Andrè and team were punctual, efficient, careful and fun. As someone who is a pet owner and accumulated multiple family valuable heirlooms, I was Super anxious hiring someone in to move my life. Andrè showed up with his crew, walked the space, explained the process and went over everything with me in detail! They packed everything with a level of care and ensured to pack the truck efficiently and when we arrived at the new space the they analyzed the space, entryways, hallways etc. The team quickly went to work on unpacking and sorting through everything to efficiently ensure it was put in the correct space! I have Already recommended them to 2 other people and will continue to do so in the future the team & the overall experience were FUN and not stressful! 10 out of 10 for sure in my book!

American Movers helped us with our move and did a great job. We called for a quote and they answered right away (other movers we called answered but took our details and said a Sales person will get back to us within a few hours). The 3 movers arrived on time, they were clean and polite and did not mind waiting a few minutes while we wrapped up. When we were ready the movers quickly uploaded all boxes and furniture to the truck (they delivered empty boxes to our location a week before the move and we packed everything ourselves). There was no traffic so they arrived at our new location very quickly. The movers placed the furniture and boxes in the correct place which made unpacking very easy for us. We did not have to move anything heavy ourselves and it was very quick to unpack the boxes and put everything where it belongs. A couple of days after the move our relocation manager called to follow up and make sure everything went well with our move. Its always nice to see that service providers truly care and take the time to check with customers and their experience with the move.

Best moving experience we have ever had! We moved our house from Long Island, NY to overseas and we were super stressed about this move. We ordered a 20 feet shipping container and didnt know whether everything would fit. They estimated over a video call the size of the container we needed but stated that its not a 100% accurate estimate. The owner contacted me the day before to update me on the arrival time. On the day of the move they texted me that they were on the road and when to expect them.The packing crew arrived first and started packing the house. We didnt have anything packed but we had organized our items in set rooms of the house. They neatly organized and labeled the items in boxes in our driveway and kept on updating throughout the packing that their estimate of a single 20 feet shipping container looked good. The guy in charge of the crew was so nice and professional to his crew and you could see the difference it made in their work motivation that day. I have a very expensive stringing machine and they built a special box with padding just for the machine.We couldnt believe how efficient they were in utilizing the shipping container volume. They filled up every little space up to the top of the container. At the end, we were able to take more furniture than we thought we could fit in the container (we took everything and had space to spare :). In this entire move, which was 3 months in planning, it was the most stress free day of the move. There were no surprises. The only surprise was that we were happy and relaxed throughout the moving day.I strongly recommend this American Movers to anyone moving, especially anyone who suffers from moving anxiety.

I so wanted to be amazed by this company based on the reviews but I wasnt. The representative of the company came to my home and walked around and wrote up an estimate of the cost based on how many cubic feet he thought we needed. He also convinced my husband and I that moving out a month earlier than we originally wanted to was absolutely doable and he and his people would help. He knew we had quotes from other companies, my husband told him what they were, and he came in at 1/2 the cost. He also gave us a price for 3 packers to come and help us with anything we hadnt yet packed. Day of packing came and only 2 packers were sent. We also had an issue where the estimator said he never included the basement in the estimate and never had seen it and both my husband and I remember him going down there. After 2 days of packing (might have been less if we had the appropriate amount of packers) they apparently filled 2x the cubic feet in the truck than was quoted. (shouldnt someone in the business of estimating moving costs have a better idea of how much room stuff will take?) and between the cost of the packers (which he discounted in the end) and the cubic feet the end price was more than double what was quoted. Unfortunately my husband didnt pay close enough attention to the boxes that were loaded because when we received our stuff (that part went fine by the way) there was stuff he knew was packed that didnt make it here. Since I checked the packing list of boxes to what was delivered, those boxes had to have never been put on the truck. Ive heard the moving industry is notorious for underquoting and when they have all your stuff telling you its going to be more and theres basically nothing you can do about it. I was very disappointed that this all happened because I wanted to be wowed. The actual move was fine, very little got damaged however the stuff that didnt get here cant be replaced and Im very sad about that.

I am a property manager of a senior citizens complex. I contracted with American Movers, I cant say enough good things about them. I had (2) moves scheduled in one day. They called me before arrival, to give me an eta. They were on time, courteous, and very patient. I will be using them for any other moves I have in the future. I spoke with Adam he was so helpful. The movers were Andre, Spenser and George. My residents were thrilled with their service.

I can’t speak highly enough of American Movers who I used for my apartment move in the city. They were so kind, courteous, and efficient throughout the entire process. All my furniture, boxes, and fragile items were handled with a great deal of care. They are the most professional moving company I’ve dealt with and the only one I will use in the future.

They are too pricey wanted to charge me a minimum of 750...and I didnt even have much for move.

I was moving on a very short notice. After explaining the situation, Arik came within a few hours for a quote, and we moved 2 days later. Everything that was promised was delivered, and on time. Very professional crew, respectful, mindful and at a fair price. We had a great (second) experience..

Honest, reliable, and very reasonably priced. No nickel and diming here. Eric gave me a set price for the hours he estimated I needed and at an affordable rate. Edwin was the team leader and he was on the ball with everything. Told me whats needed to get the job done quickly and he executed it to the T. These guys got everything done within that time. Best part is not a scratch on any of my walls or trim in either homes. Id recommend these guys to anyone whos looking for someone they can trust.

I am very unpleased with the services.I was quoted and upon arrival was charged DAM near 3 times the quote!!!!!! Not to mention IM still waiting for my furniture for 4 days now. Customer service reps havent helped with with ETA of my furniture. I remained on hold for 10 minutes. THIS COMPANY SUCKS!!!!!

These guys are top notch! I decided to go with them because they answered the phone EVERY TIME when I was calling around for rates. As for the move, they showed up right on time and were VERY helpful to me. I wasnt all the way packed when they arrived and they jumped right in and started helping me! The truck was loaded up in no time and then they got me to my new place with everything intact. The best part is, they are very personable and friendly, so it made the move much less stressful! Highly recommended!

The movers worked like crazy all day... they were professional and lovely human beings, very hardworking and did an excellent job under difficult circumstances - heat and small elevators etc . I would absolutely recommend them and will certainly hire them again.

I hired these guys to move my mom from Ocean Grove, NJ to PA. Her house was 1400 square feet with 3 bedrooms (only two of which had to be moved). No basement. It took them 4 hours to unload the house. Slow and expensive.
