Ive gone there before to get a patch in my tire a few times. Today I went in and asked if they could check my tire pressure he told me to pull up to the bay. After standing in the sun for 10 minutes I asked him if I could just use the pump to put air in to my tire. The guy said yes. I go to use the pump and a little boy around 9 or 10 comes out and basically takes the hose from my hand then struggles to connect the attachment I told him let me put it on and he walks to get help. He shows up with another guy who works there. That guy puts in air. I told him it needs to be at 33 now its at 30. I figured he would get the psi up to around 35 anyhow the gauge must have been broken. He fills up the tire I put back on the air cap and the kid tells me 2 dollars. I was kind of shocked that the kid told me anything I had planned on giving him a 3 dollar tip for helping me out. Obviously as I leave this review I left the child with some thing to think about. I told him Im surprised you were charging me anything but I had planned on giving him a tip for his help and sorting out the hose (even though I was told I can use it and did not need the assist) of three dollars but now I get to save a buck. Im not sure why Im leaving this post here. But Im still upset about it. I was told I can put air in on my own (ie. now worries help yourself to a bit of compressed air. We are busy its on us) too what felt like someone taking advantage of (Im not sure what the assumption was. But hell If someone came up to me in my place and asked me to use a tool to do a quick repair on their own. They obviously dont have bank to spend so sure why not help them out, hell Ive even offered to do it for them as a kindness and they should just pay it forward. But this place made an assumption that two dollars was a fair amount to charge someone for using their pump for a less then 4 seconds of air. When I got back in to the car. The tire showed 48psi it was supposed to be 33 as I told him. I had to pull over before I got on the highway and let out a drop of air so my tires were all balanced. (I did not because Im lazy) anyhow they dont remember me obviously coming to them for tire replacements or puncture patches. They just think he stopped here he should pay. Sometimes being irrational can cost us a customer. Unless Im in desperate need of tire assistance and Im stuck on magnolia this was probably my last visit. In a positive light they did not have to let me use the pump on my own so Im grateful for the gesture of goodwill and kindness.
