Horrible experience.. Be aware of overbilling for different services. A 25 minute visit for a replacement of a bad capacitor at our Viking fridge, the technician Frank replaced the part, explained what he did and showed the replacement part to me and 3 days later received a bill for a totally different repair, shown on bill as replacement board instead ..not a $15.00 capacitor and charged at over $500.00 Company refused to return any calls, did not show any interest in resolving the issue . Neither Frank( technician) or Appliancepro-Tech contacted us to rectify the billing problem. Also, original repair with aftermarket /generic part installed has failed, and we had to buy a new refrigerator.

I called for an estimate for my business commercial appliance, was given an appointment, rescheduled and then told 2 days later, at the time of the appointment that they don’t even repair commercial appliances. I was also misquoted.Wow. I was specific and detailed in my request. This is a huge problem for a restaurant to be without a stove.A company should at least know what their services are.

Ive never dealt with such an unprofessional business as Appliance Tech Pros. The tech on the initial call diagnosed my issue on sound and stated we needed to change the barrens. No issue there. We left the deposit and await installation. On install day, the same tech and another tech show up, and its no longer the part but the motor. However, after going back down to check again, they realize now its the transmission, which they state is not worth replacing, and we will eventually need to buy a new machine. But they say that we could continue using the machine until we replace it. They only charge for the service call, so we let them keep the deposit to cover the charge plus tip. Later that evening, when turning on the machine, it not only sounded much worse, it sparked from underneath. Prior to the visit my machine had a ticking noise - like something that would need lubrication.The next day I call the office and the lady from the office says that I will have the manager call you. Yet, I get a call from the tech, who is defensive, using a tone and language as to intimidate me. Also stating that the machine worked fine when they left, insinuating that I was trying to convince them to get me a new machine. How about you do your job correctly, and own up to your mistakes. So after ending that call, I immediately call back the office, and to my surprise my calls would not go through - they blocked my number. So I call from another number to which the guy that answers the phone very rudely - knowing that it was me, then proceeds to tell me that the tech that called me was the manager and owner, and not to call back again. At this point Im done, but it doesnt end there. Several minutes later the tech calls me back again with the tone of intimidation, asking me why I keep calling, and not to call back again, but to have my lawyer call him. At this point Im scratching my head wondering how did we get here? Ive never had a more unprofessional experience in my life. I will never use this company again, and will ensure that my warranty service providers dont either. Do not use this company, you will regret if you run into a problem, because they dont own up to their mistakes and lack leadership.

Got an appointment quickly. Time was honored, and the gentleman who came to fix my refrigerator was polite and efficient. There ended up being no fix - it was in my garage and the repairman explained it needs to maintain an indoor temperature to work properly. So no repairs I didnt need. I feel like I can trust this company for future repairs, so will definitely keep them in mind. Also, Im in northern Passaic County, not near Elizabeth, but they service my area.

Exactly what you want from an appliance repair company. Easy, efficient, and extremely professional. I called on a Tuesday evening, the friendly receptionists booked me for Wednesday afternoon. The repair man called Wednesday morning and was actually able to come early. Frank arrived promptly at the time he said he would and was able to quickly diagnose and repair a factory issue on our fridge. Highly recommend for any appliance repair.

Never before have i experienced a more unprofessional experience than with this company. After demanding a significant down payment, i never heard from them again. I called several times. The repairman did not fix the over the first time. He did not show up for the next appointment nor did he call. I called the company again. He showed up the next day. When i told him that i would pay after testing the oven for several days, he refused to leave unless i paid on the spot or he would take the part out of the oven. We actually had to call the police to get this guy out of our house. This is hard to imagine. NEVER, i repeat, NEVER use this company.

Technician was great. He called the let me know his estimated arrival time and was courteous and professional. When the repairs were estimated he answered all of my questions. He was very consultative which I appreciated.

Very Bad experience. They sent the technician they sent has no clue what he is dealing with - picks up his phone every 15 seconds - probably texting someone, broke one of the wires in my fridge and he said that he would send someone else but they have to charge some $ 400 without any break down to what they are for.

While the service tech was professional, he was dismissive of the problem. Hence, the problem continued after his visit. In fact, he had to return three additional times to address the same exact problem. Furthermore, the office support staff was quite unprofessional and curt. They needed better customer support training. I will never use this company again!

Got my first diagnostic visit today and the gentlemen seemed very nice and told me what the problem was and what parts they would need to order. Seriously hoping they can come back tomorrow to fix the problem completely before I lose all the groceries in my fridge, so more to come regarding this review, but so far so good.UPDATE: The technician finished the job today and seemed to have fixed the problem. The fridge and freezer are getting colder by the minute. Sorry for getting upset with the customer service rep earlier, I was panicking that Id have no fridge for yet one more day and my kitchen was getting stinky, but Ive made peace with the fact that I need to buy new food and the technician and customer service rep did everything they could to provide good and fast service.

AWFUL! Called the get my washing machine fixed. They were supposed to come between 5 and 8 on a Monday. The person never showed up, no phone, nothing. I called the next day and they weren’t even apologetic. They then said the technician would come between 12 and 3. He again, didn’t show up with no phone call to say he was going to be late or anything. I call the main line and she said he is running late. At 430 I call again and to get a time frame and she said the technician will call me and give me a time frame in a couple minutes. Again, no call. At 6pm I call the office again and they said the technician will callMe which he finally did. He didn’t arrive until 7:15pm. After he diagnoses the issue, he tells me the cost and says they only take cash, check, or zelle. At this time of night after just putting my kids to bed, I can’t go to the atm and didn’t have any checks on me. When I originally called to book, the receptionist told me they took credit cards. I call the place myself again, told them What the technician said, he told me this is not true and the technician has the credit card machine on him. So he gives the technician a call and tell him to accept a credit card. After all of that, they didn’t even apologize or discount my service or anything. I was curious so I called a few other places after to see how much they would charge to replace a pump and it was way less than what this company charged me. A rip off!! Do not use them!!!!!

