TopTech Garage did a full Resto-Mod on my 1957 Chevrolet 3100 pickup truck. The removed the original L6 235 and 3 speed Muncie transmission and installed a new SBC HP 350 along with a new 5 speed Borg Warner T5 transmission.They did an outstanding job and considered all of the challenges faced when modifying a classic vehicle. These guys were very honest about what I needed for my car. They could have just done a $55 alignment and be done. They said that the alignment was good that I didn’t need one. They didn’t charge me for the time it took on the computer. While I was waiting the workers and Valentino where interacting with customers in a very honest and straightforward fashion. This is something that is very hard to find, and I will start to recommend too techs garage to everyone that I know looking for work to be done.

I would give them credit for a good repair. But it would’ve been nice to mention about the diagnostic fee in the quote instead of avoiding it until it’s time to pay. Also the idea of requesting people’s ID at check-in is ridiculous.

They were very thorough and they have a great mechanic doing all kind of suspension repairs. But as hard as they tried they did not fix the grinding issue and I still had to pay almost 400.00 dollars and I still have the same problem.

Excellent service. A good friend of mine purchased a vehicle just recently and was in need of a great place with great techs to help get his car running. Several techs advised us of the many repairs the car needed in order to be in not only drivable condition, but a safe condition for the vehicle to be on the road. Brake pads along with brake rotors were needed. We were advised about the brake lines needing to be replaced due to them wearing out over the years. The techs then continued to show us multiple bushings that had gone out and the several ways they found out those bushings had gone out. Based off of the mechanical terms that were used, a large amount of expertise and knowledge is involved with the techs there. Fair prices were given along with a military discount. There’s a waiting room that will shock any car guy as they have tons of aftermarket parts and catalogs and plenty to choose from. The techs are highly experienced and extremely knowledgeable on any vehicle from bumper to bumper and can resolve any issues your car may have. The repairs needed were quoted for 16 hours of labor, but after having dropped the vehicle at 10am, was completed the next day by the time they opened at 8am. This is one of the few mechanic shops that I’ve visited and when I arrived, I was immediately greeted with courtesy in order to provide a service that I needed. I just came to have my suspension checked out and in the long run, I ended up paying almost nothing for them to correct what was wrong with my vehicle and they even showed me myself what the potential issue could’ve been. (which is something I adore in the auto mechanic industry) Highly recommend checking them out whenever you get the chance and I’ll definitely be returning in the near future! :)

I left my vehicle overnight and they called me in the next day to show me what the issue was. 8 mechanics later to include the dealership and these guys narrowed it down to the exact issue. Not only did i have to find another shop to fix the issue, but they also had to repair other things that where done incorrect. The personnel there does not know what they are talking about and the techs are no much better. To make things worse, they have students from Southwest university working on your vehicle!

I found TopTechs a few months back and they are by far the most professional and knowledgeable mechanics Ive found here in El paso. I have a 1993 Chevrolet C2500 with the 7.4 454 that is my project truck. Ive had them replace brake lines, install my lowering kit, and most recently they did a fuel pump, fuel gauge sender and the pressure side fuel line that had to be custom made as I have the extended cab and long bed variant. They work very quickly and at a very fair price. I could not in good conscience recommend anyone else but TopTechs and a big shout out to the mechanic Mike who kept me informed throughout the entire process and informed of any challenges for example the custom made fuel line. Thank you TopTechs and Mike you are all fantastic!

Kept guessing at what was wrong with my heater....still doesnt work right

I took my ecoboost mustang yesterday for simple lowering springs, I was it would take 4 hours and it took almost twice that. I was waiting for my car the whole time because the guy in the front reassured me it would be done in 4 hours not double that time

The staff is very nice. I brought my car in on a saturday and they told me it should be done by wednesday. So when I got off work on wednesday, I called to see if I could come pick it up. They told me it wouldnt be ready till friday. For what I was having done that sounded about right. So I called when I got off work on friday, and they said itd be good by 1:30 on saturday. So I came in on saturday at 1:45. They told me it wont be done until monday. From my 1 experience here they do not stick to the timeline they give and they charge more than SVS which I already know overcharges. Unless they can fix this by the time I come get my car on monday, I will not be coming back. Although, good job on the staff for being nice.

I called these guys after an unexpected break down in El Paso. Short story: they got the problem figured out, got a part in, and got me back on the road in just a couple of hours at a very reasonable price.Long story is they are incredibly personable, explain what theyre doing, and are absolutely passionate about cars as you can see from their shop. These guys are doing frame up restorations. They are building drift cars with radical horsepower.They have built lifted trucks, tuner cars, you name it.While I was there they were showing a customer their camshaft and how it was burned up by a faulty lifter. Its incredibly refreshing to see old-school customer service combined with the competence to diagnose and repair anything with wheels.Would recommend!

As a branch of Southwest University, students with high GPAs work on community vehicles, with oversight from the schools instructors.My second visit outshone the first, and that is a tall order! Victor Saenz, service writer, was patient and kind in giving me directions by phone (unfortunately Google sent me to their retail location a few blocks away). Upon arrival, I was seen right away. Both Victor and Frank Lopez, retail manager, lifted my car and explained to me what they found, which no chain service garage has ever taken the time to do. Victor, Frank, and Danny Franco, general manager, took the time to chat with me as my invoice was being written up.I could see myself hanging out at a BBQ with these guys. These are examples of EPs finest: service oriented, professional, and all around great people. SU Top Techs- you guys are my garage!
