The team at I Do is amazing!! They always put on a great event! They aim to please all of their clients! They get the job done! They are professional! And always super sweet to me. I am a wedding photographer and have worked with many event coordinators and Cody and Rick have always worked with me as well as with their clients meeting both our needs. I remember one wedding, the venue closed down their business just a couple of weeks before the big day, leaving the couple with no where to host their wedding reception. Cody worked swiftly to find a replacement venue and with his magical powers put on an amazing wedding reception where everyone had a blast!! I hired Cody when I was needing help the last couple of months before my wedding. I did need the help, and my wedding turned out less stressful with him fine tuning, completing the details, and cleaning up some of my mistakes in planning my own wedding. There’s no doubt that he knows what he is doing.My father-in-law who is a well established DJ had confidence in Cody, which really reassured me. There’s no doubt that he helped immensely, however he does have a bit of an attitude.The job that he did at the wedding was great, but his professionalism after the event was horrible. If you have your own items/decorations, good luck having him return the that you bought and provided to him for set up.I was foolish enough to not make my own inventory or ask for a copy of his. I trusted him. Despite multiple emails to Cody (with many that went unanswered) I haven’t gotten MY items back.Initially, I wanted to offer that he buy my items like he had mentioned in one of our meetings BUT after constant follow-ups, I just wanted my stuff back so that I can try to sell it. He made so many excuses that I was gullible enough to believe (including a flood in his warehouse). The last excuse was that he was tied up with events during the holidays, which made sense to me and I gave him until well after the holidays to catch up before I followed up again.He did not want to reply to my emails, he wanted to call me instead of putting anything in writing.I asked him multiple times for an inventory of my items which I have yet to receive. I was made aware that an inventory of MY items had been made because when my mom was picking up some items that I wanted her to take straight from the venue Cody tried to stop her and said she couldnt do so due to the inventory. My mom had already been fed up with some of his attitude earlier in the event that she just didnt take no for an answer so his staff marked the items that she took on their inventory.I was going to drive through El Paso on my way to a funeral last month so I asked him to please release my items to my father-in-law since I would not make it in while he was open. He replied stating that he would give them items to only myself and my husband on Saturday (the day of the funeral). He had already allowed my father-in-law 7 of my lanterns, my pink votives, and the sign to honor those who passed away and couldnt make the wedding around Thanksgiving time when he was going to travel to see us. When telling him that there shouldnt be an issue since he had already released some items to my father-in-law so it shouldnt be an issue, he stopped replying to my emails.The ONLY reason I hadn’t reviewed him sooner is because of the working relationship that he had with my father-in-law, but apparently - he ruined that relationship too by skipping out on paying him for an event.I live 8 hours away and it’s almost been a year since my wedding (May 2018).... I am FED UP with Cody thinking he can get away with it. I’m sure he’s pulled out some of my items and charged people for renting “his” decorations. For anyone hiring him, be cautious, put EVERYTHING in writing, just be weary of the way he runs his business because he is SHADY!!!!What I know has not been returned to me off the top of my head:1. About half of my lanterns (in which he is using for other events. He has pictures on his personal facebook page)2. Decorative burlap jars that held my flowers3. 4 reserved signs4. cards & gifts sign5. Guestbook sign6. love is sweet, take a treat sign7. Cake stand (that I bought for $130.00)8. Birdcage (used to hold my cards)9. Wood slabs used for my centerpieces
Cody is amazing!!! And his team is top notch. My sister contracted I Do Weddings for day of services. Not only did Cody make the event flow smoothly, but he was there to handle any crisis that came up. From finding vendors last minute, a few hours before the event even. I cannot say enough about Cody and his team. All were professional, respectful and carried out my sisters wedding vision. Also, they were well aware of the Covid restrictions and made sure we were in compliance. His team worn masks the entire event. We couldnt have been more pleased.

The planners/ coordinators are amazing. Very creative. They put together the most beautiful Bridal Shower for me. They were on time and had the party set up for the schedule time. Good was delicious. So happy

Im so glad I found this company, we live out of town but we wanted our wedding to be in El Paso, since most of our family is from there. I work a lot so I needed Cody to handle everything with my wife and he delivered. Our wedding was a success and it wouldnt of been possible without their assistance!
Cody and Rick are great at what they do. If you need a planner for your event, please consider I Do Weddings and Events. You will be able to enjoy the event.
This place may seem like a great place to start planning your event but the service is awful! Not only does he not get what you asked and paid for, he plays it off like he doesn’t know what you’re talking about. I found out a lot of places doesn’t want to work with them because of their horrible attitude. They don’t care for your day, nor do they care for what you want. DONT DO IT! I recommend Three Sisters instead.

Cody and Rick are both amazing ppl not only them but his staff and the ppl he hires to help us out with... my wedding was more than amazing and it was more than what I wished for and the day of my wedding I did feel like belle from beauty and the beast and that was Codys goal to make me the eye of the moment n I really was he made everything possible and he works really well with everyone and he understands you if u need help and he is a very good listener to top it all off and he is a great to take all ur stress away..I recommend cody 100%