My oven developed an issue shortly after the manufacturer warranty expired. I called in to these guys and got an appointment for a technician to visit. The issue was diagnosed and repaired at a fair price.During the holidays after extensive use, the same problem resurfaced. I called in and scheduled the technician to visit. For some reason or the other no one showed up or called to say something. I had to call the next day. (This is where I dropped 1 star)The technician came on the next appointment we scheduled and did some minor adjustments to the part he replaced. I am hopeful that this fixes the issue permanently.Despite the little hiccup, I am generally satisfied with the company and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Angel arrived exactly as scheduled. He was very professional. He diagnosed the problem. Found and ordered the necessary parts and scheduled the repair for next week. I was very impressed! I am looking forward to his return with the necessary parts and get my dryer repaired.He came back a week later as scheduled. He had to take the entire dryer apart but he replaced all the necessary parts and has it working like new. Excellent. I had forgotten how quiet the dryer could be.

March 19th a tech from this company came to my home, said I needed a new time on my washer, and charged me $100 to order it. Then NO call or contact from them at all for 14 days, I called 3 times, they scheduled 2 apptmts with me and kept neither one, and when I called today about exactly what time they are coming, I was told the part is no longer made!! I asked why they didnt call me to tell me they werent coming TODAY, and they said they have too many customers to keep in touch with each and the techs are independent contractors. AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU CARE ABOUT PROFESSIONALISM AND BEING TREATED LIKE A PAYING CUSTOMER RATHER THAN A BOTHER.

On December 3, 2020 Nicholas V. from Appliance repair came to my house to diagnose a dishwasher repair. I was told the motor would need to be replace and parts ordered. I was charged $150.00 at this time. Parts were to come in 2-5 days and I would get a call to set up repair. Never receive call. I called on December 15,2020 and was miraculously told the parts arrived and an appointment was set up for December 18,2020. No one called or showed up between the scheduled hours of 4-7 pm. I called and spoke with the manager, Larry. He stated the remaining portion of the bill would be wiped out as this employee has been an issue. He then scheduled a new appointment for December 23,2020 between the hours of 4-7 pm. Again, no show or call. I called to complain and was told Larry would give me a call back. This never took place and the company blocked my number from calling. I had someone else call to try and resolve the issue. Company was rude and talked over him the entire time. They did say they would refund the $150.00 but at this point I hold no faith in their words. Already filed a complaint with the BBB. Next is Channel 7s, 7 on your side. Use this as a warning not to use this company.

The two man team were absolutely great. They were professional, friendly, and very competent. The job turned out to be very tough, getting the very heavy built-in double oven out, repaired properly, and back in place. Late on a Friday evening, they were even willing to stay and check out the oven function, which would have been another hour or so of time to run through all the functions. (I didnt make them do that, knowing I could call them with any issues, but the point is they were willing to do so.) That type of professionalism and dedication is rare. The service tech was good. I only rated them 3 since there was no follow up for the additional parts I ordered. I ended up doing the repair myself. They also said the part was more than the quote so they considered it closed but never called to ask if I was ok with the higher cost. Lastly, I got the part for $100 from Viking and they quoted me $400 which I thought was excessive.

Poor customer service. Rep came on a Wednesday was told a part had to be ordered from New York would get it by Friday and he would come back on Tuesday to install. Tuesday mid morning I had no news so I called and was told by the office they had no record of a part being ordered, they would have to talk to the tech (Angel) would call me back.. Didnt get a call so I called back and was told Angel would call me. He was busy with another customer and would now come on Friday!! Never called me. More than a week with no refrigerator. This is not acceptable. So unprofessional. He took 2 minutes to open the door and tell me it was the thermostat. I should of taken the hint then instead of contracting this company. They should be ashamed to charge for a visit.

These people are a joke. We hired them to come fix our Maytag dryer. The guy came, hardly fixed it, and left. The dryer wasn’t working at all within an hour. We called to get it fixed again and they said he can’t come out til next week! Ridiculous. Then the technician texts me telling me not to tell the office he didn’t fix the dryer. They refuse to give us back our money, office keeps hanging up and ignoring my calls.

The service men arrived on schedule on Thursday December 10. They diagnosed the problem by observation. The refrigerator was sitting on part of the package it was delivered in and service person said this was the problem. It was crooked and caused a pull on the rubber around the fridge door. He removed the stand and glued back the doors rubber seal.The service mens visit did not resolve the situation. The freezer compartment is still over freezing and the refrigerator is hotter than when service men visited. A call was placed to the company on Monday morning(12/14/2020) reporting the situation, was advised that someone from company and tech would follow up but that hasnt happened.

Had Carlos as a technician. Very friendly and professional. He was pretty punctual with the appointments. He came, diagnosed it and told me it needed an igniter. He gave me the estimate and took a deposit. The next appointment he came to install the igniter and since then, I have had no problems. The staff was very helpful when I called or needed to speak to the technician. I would definitely recommend this company and I will definitely be using them again for my appliance repairs.
