Ever since I came back from California in 2015, I started having problems with hair cuts for a while. The problem with ladies who cut hair do not really know how to cut a mans hair the correct way, period. I had also went to Pipos Barber School for a while where I came across 2 good students but over time they graduated. So I decided to go to other Barbers. I had gone before to Balwins Barber Shop and stopped for a while. Then I noticed a Barber shop in the Downtown area and started going there a few times and noticed from the last hair cut she cut my hair in an area the wrong way. I was having a hard time combing that area for a while. I was really pist at her, women that lack common sense period!! So I decided to stick with Baldwin from here on. Its run by his father and his son. I cut my hair with his son. He noticed where the problem I had with my hair and what was necessary to correct the problem. Even my young sister in Mesquite Texas told me women do not know how to cut a mans hair period!

Been going here since I was a child. Billy and his father Mr. Baldwin are some of the nicest people youll ever meet. I always get my haircut here. Ive gone to a few other places over the years but there is no matching the atmosphere at Baldwins. The Straight Razor shaving experience is also something you wont get at most hair salons.

Excellent barber shop with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It was my first time to visit the place so I wasnt able to make any appointment (I will remember to call ahead next time). Bill took great care of me and was able to squeeze me into his tight Saturday schedule. I cant recommend them enough.

Love these guys. Their attention to detail is much appreciated. I go every three weeks and I have seen people of all shapes and sizes and from all walks of life come in and out of the shop. They are all welcomed and treated like royalty. If youve been once then youll be on a first name basis.

The son gives great haircuts, but the father is a hair cutting legend. At first I was a little concerned since, like me, he seemed to be half-blind. The first haircut he gave me he had to use the mirror and his finger to mark where to cut. I was nervous at first--especially since I am uncomfortable around most barbers due to a traumatic experience from my childhood--but it was one of the best haircuts I have ever had. His experience and expertise is readily apparent, and it has clearly influenced his son. Im really glad I found Baldwins Barber Shop because otherwise I never would have had the interesting conversations and fantastic service Ive received there. I really cant recommend them enough to you. I didnt post this after the first or second visit. Ive been going to the Baldwins for awhile, and fantastic haircuts really are the standard there.

If you want an ordinary cut this is the place to go. They are a great pair of dudes for sure but if you want a newer school haircut this is not the place to go. Right now Im still looking for the right place. Dont go to razor line barbershop either they arent good to save a trip and your money.

The Baldwins Barber Shop is a great place to get a haircut. This is an authentic mens barbershop, great service, good conversation and a great haircut. I felt right at home the first time I walked in the door. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. I highly recommend it.

The old man that runs the shop is really nice but if you like fades and are younger, DO NOT COME HERE TO GET A HAIRCUT!!!! Paid 15 dollars and it literally took him 5 minutes to destroy my hair and be done with it. This is more of a senior citizen barber shop.

Honestly i aint racist but white people just dont know how to cut hair. Went for a cut and guy just passed the machine once maybe twice and he was done. Had to repay again at another barber shop to get it done right.

Baldwins provides great service, a great haircut, and they are great guys to spend time with every few weeks. These guys give you exactly the cut youre looking for at a really affordable price and with good conversation, to boot. The fact that they are a local father and son team is a bonus.

Fast no issues

Was hopeful given the high ratings on Google but walked out dissatisfied. Like many others have posted, my fade was pretty bad and had a couple patches of missed shaved areas. I left here and went directly to Kimz to get it fixed. Also annoying listening to barber talk about how awesome Trump apparently is.

Baldwins is the best barbershop in El Paso period. Not only is it locally owned and American made it is one of the only barbershops that carries the heritage of barbershops of the past into this generation.Quality and dedication to the customer : I walked in to get a haircut by Billy before some job interviews I had. I said Billy I need you to give me the best haircut youve ever given anyone. My future relies on the success of my look. So we went in the back and drew a pentagram out of chalk and candles, sacrificed a goat, and Billy sold his soul to the devil for my perfect hair cut. I would recommend that you go in there before satan collects on his promise.Mr. Baldwin also can give a mean haircut but not sure if he ever sold his soul for it, pretty sure it just comes naturally for him.

I used to get my haircut at Abels Barber Shop on the East side. When I moved closer to UTEP I had to find another Barber Shop that was going to be an awesome place. Sure enough I came across Baldwins, this is by far one of the best Barber shops I have been too and I do recommend it to anyone that needs an awesome haircut and experience.

By far the manliest experience ive had in a barbershop. The gentlemen that work here have the experience to be called Master Barbers. Sports banners, tv, magazines, political talk, awesome haircuts, hair wash and massage calls for awesome ratings. I was glad i found this place, not only did a need a good laugh and a distraction but i also needed a sick haircut...and i got them all here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Gentleman very nice and respectful, but did not listen to anything I ask for and completely ruined both my haircut and beard, was not able to cut haircut to shown picture and beard was cut uneven, will now have to.cut everything and start over. Needless to say not happy and will not come back or recommend
