Best mechanic I’ve been to. We stopped by the shop on a trip from Tennessee to Nevada and had to get our oil changed and tires rotated. Alex was honest, professional, and incredibly nice. The work was done in a timely fashion and the prices were very fair.

Amazing shop and service was great working with mark. Was very wary on finding a shop to work on our vehicle after having another shop botch the job. But i went in spoke to them and got great vibes, they seemed very knowledgeable/experienced and were able to give me warnings too of thing that can pop up wrong during the job and cause extra expense. They also called updated me along the way and asked if we wanted to change some parts as preventative since they were already at them which was nice and wasnt much more cost. They were able to get it done fast too which was great it being our only vehicle. Happy to of found a shop i trust returning too.

I couldnt be more impressed and totally happy with this shop. I found them after another shop botched a serious repair. All the service techs were friendly, professional and comprehensive. This is now the only shop I would trust to perform any repairs on my vehicle with integrity.

This place USED to be a great auto repair shop. It was one of the best when Alex was always there running the shop, which now hes hardly there and sadly relies on some guy named mark to run it. Stickly my personal opinion, mark is a snake. A $100 job somehow turns into a $400 to $700 with issues my vehicle never had before. Im convinced he gets commission. Have been there 4 times and never spent anything less than $400 and ALWAYS ended up with new mechanical issues. If that wasnt bad enough, it takes them WEEKS to a month+ to finish. People who recommended this place NO longer recommend it; go figure.

I take my company vehicle and my family vehicle here. After trying many different mechanics I have found AV Automotive has been the most trustworthy and most reliable. Thank you guys for all the work and the honesty AND a special thanks to Mark for being courteous and very informative with what is going on with my vehicles.

Great mechanics of they say it will be done tomorrow it will be ready tomorrow they do Great work and I recommend them to family and friends I have been going here for years and they have warrentys for parts and labor if the problem you need fixed break down again you can go back but I never had to always get the job done right the First time GREAT MECHANICS

I had a heater issue. They had my car for 3 1/2hrs, got it fixed and went to pick it up. Awesome service!!!! Ive finally found a great mechanic.

My 2014 Dodge Journey received a code P0301 - cylinder one misfire detected. After AV Automotive diagnoses it, they said replacing the spark plug and coil-pack would fix the problem. The cost came out to $391, but it did not fix the issue. Code P0301 persists, and the engine still knocks. The shop owner/manager said there is nothing they can do because the vehicle probably leaks in the engine requiring a complete disassemble of the engine, costing $1,600.I took it to another body shop for review, and they replaced the cylinder one spark plug for $97 part and labor, and it fixed the code & knocking. They said the one AV Automotive put in was not OEM.I came back to AV asking for a refund for their labor and sparkplug cost since it did not fix the issue. They said that they wouldnt refund because I did not give them a chance to make it right, even though I brought it back before, and they said there is nothing they can do about it besides spending another $1600.Other than the employees, there was courtesy; I cannot recommend this place to do your repair. I have to dispute through my AMEX to get my money back.Nam

I used to always get a fair price and quality work done here. My final price has never been more than my initial quote (no surprises), but as of late something has changed. When I brought my car in for additional diagnosis because the initial fix that I already paid for was not indeed the fix needed, they kept my car for 4 days without ever calling me with a status. I understand that at times the technical portion of an issue can be a process, BUT, it was obvious my car was not a priority since it was warranty work. Every time I drove by my car was parked in the same spot. They NEVER called me with an update even after specifically asking them :please at the LEAST call me with an update. All I get from the mechanic is that is what the boss said to do. I will not be back solely on their lacking customer service skills.After a fix that required my dashboard to be removed, upon pick up the dash board vibrates really bad now, and the radio was upside down. While this seemed funny to them, it caused concern for their lack of attention to detail on my car for me. If the small things are so poorly done, what is going on with the actual fixes? No trust in their work anymore.

I needed my a/c fixed on my car right away so I called AV Automotive and they were able to get me in right away. We had already bought the part but they were able to diagnose and fix the problem without even having to change the part which saved us a lot of money instead of those other places that take advantage of you and it was also done within a couple hours. Excellent customer service, very friendly, and willing to work with us to help solve and fix the problem. We will definitely be going back if anything needs done to our cars.

Honest and good work. I took my car in because of the check engine light. Alex informed me it was a loose hose. He could have easily told me something else and billed me a ton, but he did not. He told me, I cant charge you for work I did not do. Unfortunately, honesty like this is becoming rarer. I trust him and will take all my vehicles to him!

They were quick in the oil change and also took the time to look at my vehicle for any more extra issues at no extra cost . A friendly shop . Will definitely go back again .

I am writing this review after a few visits to AV Automotive. Firstly, Alex and his team are skilled, professional, courteous and have taken great care of my vehicle at a fair price. If there was one thing I could call them out on, it would be communication, sometimes I wish they would update me a little more often, but I feel its just because its a small business and they have so many loyal customers. Despite this, I would still highly recommend them to a friend, coworker or family member and I will continue to take my vehicle there when it needs service.

Phenomenal service, took our car here a couple months ago after first taking it to a different place on Montana (“Pronto”) and explained to them that we were hoping to get it back fast because the other place had it for a week and did absolutely nothing to it; they had it fixed less than 4 hours later. Took our car again for a different issue yesterday, they finished repairing it today for (what I consider to be) a very low price.

They took great care of me. I called them 5 mins before closing and they said they would stay open until I got my truck towed to them. They did. They fixed my truck the very next day. Felt like they did a great job. Would take my vehicles there again.

This is a very great place to get your car done. Its very personal and they more then help. They just dont fix your car, they also tell you how it happened why ad how to prevent it from happening again. Also Alex will provide helpfull tips on how to do stuff yourself to save money. Most mechanics just want to take your money.

Do not be fooled by the shop’s sketchy appearance :) The technicians were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The price was reasonable as well.

Fixed a flat tire at 630 pm, I was lucky to find them open. Friendly staff.

Horrible local mechanic shop!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE! You pay for a diagnostic, have the issue fixed, go to pick up your car and it turns out Its something other than what they told you during the diagnostic! They will not refund you for you for what you paid for nor take consideration that they didnt fix the problem to begin with ! Happened to both my husband and I. All they want is your money. Horrible experience will never be going back!

Been here many times to have my vette worked on and they do great work and will work with you price wise, with reasonable rates. My go to shop!
