrect but you can still go on your mobile device and finish your reservation that would have been better and I would have been okay. He continued to talk down to me and my father which was unnecessary. I hope that this young man will learn that you can still tell a customer NO but in a nice way! Thats apart of customer service!In the end I cancelled my reservation due to BAD customer service and did a new one with u-haul toms service in irvington nj, he knows how customer service works!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! We rented a truck infested with cockroaches. They were everywhere in the back of the truck, absolutely disgusting!!!

Very courteous, fair pricing, very short period of time to rent; in and out in less than 15 minutes. Lot was well organized, easy to retrieve vehicle.

They are very clean and polite Omar is very nice and extremely helpful with any problem you may have.

This uhaul location is large relative to others around and if you are an early morning person, this would be the place to go and get your moving going right away as they are open as early as 7am.You are more likely to find the specific vehicle you need at this location due to their large facility/lot.

Get ready for the worst experience of your life, starting by the lack of respect to the customer coming from the manager itself, the staff is inexperienced and ready to dismiss you when you need to rent a truck, they brush you off by telling you theres nothing available when in fact theres plenty of cargo vans ready, theyre just lazy enough not to do their job and not tell customers you can easily make a reservation over the phone, the manager is the worst example for the employees, hes totally unhelpful with no manners whatsoever, what an awful way to run a business, I hope someone in upper management or corporate tells the manager in this location that the customer is always right.

I like renting it in this place because they are very friendly and attentive and above all very efficient.

The experience I had at U-HaulFor me it was not the best it took us a long time to do the paperwork, there were two people working on the other side and two clients just asked us for many more papers than from another person later I do not know what happened to the car that appeared that had walked many miles and It was not like that because the move was around 1 800 meters and we took three trips So they could see it was a 4 miles and 22 appeared it was a problem for them to give the full deposit back after we had already paid and that did not me I liked it, I dont recommend it to anyone
